I took my brand new Ram 2500 to get the Carli leveling kit put on along with new wheels and tires. Chris was very easy to work with and was very knowledgeable. My truck looks great and it rides so much smoother. Hands down I would do it again. I highly recommend California Truck Specialties.

Will never go to any other shop. I brought my truck to Chris and the guys at CTS after having multiple issues with a Carli Pintop kit that I had installed by Elite Motorsports in Woodland, Ca. I got in contact with CJC Off-road and they highly recommended I got to CTS. I went up to Rocklin with my wife and Chris welcomed us there like we had been coming for years. After a quick 30 min inspection Chris was able to find multiple issues with the front end. Chris contacted Carli on the issues I was having and recommended what needed to be done. I scheduled a day for repairs and what do you know, Chris’ techs found practically every nut or bolt loose that had been replaced. After torquing, adjusting and setting the suspension up correctly. My truck drives like I wanted it to and how I expected it to when I had the kit installed. Chris and hit team has earned my trust and all my recommendations. Although it’s a good distance away. I don’t question anything they do.

This shop is the best for all your truck needs. I had them do a spray-in bed liner, tint, tonneau cover and most recently a Carli 2.5 Pintop suspension with Radius Arms and Torsion Sway Bar on my 2020 Ram 3500 with 100% satisfaction. It was my first aftermarket suspension project. They walked me through the configuration, purchase, install and most importantly expectations - due to Covid and mass back-orders, they kept me continuously updated on ETA of parts. Once arrived, they scheduled me in immediately for my install. Truck rides amazing...all my hopes and expectations were met! California Truck Specialties are honest, fair, and great communicators...they really earned my business.

Simply the best. I had previously used Cal for a tonneau cover. 6 months later I traded in the 1500 truck and bought a 2500. Time for a new cover. I phoned Cal, Trucksmart and Rack n Road. Cal had the best price and could get it the next day (compared to 4 days and 30 days). They installed it while I waited (30 min).They’re all good companies but Cal seems to have the best price and the fastest turn around for parts.

These guys are fantastic. I needed a bed liner for my truck and I went in on a chance to see if they could fit me in. It was a Saturday, and I was told that there was already someone scheduled for that day and that they normally only do 1 liner on Saturdays. But, he told me that he would get me in and I finally got my Line X bed liner on my truck. I am terrible with names, so I cant remember the guys name, but he was fantastic, and the price was good and the customer service was fantastic. Its nice to see that there is still a business out there that believes in good customer service. I wont go anywhere else for my truck needs. Thank you very much.

I have been using California truck Specialties for over 3 years, they are the only shop i trust to work on my trucks. I recently had my front end of my 2008 ram 2500 completely rebuilt with rebuildable ball joints, new steering, steering stabilizer, and alignment. the time before that they worked on resealing the timing cover on the same truck, they truly are a one stop shop for anything truck/offroad! highly recommend!!

These guys were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I wanted a specific look for my truck and they nailed it at a great price. They did a leveling kit in the front, additional 1 spacer in the back, rear shocks, BakFlip bed cover, tire install and alignment. They were able to provide and install the bed cover cheaper than what I found online and I wouldve had to install it myself if purchased online.

TOP NOTCH SERVICE!!!I called about 12 shops to get quotes on hard tonneau covers. I originally was looking at the MX4 by Bakflip Industries, until, I stumble on the LXP by LINEX(which is pretty much the mx4 with ultra rugged, uv protected linex coating on the top). These guys at C.T.S. & LINE-X got me out the door, with installation, cheaper than anyone else in the area, without installation!!!It took about 30 minutes and the results were unquestionable. Bought My Yakima Overhaul HD from Truck Smart.. here’s my story, I bought a 12 foot aluminum boat that I wanted to put on my rack so I could go camping in my RV, so I found a couple racks and tried to put one on my truck didn’t work out, the day before we are going camping somebody said try Trucksmart, gave them a call and they knew exactly what I needed went in there in the nick of time they were closing in 15 minutes, it came in a box only one box And it was $1000 out the door, went home and I put it on the truck within one hour you could take it on and off and the funny thing about it is it looks great on my truck people say all the time where did you get that that looks nice, so I got to say. thank you to Trucksmart and Yakima You save the day

