This was my first time dress shopping for a Homecoming Dress and Sonia made it so easy. My friends and I all found a dress and had so much fun doing it! I’m a Junior, but I’ve sadly never been able to attend a homecoming before. This year is my first and I found the most perfect beautiful dress for it. The woman who helped me, I believe her name was Kyara?, was so kind and really helpful. She was there very step of the way. I’m about a XXL in most things, 22 in pants sizes, and shopping for formal dresses was super stressful and made me feel uncomfortable trying to find things that fit me AND make me feel good. I didn’t have luck anywhere else and David’s had a pretty good selection in multiple sizes, I think the biggest I saw was maybe a 28? I called ahead to make sure they had things in my size and whoever helped me was also super nice. After trying on a couple of dresses, the last one was the one. My homecoming is Disco themed and I think I found the best dress possible. I really appreciated the size inclusivity and body positive environment I was in. Would definitely recommend

I honestly heard a lot of bad things about this place like they lose dresses, poor customer service etc. Many people advised me against coming here but I did anyways 🙃 and I had a great experience! I had a dress consultant to help me pick out my wedding dress and her name was Maria she was awesome. She was extremely patient and kind. She had gentle vibes and was very helpful and you could just tell she was genuine and gave her honest opinions. Most importantly she made me feel comfortable. I recommended other bride friends to go there and ask to book with her specifically because of my great experience. Just having a little patience makes a big difference for the brides experience. I had no issues ordering my dress, they promptly called when it came in. It never got lost or anything. It is currently getting alterations now, and I’m hoping that process continues to be flawless as well. Overall very pleased and again, Maria is the best ever and so sweet.

I came in for a bridal appointment this morning (the morning of the Chemtool fire!) after being evacuated an hour prior, so needless to say I was pretty out of it and tense. Kathryn made me feel so calm, comfortable, and excited. My younger sister joined us via video chat because she’s several states away and Kathryn was SO great about keeping her included and helping her see the dresses. I’m usually bad at making decisions, but she found dresses that even I didn’t know I’d like - I walked out with something I didn’t think I would and I LOVED it. She didn’t hesitate to make us all feel special, involved, and have a great time - on top of being so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and giving us just the right amount of detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and I can’t wait to get my final dress when it comes in!

My bridesmaids bought their dresses here, since theres 8 of them I went on multiple occasions because we couldnt all go at the same time.They have great ladies working there who are very attentive and nice, they helped us find the dresses we needed.I also am so grateful for whoever was working when I forgot my phone in the bathroom, they were closing and still called my mom and best friend to try to find me, I was 40 minutes away and asked them to take it to the ice cream shop across and they did, someone else would have kept the phone, but they were very honest. Thats something I really appreciate.

Janelle (spelling???) was absolutely amazing, patient & considerate. I’m having a last minute, casual court house wedding and she picked great dresses for me to try on. She helped me every step of the way while also giving my mom and I space to talk and decide on a dress and accessories. As a casual bride I thought the store had a great selection of shoes too including sparkly slides and sandals for cheap which was awesome. I was able to get a long dress, a belt and shoes for $250. I had a great experience and everyone was so nice. Highly recommend, although I can’t speak to those wanting a dress in the $1,00 or higher price range

We made an appointment and had a wonderful experience! Cindy was our stylist/assistant, and she did an amazing job finding dresses that my daughter loved! It was only our first store, and on the 4th dress, we had a winner! We still went to several other stores, just to be sure, but came back for the prom dress, jewelry, and bra tape - all for $172! Even though it required driving over an hour from Wisconsin for us, I would highly recommend this store/location to anyone!

I am very pleased and excited to wear my wedding dress that I picked out over a year ago. My wedding is coming up on June 26, 2021, It used to feel like a million years Away but now its just a little over 5 months away and I got my dress today after alterations and everything was done I put it on at the Davids bridal in Rockford Illinois and I did not wanna take it off I was running around the whole store with it on. The girls at Davids Bridle in Rockford are So how full and nice they were able to help me with my undergarments and putting my special personal touches on my wedding dress that I wanted. I was able to get everything that I wanted along with getting my 7 bridesmaids their dresses And fitted promptly. The girls worked around my schedule and my 7 bridesmaids schedule to get all of the dresses ordered and sized right and any alterations that any of us might need or wanted to have done to our dresses. I would definitely recommend the Davids bridal store in Rockford Illinois to any new or past bride or special occasion event going on in your life they are spot on with detail and suggestions. The lady I had was nice. She was really into what I was looking for and did her best to make sure it was the right way I wanted it. There another lady not sure the name but she was rude. She told someone that my friends son wouldn’t listen and he was bad af.. I was right there also hearing it. I was not happy at all.

A couple weeks ago I stopped in with one of my bridesmaids to find an emergency replacement dress for her (my wedding was only 6 weeks away at the time). Monica, the Sales Associate that helped us was phenomenal. She understood our need and did everything she could to make it happen. This experience was literally night and day compared to the experience I’ve had at the Schaumburg, IL location. This experience felt welcoming and I truly felt cared for. Monica’s manager, Lilybeth, was also extremely helpful. I recommend this location to any future bride planning to shop at David’s Bridal.

My dress fit me when they had it pinned for alterations but after it was sewn it was way too tight to breathe in. They sewed in a different spot than they had pinned and now I can’t get my dress until the week before my wedding because they need to re do it. so hopefully they get it right or I won’t have a dress in time.

My sister and I went to this location today to find a Bridesmaid dress for my wedding. With the wedding two months away we needed to find a dress in the color and size my sister needed that would be here on time. It was no easy task, but Kat was so sweet, patient, and helpful! Okay, Ive been to this store four times with appointments and fittings and such and by far this was the best! The workers were knowledgeable, helpful and bold. They went out of their way to get what I needed quickly and accurately.My order experience online has been tragic and devastating but today at this store it was good. The issue is that the employees were too young and didnt know / werent taught how to approach or manage people yet.

Sonia was absolutely amazing! This is my second wedding and I had never been dress shopping before. I had no idea what style I even liked. She brought one of each so we could figure out what I liked and disliked. I was so nervous because I don’t like my body. She said she had the perfect dress and saved it for last! Store manager was on hand helping the young lady as she has helped me before, after many trips to various Davids, i was very close to trying my size on in a brides maid dress, though Im actually the mother of the bride, its easier for plus size moms to find a specific color and the sizes are larger. To make the dress have a more special look we added a belt.It took me over 4 months to settle on this dress and i hope Im happy with the end product as there will be no time to order something different. It would be nice if ALL DAVID BRIDALS carried a bigger selection of color choice dresses in extended sizes for the plus size moms. Many of the mom dresses come in light colors (light gold & Champagne) and my daughter was adament that I not wear a dress close to the color of hers, which the day is about her. I would suggest for future collections consider these issues I had, because Im sure Im not the only one. I will be bringing in my own mom to get a dress along with my sister in law and my niece.

Was told when I purchased my dress that it was ok to get it too big ( I wanted a smaller size) by employee because my alterations wouldn’t cost as much as I paid for my dress, well I paid $130 for my bridesmaid dress and the alterations were $110. Had I known I would have just bought the dress size I wanted.I feel like I bought 2 dresses and only got 1.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and they assisted me as soon as possible. They had the dress I was interested in in my size and it fit perfect. They were able to assist me with finding shoes to match then get the alterations done. Everything was done efficiently. I was happy with the customer service provided.

They was of no help rushing you I felt so uncomfortable I left best part was talking to a stranger as we wait to be rushed.
