They were timely and professional. The job was finished two days ahead of schedule. I have them the key to our church and NEVER had an issue. They did the sanctuary flooring in carpeting and LVT. They also did LVT on three levels. We inspected the finished product with numerous sets of eyes and found absolutely no issues. We are so happy!

Walked in and was greeted by Rob, discussed the problems we were having. Rob came out to our house and measured 2 days later and got the quote to me next day. Couldnt be happier with our experience with Lonnies Carpet Max. Starting with our salesperson, Bob, and everyone we had contact with. The guy who came and measured, the person who scheduled the work and both the guys who put down our laminate floor. Professional all the way through. Installation was flawless.

We drank the Kool Aid (great customer service) and now we’re sick to our stomachsWe ordered ceramic tile for our bathroom remodel from Lonnies. We had 5 weeks before the job began and the salesman supposedly checked and said that we would have the tile in 2-3 weeks. He declined to answer our written request for a confirmed delivery date After three weeks we checked and after he called the warehouse, found that the tiles were supposed to be there the day before. We were told to check back next week to see if the tile made the truck. The next week would have been the day that our project was to beginWhen I asked what they could do to expedite the shipment I was told “nothing “. I then asked if I could go to the supplier and pick up the tiles. They made arrangements for me to go to Elk Grove Village to pick up the tile. Essentially their great customer service was letting a 73 year old man drive into the suburbs to pick up 250 square feet of ceramic tilesFunny thing. When we ordered the tile we began looking at replacing 1,000 to 1,400 square feet of carpeting. I’m afraid that I would have to travel to Georgia to pick up the carpeting. We’ll probably look elsewhere

Do NOT use this company. We had new floor and carpet installed and it’s been a nightmare. No one returns calls and they have excuse after excuse. The carpet was done so poorly the tack strips were actually cutting us. Chris says this is normal, but I guarantee you he doesn’t have this problem at his house. The wood floors had to be torn out and redone. Both installation companies that did our carpets and floors no longer work with Lonnie’s because they stink. Chris never returns calls. They’re all lip service and don’t care about their customers at all!!!

I would recommend this place for carpet. They did our whole upstairs and carpeted the stairs as well. The installers worked really hard and did a nice job. They did have to do it in two trips due to the amount of carpet we had laid down. I like the selection in the showroom! A nice variety and well displayed. The sales person was not pushy which I appreciated. So many places you go they seem to follow you like sharks in the water! Not here! They let you know that they are there if you need them and are more than willing to offer suggestions and help you pick out whats right for your home. They had a nice selection of other types of flooring as well. We were getting ready to sell our home and needed a nice gray carpet that would go nicely with our Woodwork and wall paint and we found a good deal there! Will definitely go there again in the future.

We stopped by the store over the weekend. Great selection and decent prices. We were looking to carpet 3 rooms, nearly 1000 square ft. Like most, we wanted to shop the competition. Of the 3 stores we went to in Rockford, Lonnies was the only store that didnt wear masks, Not One Employee! During a serious pandemic, this made me walk away thinking that they dont care about me or the customers they serve. Unfortunately, I left the store and instantly decided I wouldnt be back. I know its everyones personal choice if you want to wear a mask or not, but I never thought a business would make that bold of a statement to not comply with the recommendations of the CDC. My $8000 purchase and loyalty is now with a competitor. Such a simple thing to do to show your customers that you care and you failed!Sorry Lonnies, you were our first choice to purchase from.

Made an appointment for someone to quote me a price, Never showed up.

We just had carpet installed in our basement. The young man that did the install was very kind and considerate. We love our new carpet. The only issue I have is that he marked up a couple spots on our brand new trim. He did apologize, but it’s still hard seeing something you worked so hard on have to be repaired before the space was even complete. Despite that issue, I would still recommend Lonnie’s.

I was here with a friend who was purchasing floor coverings. Specifically he was looking to purchase lineoleum which now goes by the name of sheet vinyl. Since he was looking for the cheapest possible price, I didnt think it was likely he was going to find what he was after at the price he needed, but Josh set him up with some remnants to refinish one of his rental houses at a good price. Hes very pleased. And I learned that you can get a good deal even at a higher end re-seller. I was impressed.

They do a fantastic job installing hardwood floors. Perfect at matching where the new floor and existing floor come together.

Have never done business with this company so my review is based on the fact that they keep calling my cellphone number even though Ive told them I havent purchased anything from them and dont intend to. No idea how they ended up with my number but they certainly dont listen when you ask them to stop calling you.

Great place to work with David Greenlee was very helpful finding us what we wanted and worked with us a lot to help us get something that we could afford for our home. The installers were also very professional and got the install done fairly quickly and they did a very nice job with making the corners meet and making sure all the pieces went together very seamlessly. Its only been installed a week so time will tell of the quality of the install but they did a very nice job putting it in.