Brought my truck here to have 3.5 RC lift installed, wheels, tires and an allignment. When my truck was on the lift they noticed what appeared to be a leak at the front dif. I immediately called the dealership I purchased the truck from because it was still under the factory warranty, but because I had installed the lift I was told by the dealership that was now void. CA Truck Specialties contacted John L. Sullivan Roseville Chevy direct for me and got me in to have the warranty issue resolved. Truck looks great, and they provide three free follow ups (500, 1,500 and 3,500 miles) to check all the new suspension components for any possible issues. Great customer service.

We Brought our 2020 Jeep Gladiator In to get the spray in Bed Liner. Chris was beyond amazing. We brought the truck in and he explained the process to a tee. He then patiently answered questions that I had, most of them having nothing to do with why I was there. If you are looking for a good place to go, look no further. This is it. They treat you like family and are experts in their field. While we were waiting for the truck to be done, I watched as Chris and the rest of the team hustled between the phones and customers coming in. Even though they were busy, every customer was treated as if they were the only customer in the store. They were extremely attentive. Not only was the customer service excellent, but the finished product looked better than new. Their shop was also very clean. They clearly take pride in what they do.We were impressed. 10/10 would recommend.

We took our 05 Expedition here for a 2.5 leveling kit. Customer service(Lewis) was awesome! They pulled a huge dent in our rear plastic bumper at no charge and converted our trailer brake to a 7-way plug and had it done in a few hours. Their prices were substantially better than than the area competition (we called everyone). I highly recommend them and we are already planning our next trip back!

By far the best shop I have been to for my truck. Dealt with Chris the GM. He made everything easy and painless for me. Gave me the best prices and made sure I got the best parts. Number one thing for me is communication, Ive had shops never call or update on the process. Chris called and gave me an update frequently even though he didnt need too. The mechanics did an amazing job, new ball joints, wheel bearings, new 4.56 gears, seals, suspension bushings, synergy steering, steering box brace and had everything powder coated including the axles. I will be going back soon for my turbo kit and some Bed liner.

These guys went above and beyond for me. I was out of town for a 10 days. But was worried about sticking them with my truck for that long. But Chris assured me they would lock it in their shop nightly. So that was a big help. We settled on my rough country lift right away. But picking wheels and tires was kinda a pain on my part. Chris once again assured me that as long as I give him 2/3 days notice he could get anything I needed. I bugged him daily about ideas too! All that being said my wife and I ubered from the airport straight to Cal Trucks Specialties and I must say I couldnt be happier with the results!! I love the look and ride of my 2017 F150. I called up the shop and told them what I wanted to get done and they offered up some suggestions on lifting my truck. I took it in and they installed a 7” lift, some amp steps, some helper bags with on board compressor and a couple other minor items. The shop was super fast, I dropped it off a Wednesday morning and they had called me the next day around 3pm telling me it was all done! I couldn’t believe how quick they had worked as other shops have taken weeks and months to do WAY less work on my trucks in the past! Overall was really pleased with the attitude and promptness of the shop! I would deff. Recommend and will continue to utilize them for any truck modification needs I may have in the future!!

I had a bunch of work done on my 2001 dodge cummins. There was oil coming from every where. Anything from the valve cover to the front case. They did such a good job on my last truck I even take my new truck there. I will never take any of my trucks or cars any where else. The guys in the shop are master. I recommend them to all of my friends.

Excellent service everything was installed very clean! Nick took the time to even spray the underside of the truck from spilt diesel! They gladly rechecked all my fuel fittings a few days later for leaks everything was still sealed nicely very very happy with the service!

