I have nothing but good things to say about this program! From the start the staff was extremely respectful and listened to my needs. They helped craft a monthly payment that was extremely affordable while negotiating lower interest rates and minimum payments so that they still reported to the credit companies as on time and paid in full every month. I have already paid off two credit cards with them and I am on my way to paying off more. My credit score has jumped over 70 points in just a few months. They are very easy to work with! At the beginning it doesn’t seem like it’s working, but don’t get discouraged, it takes some time for them to get everything set with the credit card or loan companies and for to be reported to the credit report companies. They are good if you have a lot of little bills big bills whatever that are past due instead of paying multiple payments each month they consolidate everything so that youre making a smaller payment on everything each month without being taken to collections or whatever.

They do not advice you to stop paying your creditors, they help negotiate your interest rates to the best available, that way you dont lose all your payments to interest. I have been using them off and on for years! They work with your budget, have low fees, and pay off your creditors. If you want to consolidate all your creditors without a loan and interest payments this is definitely the place. Before finding them I tried using another debt consolidation program and the place was a scam. I sent a bunch of payments and none of my creditors were paid. By luck I found them and have stuck with them when I was in a bind! I will definitely stick with them and I am currently using them now to pay off a voluntary repossession!

I highly recommend Family Credit Management! I started using them October 2019 because my credit card debt got out of hand and I was not making any headway on my debt. I had never missed a payment to my creditors, but my debt never seemed to go down even on accounts that werent being used. From the beginning, the staff members at Family Credit Management have been very kind and understanding. They explained everything to me and answered any questions I had.Even though I have a few more years before I can say Im debt free, I am seeing my balances go down. For the record, yes, your account(s) enrolled in the plan will be closed and you may take a hit initially as far as your credit score. Its just temporary and no reason to panic over. In my case, it actually helped my credit score, but each case is different. If you hang in there with the program and make all of your payments, your score will increase. Just give it time. You didnt get into debt overnight so getting out of debt will take some time as well.Family Credit Management did all of the work by negotiating interest rates with my creditors and now, they are making the payments to each one. All I have to worry about is having the funds available for them to take my payments. Since my debt is rather large, the amount I have to pay each month is split into two payments. I set the dates for the payments to be drafted each month and Family Credit Management handles the rest.I have a huge weight off of my shoulders and know that everything is being taken care of. With so many companies out there stating they can help you out of debt, you do not know who to believe. I am definitely glad I found Family Credit Management. The staff was very helpful, informative, and attentive. They handled everything with my creditors, so all I had to do was send in the money. Family Credit Management has been the most honest and most transparent company I have ever worked with to consolidate my debt. Just like many people in their 20s who had no idea what credit cards were or how they even worked, my consuner debt got out of hand and now almost 30, I am trying to repair all the damage my young self has done.FCM passed no judgment on any of my balances and worked with all my creditors for a lower APR and lower monthly. Unlike other companies, they are not offering you a loan to consolidate your debt. Rather, they work with your creditors for better rates and monthlies that are doable. I started in January 2018 and in about 6 months (November 2020) all my accounts will be paid off. It seems like a long time, but it was so worth it. Thanks to them my credit has been saved and improving on a monthly basis.The staff has always been so friendly, quick to reply, and answered all my questions to patiently. I live in Hawaii so it helps a lot due to the time difference when Im contacted via email instead of calls.This was the only company that has truly helped me become consumer debt free. I have been a client of Family Credit since 2017. Their counselors are so kind and help you to make the best financial decisions for your situation. In the last 2 years my credit score has increased by well over 100 points and my debt is nearly paid in full. Even if you just have a basic financial question, they will do their best to help. They have always paid my accounts on time and even notified me right away when one of my husbands medical bills got sent to collections. Dont hesitate to reach out, you will wish you had contacted them years ago.

When I first set up the account the communication was fabulous, they were able to set up a great repayment plan with my creditors. But now a couple months in they have sent a few of my payments late, and customer service is not very friendly. The representative you start with is not the one you will work with, they just pass you along and you get a new person every time you call or send an email to. They will tell you you need to double up your payments if you want your creditors to be paid on time, what’s the use of debt management?

DO NOT use Family Credit if your accounts are not current.They claim to negotiate a new deal with your creditors, but what they dont tell you is that ALL of your accounts must be current or under their credit limit before the program actually works.All but one of the accounts that I handed over to Family Credit show that I havent payed my bill in 6 months and none of the balances have decreased by a penny.When I reached out for help they told me that I had to go and pay those cards down myself until they were under their limits, which are now hundreds of dollars more than I would have owed if I had known this going in. When I raised these frustrations I was met with a, yeah, thats too bad kind of attitude.My credit score has plummeted and I am infinitely worse off that I was before.

This would have been a 5 star review had they not tried to hit me with an additional fictitious fee after i canceled to pay off my credit cards thru a refinance. They charge a fee with each transaction as well as a start up fee in the beginning, which i understood and was willing to pay as they got my interest rates down. but after 3 years of payments plus payment of these fees, i was able to close out my credit card accounts with the help of my bank, but when i wrote to cancel the account, an agent attempted to get another fee from me, calling it a startup fee which was paid in the beginning of doing business with them. had they not tried to rip me off at the end i would have given them 5 stars. also their website is a bit hard navigate and takes some time to figure out.

I made my final payment today, 7 months early.I owe a special thanks to counselor Stephanie T., she encouraged and guided me through the programs process and what I could expect in the long run. She assisted me in figuring out a comfortable monthly payment and was always available when I had questions.When I initially spoke to Stephanie, I was 40,000 +, in credit card debt. The entire team was extremely helpful through the entire process - they made sure that I understood what I was signing -I was given all of my options upfront before any money was exchanged-Not a dime up front -No consultation fee-The very first payment I made to Family Credit was applied towards my account.Although there is no app - Viewing my account online was simple and I was able to monitor and confirm each payment each week ( my chosen payment frequency)- My remaining balances are also part of the data I can access .The flexibility was outstanding! As the smaller balances got paid off I had the option to keep the same payment and sub consequently pay off my remaining balance sooner or reduce my payment-I monitored my credit throughout the entire 30 months I was with them and each and every payment to my creditors was on time so my credit scores never suffered -I started owing $75,000 which consisted of 35 accounts ( I know I know )-I’m now debt free and my credit scores are great all the while having saved over $1000/ month during the process-Every creditor was glad to participate- There were no difficult phone calls to make as Family Credit handled them -I did not receive a single harassing phone call during the process - although I entered the program fully current on all my obligations and with good credit - I simply needed a break with my monthly payments-I strongly recommend starting the conversation to see if this is for you -After all you will not miss your 29% credit cards right ?

Honestly these hard working people are very much worth your time! I was in debt with three different companies one big one was Wells Fargo. Which didnt seem to care too much about me their Customer. So once things went out of control I contacted Family Debt Management, instantly I was happy to say they helped and now about two years in. The experience I had with Family Credit was amazing. They followed me every step of the way as my debt kept coming down. During the process I has another bills that came up and it got so overwhelming that I wanted discontinue and give up because I wanted the money that went towards everything else to go towards stuff I needed paid off now. I wish you can rate on two different levels cause for the staff that Ive dealt with by far has been phenomenal... but as far as my creditors getting paid on time they have lacked in that department not only does it not get paid in time sometimes the money is taken out of my account late and also my credit score has dropped tremendously not to mention 2 of my cards I havent even used yet ended up closing because when I signed up with this company it closed out all my accounts that I wanted to pay off Im just so upset because I thought that this would be best for me to get my credit right in so far I have nothing to show for it...
