Did a great job fixing up by 18 ft bow rider. Mechanical tune up and a repaint. Will be bringing it back for winterization later this year

Ive used many boat yards and service companies over the last 40 years and my experience with MD Offshore was outstanding. I had been out of high performance powerboating for about 14 years, and decided to get back in with either a Fountain 42 or 47. Andy at MD Offshore spent time helping me sort through various options at no charge, before I was a customer. This excellent customer service continued throughout the process. I had the boat (a Fountain 47) delivered from Wisconsin. It arrived after hours and Andy met the delivery driver at the shop. I received reasonable estimates for gel coat, custom paint, electronics, and engine work. All the work came in exactly as estimated. The quality of work and communication was excellent throughout. The paint work was especially impressive. The boat had a complex paint scheme and MD Offshore as able to restore it beautifully. They have a 50 foot paint booth, so larger boats are not a problem. Additional customer service included getting my trailer inspected and delivering the completed boat to the marina for me. I continue to be very pleased with the service at MD Offshore and recommend them highly for stem to stern powerboat service.

My boat was running horribly. No power. Stalling at idle. Took it to another shop first, they told me I needed a new motor. A friend recommended Maryland Offshore. They checked out my engine, performed the estimated repairs and my bill was $100.00 less than they estimated. Boat runs better than ever. Same motor.

While Maryland Offshore repaired my engine in my boat, they left the boat uncovered for the better part of 20 days. When I picked the boat up the cover was on and after a two hour drive back home I was disappointed to find the interior carpet of my boat covered in mold and the seat cushions full of water.I can understand they are limited for space and I did not expect my boat to be kept inside, but as to why they would let it sit outside with no cover when the boat arrived with a cover installed is totally absurd. They knew the boat was wet inside and grease all over the back seats and engine bay, but chose not to take pride in their work.

I dropped off an old Softopper canvas cover for the back of my pick up bed that had a bad tear across the top panel right at a seam. I didnt think it could be repaired without looking like a patchwork quilt.The end result is great! Even the color of the thread is spot on. Im very pleased with their attention to detail. It took a tad longer than I expected, but I told them I wasnt in a hurry. This wasnt even boat related. If I need something done, Ill look here first. Great group of guys and great job!

I got an estimate to service my outboard. The estimate was over 900.00 dollars. I did THE SAME WORK and changed THE SAME PARTS, the estimate they gave me covered. It took me under two hours to do the job.UNDER two hours and it was the first time I ever did this. I paid 120.00 in parts. Enough said.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about MD Offshore. I was a brand new customer several weeks back and they have helped me three times now and although Im bummed that I keep having problems I am ecstatic at the customer service and professionalism this shop offers.On day one they stayed a little extra late so I could get my boat from VA over the beltway up to the shop. Then Andy takes me around and shows me this beautiful Stallion they rebuilt for a customer of theirs. I was able to get my boat back on the water for the weekend and enjoy it with out of town family. Very cool!Each time they have worked on my boat they make me feel like Im their most important customer. Thank you Andy, Mitch, and James (sorry I cant remember the names of the nice folks that help hook the trailer up and get me out of there) Id recommend them for any and all services big or small!

Above and beyond! The best customer service. These guys hooked me up... I dont know a whole lot about boats so I just dropped my boat off that had some problems, they said dont worry theyll take care of me. 4 days later everything on my Cobia Monte Carlo is fixed and the price was very reasonable. They fixed things I didnt notice needed fixing but were safety hazards and they recommended some other things and gave me a lot of options. Will definitely return.