Recently took my 2008 GMC Sierra to California Truck Specialties. Had some horrible squeaking and creaking in the front end so I called and talk to Chris at the desk. He said to bring it up and leave it with him for a little bit, so I did. Chris and his crew at California Truck Specialties did a fantastic job. I got my truck back and it feels good as new. The workmanship of the technicians was fantastic and the communication with Chris was equally as good. Five stars for this great place.

Went in to buy a Honda 2200 generator, everyone acted too busy to help even though the store was empty, counter person got a sales rep, who was like “well all I got is the companion model, you should probably just go to Home Depot” 🤣..guess they don’t get paid commission on generators 🤷🏿‍♂️

Never take your vehicle to this place. If you must, use the one in Sacramento. The Rocklin shop is nothing but a bunch of liars, scam artists and completely void of any kind of ethical behavior.If you call, and can get through, the manager will tell you that he will get back to you first thing the next morning...NOT! If you get hold of him and he says hell call you right back, dont wait by the phone because it is not going to happen.I had a loud squeal under the hood. I took it to them and 2 days later the said they had to replace the alternator. When I got about 50 miles out of town, the same loud noise reappeared. I stopped and the repair shop there said it was the compressor. I had just spent around $900.00 for the alternator and I was not going to spend another $900.00 for a compressor. I did not use the A/C but the noise continued until I arrived at my destination. When I drove past my neighbors house he came out and wanted to take a look to see what it was. He sprayed some belt dressing on the drive belt and the noise stopped. I went to Auto Zone and picked up a new belt and the problem was solved. If you do go there, dont let them know how much is in your wallet because they will take it all. They have no problem telling you a lie right to your face. They are not to be trusted no matter how knowledgeable they may seem.

Do not go here!! Id give 0 stars if I could have! So to start I took my truck there to get a trailer break and 7 way plug installed the truck was fully functional and by the end of the day my break lights, my turn signals and my hazard lights all didnt work so I had to tow it to a shoo to fix it. I went back to get lineX on my bed and a 5th wheel hitch mounted thought they might cut me a break on the labor since I had to pay to fix their mistake but nope wouldnt do it. LineX was good but they didnt out on the warranty badge on it so I contacted lineX directly and they said my truck hadnt even been registered for the warranty, then I looked over the 5th wheel install and locking washer wasnt installed correctly so I had to go back again to have them fix the warranty problem and the locking washer on the 5th wheel. So apparently they dont look over there work to insure its done properly or finish the job they are paid for and if they mess something up you have to fix it on your own time and pay for it yourself. Long story short dont go here they will screw you!

For anyone who has tried to pair a bed cover and rack system for their truck youll know that it is not an easy or well defined process. After hours of frustration and confusion searching online I went to CATS in Rocklin for help. I ended up spending half a day at the counter with Louis and Chris who graciously took the time to help research and call suppliers looking for compatible solutions while simultaneously working a busy show room, counter and phones. After several hours, numerous calls and in depth reviews of installation instructions for various brands we found a solution with the ThuleTracRac and RetraxPRO MX bed cover. From there on out it was smooth sailing. They ordered the racks and cover, got me on their schedule and installed both in my 2018 Toyota Tundra within 10 days! The two products were installed without issue or additional work, and work seamlessly together. The aluminum rolling Retrax bedcover provides solid and secure storage for valuables in the bed while the TracRac provides overhead transport capability for kayaks, paddle boards etc. The racks easily slide off when not needed and are just as easily reinstalled for trips to the lake or river.Thanks to Louis and Chris at CATS in Rocklin for all of their knowledge, professionalism and patience assisting me with this challenging endeavor. I definitely had the sense we were breaking new ground to get my truck set up the way I wanted it and they were extremely helpful in making it a reality. I couldnt be happier with the finished product and my experience at CATS in Rocklin!

