No more headaches or tears due to math homework and both of my kids have moved into advanced math classes due to our consistent attendance. Ana (Rockville) has been so helpful in accommodating our scheduling conflicts and goes out of her way to make our experience hassle free. She is wonderful!

I brought my kids, ages 9 and 11 to Mathnasium to enrich their math skills after hearing some good things from various people. What I found was by far better than what I had heard. Mathnasium truly is a personalized plan which includes an initial assessment test and a “prescription plan.” In one month on average, my boys have completed 5-8 mastery checks and are moving quickly through the plan. The owner, Arup takes time with each student and parent to explain the program and speaks with them if necessary after each session. The instructors are excellent and know how to make math exciting. My child was really struggling in Math. After only a few months attending Mathnasium-Rockville, shes a much more confident student. Not just in Math, but in all her other subjects as well. Mathnasium has been a lifesaver, and I cant overstate our appreciation.

My child has been attending Mathnasium Rockville Town Center for nearly three years now. She continues to enjoy attending and is progressing very well. Arup and his staff are second to none. They always have time to talk to me as a parent and more importantly work on Math with my child!

If your child is in middle school consider another center and one that is focused on where your child is in their curriculum. If your child is in elementary school this should work for them. The concept is to do a bunch of worksheets and keep track in the notebook. Things have not been the same since Joanna left the company and there is a lot of turnover. Also, I found out that the reviews on the website are only accurate if they have scored 8 or higher, usually negative reviews get removed. The owner and Gabriel and Olivia do a few questionable practices regarding customer service, retention and change management, which feeds over into the customer experience and impacted my childs self esteem at the center. The policy is to get the parents in as customers and to not let the other parents leave. We experienced this as a customer. I ended up hiring one of the Mathnasium tutors for private sessions for my middle schooler. That way she is working on the content required without any guessing games. So maybe give them a couple of months but dont commit until you see a few grades come in. By the way, my child is making great grades in math since removing her and working with a Mathnasium tutor privately.

The instructors and I collaborate on maximizing my daughters progress. I appreciate how engaged, enthusiastic and supportive they are.

My 10 year old son was struggling with math and had lost his confidence. I am so glad I found Mathnasium of Rockville. It has completely changed his attitude.
