March 14, 2021 -- My yard is ready for spring thanks to Moyers! Moyers gave my yard a fantastic makeover, including cleanup of the yard and beds, trimming, edging, and mulching. The team worked with me and each other to produce professional results that met and exceeded my expectations. Moyers also did a great job keeping my driveway and sidewalks clear this past winter.

I had a small bed that needed work. The dirt was too compacted for me to work in, and I wanted a bush planted (which I provided) as well as a couple of pretty perennials added. The crew also divided up some overgrown perennials and added to the bed.

I was very pleased with Moyers lawn service. My lawn looked great when they finished cleaning, trimming, seeding and mowing. They are very knowledgeable about plants. I highly recommend.

We are pleased with Moyers and Dales team. We hired them for lawn maintenance for our property. Leroy has done a fabulous job with servicing our lawn. The team is professional and responsive. Overall, our lawn is looking good even during the summer months.

Our neighbor altered drainage in the backyard and caused water to enter our basement. Dale was spot on in his diagnosis and made expert recommendations on what needed to be done. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, prompt, candid and empathetic. Since the work had to be done by the neighbor we couldn’t use his service this time, but he will have all of our future landscaping projects from this point on. Can’t thank him enough!Update:After working things out with the neighbor we decided to install a French drain next to our exterior wall as our protection against water intrusion. Dale was the first one we called. He scheduled the work promptly, thoroughly discussed the work details with his project manager and even showed up on the day of the work to ensure everything was done right. His crew did a great job with the drain installation, also gave the property a nice yard cleanup. Price was really reasonable too. We couldn’t be more satisfied and grateful. Absolutely the best!

It was much better than expected! 100% pleased with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone needing lawn care.

We contracted Moyers to get an assessment of the grade and drainage around the foundation and a few other minor things (shrubs, weeds, lawn). The estimator arrived on time and we did a walk around the house. He was super helpful and told me that the foundation looks fine and there is only a small area that could need some minor grading work but not really necessary if there isn’t any water leaking issues and it’s not worth hiring a landscaping company to do the work. So we decided not do anything with it. He also checked the weed tree next to the foundation where the HVAC condenser is located. It is again reassuring to hear that the tree does not pose any risk to the foundation and it is actually called butterfly bush and just needs to be trimmed down to the ground instead of being removed entirely. And he was so nice to offer to cut the branches for us without charging anything. For our questions regarding the downspouts, he explained that we do not need to unblock the pipe that goes underground but simply cut it to the ground and buy a downspout extender and install it ourselves — simply and easy! Overall, the guy was SO helpful. We really appreciated the help and would highly recommend the company to anyone who needs landscaping services.

We switched to Moyers some months ago and theyve done a first rate job on our yard. We use them for lawn maintenance and more recently for leaf collection. They show up on time and do an excellent job for a reasonable price. The men who come a professional and responsive. Couldnt be more pleased.

These guys are amateurs. My neighbor hired them to do a spring cleanup on her yard. They seemed to do an ok job, but they werent professional about it. First, they showed up at 7am on a Saturday and start unloading their truck. Montgomery County law prohibits loading and unloading material in residential areas before 9am on weekends and holidays. These guys are a Rockville-based business and dont even know the laws that have been on the books for over 30 years. Secondly, theyre using loud gas-powered blowers and edgers. If they were paying attention to their industry, theyd know that equipment is being phased out for electric, not just for the environment, but because its more profitable since the operating costs and maintenance are so much lower. These guys just dont seem to have a clue whats going on.

I was really impressed with the two guys (Elias and Samuel) who came to do the aeration and seeding a few days ago. It was hard work, but they were very thorough, aerating and seeding what seemed to be every square inch of both front and back yards. At the same time, they were very careful around our gardens and our cars. The younger fellow did the seeding while the other fellow completed the aeration, and I was particularly impressed by his thoroughness and skill at sowing the seed by hand along the edges and in areas where the broadcast spreader could not reach well.

Great people. Always come on the right day. Reasonable pricing. Do a great job. Treatments are very precise and they are following all the MoCo guidelines on fertilizers and pesticides. Dont hesitate with these guys!

I asked them to trim my hedges into the shape of michael vick betting on a dogfight. However, they refused to fulfill this request even though i told them how michael vick is my favorite NFL quarterback AND my role model (next to OJ simpson). Very unprofessiol, dont they know the customer (me) always knows best (smart).

Gonna use Moyers once a year forever. The crew of 7 (or 8) was energeticand really got the weed roots out. Then edged and mulched the various beds and what a difference a day makes. Thanks Again, D.O.