I can’t say enough good things about CTS. I worked with Chris over the course of a few months choosing all the parts for my truck. I changed my mind multiple times, had numerous phone calls, and exchanged dozens of emails until we finally nailed everything down. Chris was more than helpful, timely, and gave me his honest opinion (most times saving me from spending more money) throughout the process. The techs in the shop were knowledgeable, friendly, and provided a high level of customer service. I price checked my CTS invoice with another reputable truck shop in central California. The competing shop confirmedI was getting a great deal and they couldn’t beat the price on labor or parts. I, without the slightest bit of hesitation, recommend CTS to anyone looking for a reputable shop to work on their truck. I know they have undoubtedly earned my repeat business.

They messed up on doing alignment on my truck, and then ignored the fact that it didnt drive straight anymore, made excuses, and refused to take responsibility. Very difficult to work with and overcharge, different employees will give you different estimates, perhaps to pocket the difference? Beware if you choose to go there.

I am a contractor, I went to On the road trucks to buy some high side tool boxs for my truck.I also had them spray them with the bed liner they did on my truck and install them.6 months later the doors started bowing out away from the boxs and I noticed water from rain inside them.As I looked closer I find that the hinges in numerous spots was not spot welded at all.The spray bed liner they did was the only thing holding them together temporarily. So I took my truck back to them and showed the manager.He agreed that they were faulty and agreed to contact Weather Guard for replacement doors.I was asked to call them in a few days to find out the outcome.(why doesnt he say I will call you as soon as I hear from them?)So I called him in three days and he said, I havent heard back.Let me email them again.Call me again in a few days.So I called him back in three days and this went on for a month or so.Finally He said on one of my attempts to get them to handle this.Weather guard is sending us new doors I will call you when they come in.About three weeks later I got htat call.We scheduled an appointment to have them sprayed like the ones I had purchased.Upon my appointment of dropping off my truck he said there is a 200.00 dollar charge for the work.I said why am I being charged? These are your toolboxes you sold me and they are faulty? He said he wouldnt do it for free.I was very upset to say the least and still after having words with the manager.I cant understand why he will not stand behind his product and workmanship? He actually wanted to charge me more to spray my replacement doors then they did the first time when they were installed by them.I was asked to take the doors with me still in the boxs because he will not be spraying them. This guy is very unprofessional and Im shocked he is i the position he is in.Where is their accountability? How can they do business when they wont stand behind their work? They sold me faulty tool boxs and wanted to charge me 200.00 more to fix them.I hope everyone who reads this can see how I have been treated unfairly and ripped off in the end.Im in business myself and I didnt even know as a owner I had the option to not stand behind my work. Beware of this shady business or it will cost you! Ive added pictures of my truck.I wanted them sprayed and they look great to bad they leak.

Just had Jeep JK ball joints and drag link replaced. Nick and Chris worked hard to make sure warranty would cover the job. Great install, steering 100% better. Fyi, they also carry storage products from Taylor Wings out of Ranco Cordova.

The staff at on the road trucks have been working with my gen4 Cummins for about 6 months now. Over that time we did a 3 Carli lift, ARP625 headstands, FASS 150 lift pump, and a Southbend dual disk clutch. I have been nothing but satisfied with my experience at on the road trucks. I will keep coming back.Update 3/29/18After 10 solid months of stopping into Cal Truck Specialties I am very impressed with how they take care of their customers. Their new management is very professional and helpful. The employees there are very knowledgeable at diagnosing problems and trouble shooting. I wont take my truck anywhere else!

Worst experience I have EVER had putting money into my truck. first time I have ever decided to do upgrades, turned from a $4000 job into a $11000. they cracked the head of my motor by over tightening a tapered fitting and only paid for half! not only that but countless other lies and cheats on there part. it took them over 6 months to get my truck back to me in working order, I would not ever go back to these guys even if I was stuck 300 miles out in the middle of now where with a broken rig and they were the only shop. they dont hold to there warranty either wont call you back or respond to e-mail s . dont get caught like I did you WILL REGRET it!!!!!!!!