Moyers was top notch. Not only did they do excellent landscaping, but they also do excellent drainage management. They even fixed an issue for free after a storm. Jesse and Jose (his crew leader) are very professional.

We were very pleased with the landscaping work Jose and his crew did for us, especially the new walkway. It came out better than we expected. We really appreciate how efficient, professional, courteous, and conscientious they were in their work. Jose was especially great because he answered all our questions, made thoughtful adjustments to the layout, and made sure that everything was done perfectly.

I have been using them for many years. They trimmed several bushes, weeded, edged and mulched the yard. All to my specs. They are very friendly and did a wonderful job. I have always been very satisfied with their work.

I have been using Moyers Lawn Service and Landscaping for the last several spring and fall yard maintainence. Their prices are competitive. It is their customer care that wins my contract every time. The Moyers are very responsive, they are readily available to provide a quote and can quickly set up the service. The crew from Moyers always do an excellent job, and leave the job site clean and orderly. They always ask if the work is satisfactory before they leave the job site.

Everything about this project was first class, from the estimate to the actual work. The team showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up. They were hired to do two garden beds, including removing bushes, transplanting them to the backyard, placing new shrubs and replacing stone. They did the work efficiently and even spruced up the mailbox garden with fresh stone. Great job!

The lawn service has always been done in a professional manner. Signed up for snow removal and it was a backsaver. Then, I contracted for shrub trimming, yard maintenance and mulching. They were at my home today and did a spectacular job. I have the best maintained yard in the neighborhood.

My lawn turned into pure weeds. There was no grass anymore after they cut my lawn for a few weeks. They continually broke their promises and kept holding me to the contracted terms even though their service was horrible.

The whole process was pleasant, the staff was responsive, punctual and respectful. Their work was excellent! Highly recommend.

Wow I love this company. They mow my grass like clockwork. The landscape crews do absolutely amazing work. The office staff and estimators are professional and friendly. Very helpful. I’m glad Moyers Lawn Service is in my life!

Requested an estimate and got a timely response and comprehensive in person estimate in a few days. Estimator went beyond the call by taking old trash lawnmower and saving me a trip to the dump

Susie was horrible. Disrespectful and didn’t even let me voice my concerns. I took a full day off unpaid to wait for their person to come give me a quote. This person never showed up. Not the first time this happens. Susie was not even apologetic, she said maybe this is not the company I need! Interesting how she turns away customers. She should not be in customer service

Beware. Moyers has terrible customer service and terrible lawn service. Moyers automatically cuts grass too often, (approximately every 5 days) even when the grass is too short to mow. No common sense assessment. They only care about racking up charges. This spring, our lawn needed professional treatments, however, instead of suggesting such treatments, their mower kept mowing over a distressed, brown lawn the whole month of APRIL before the grass had barely started growing for the season. And, believe or not, we were charged for the unnecessary mows to the tune of $45 for each time they came to mow during the middle of the day when we were away from the home at work! What a sham! When I called Moyers to complain, their customer service rep/manager slammed the phone on me instead of attempting to resolve the situation. Fired them! Now, we have a beautiful lawn now with a different landscaper and we’re paying less!! Be careful with this company.

Have used Moyers for years. Always professional and thorough. They do great work. Looks beautiful.

To expensive.

My first encounter with this company occurred while we were traveling to a destination today, 04 September 2019. We were in the right lane of a double left turning lane and the Moyers truck was in the left lane. Both of us were waiting for a green light. As we began to turn the truck started to cross into our lane.. We sounded the horn to warn the driver in order to avoid a collision. What was the response? A worker in the right passenger seat extended his arm and flipped us off. This behavior does not speak well of this companys professionalism. What do you think?

I did not use them for a job but they were lightning fast in responding and very helpful. Would not hesitate to contact them when another landscaping job arises. Thank you!

The way that they work, apparently, is theyll show you different packages you can choose from. But if you pretty much have a concept in mind, tell them, and theyll do exactly that and suggest additions. For their price, their services arent bad at all.

I have used the service to cleanup a yard that was overgrown: ivy everywhere, large bushes, weeds, trees growing into the yard and so on. I called them up and clearly described the items I would like to get done. Then a day or so later I sent pictures of additional items I would like to get done. The crew they sent did a phenomenal job, I was blown away: I care for the place and had high expectations. Moyers exceeded those and then some! The house all-around is just beautiful now! Ive had my ups and downs with Moyers over the years, but this was clearly well executed and I plan to use them again and again! Give it a shot, ask for Marco or Jesse.

I first hired them to help me do the mowing but eventually, I tried out their gardening services as well and my garden has looked at its best since. I am so happy.