Had our floors replaced by Lonnies. Im so in love with the flooring we chose. They did a great job installing it. The crew was super nice. The one complaint I have though, is that they told us it would be okay to lay vinyl on top of stone in our (approx) 7x7 entry way. When you step on it, it makes a hollow sound. And you can feel the vinyl bowing under your foot. They told us you wouldnt be able to tell but you certainly can.

Customer service and call back time could use some work. HOWEVER, after having issues for months and trying to figure a way to have our floors up to a standard that made us happy, Lonnies’ Chris and Crew sanded down and refinished our entire hard wood area (laundry room, hallway, bathroom, kitchen, breakfast nook, living room, dining room, entry way, and closets). Replacing boards that needed it and restaining the entire surface area. Our floors now look amazing!

We went to Lonnies Carpet Max to check out flooring for our bathroom and laundry room. We were treated as soon as we walked in to the store. Our sales representative was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the type of flooring we wanted. I would recommend Lonnies Carpet Max to anyone that has decided to update their flooring.

Terrible customer service. Came out to measure Friday early evening to measure said I would have the quote over the weekend. Monday came called store twice, no call back. 2nd person was not the most pleasant. Here it is after closing Tuesday night and no quote, no call. I guess they dont want and /or need the business. And this isnt done small job. If leave negative stars if possible.

When looking to put new floors in my house I went to multiple flooring stores. Lonnies compared to some of the others in the area did not have the best sales staff. It took them a while to figure out what I actually wanted for my flooring. Then when they finally did their prices were not exactly what I consider good. I would not recommend going to Lonnies for your flooring needs.

I purchased carpet and tile from Lonnie’s Carpet Connection the end of 2017 and installed the beginning of 2018. My sales rep Larry was excellent and a pleasure to work with. If Larry was not in other employees were more than willing to help. There were a few snags but Lonnie’s went out of their way to make things right and were very accommodating with our project timeline changes. The installation crews for tile and carpet were both professional and did a great job. Thank you Lonnie’s Carpet Connection! Highly recommended

My friend did the purchasing and scored some sheet vinyl at a better price than was obtainable as remnants from Menards or other likely haunts for that sort of thing. I usually shy away from salespeople, but Josh was friendly and knowledgeable, setting us at ease.

Bob Davis is the guy to talk too! I work for a real estate company and i use him for all our flooring needs. Fast communication and he gets everything done fast!

Horrible customer service. It took 5 visits to get everything done. Not prepared and a lot of miscommunication and screw ups. It started with the sales associate and went down hill. When I requested that we need not pay what they were charging because of the hassle. The general manager wasnt very forgiving with a price cut. Now if you believe in good customer service you should try a lot harder to rectify the situation instead of the customer holding your hand the whole time. Good customer service should be worth more than the bottom line. I will tell everyone I can to never use you guys again.

Flooring install was amazing, the guys working so smoothly and hardly spoke to each other. Very personable to talk to while working.

My family has worked with Lonnies for years, and after a recent renovation project, I can totally see why. We had a TERRIBLE flooring expert from another local company that we started with. Finally, after leaving our project halfway done for over a month, we called Lonnies. Their team came out and discovered that nearly everything that this expert did would cause us issues down the road. They completely redid the work same day and I could not be happier with the result. I will never take my business anywhere else!

There is NO reason to go to a box store - youll get better prices on better quality flooring at Lonnies AND youll get personal attention from people who know what they are doing! These guys are the best!

We are first time Lonnies Carpet Max customers and had a great experience. Lonnies has a huge selection of tile and salesman David Greenlee was a superstar! He worked tirelessly with us bringing in porcelain tile samples, working with us on price, had great communication, and always made sure we were happy. We will go to Lonnies and have David help us again!

This was one of the worst buying experiences I have ever had. I wish I had paid closer attention to the other reviews, but unfortunately I did not. Lonnies has hands down the worst customer service I have dealt with in a very long time. Rude and unprofessional, to say the least. It took at least 7 visits after their guaranteed perfect installation and I am still left with a floor the is bubbled and warped in a major area. The 1st installer had to make 4 visits alone just to do the door ways and transitions because he had no idea what he was doing. He also begged me not to call the store about it as he would get a ding. Then other issues arose and their head installer Chris and Lonnie himself came to check out the issue, was told it would be fixed again I am still left with a massive bubble in the middle of the flooring and was told there was nothing wrong with the install (even though it took 7 tries until I called it quits) and they will not reimburse me for any time or cost on the install. After sending an email to the high ups (cant get any higher than Lonnie I would assume) and not even getting a reply back for 4 days, it was evident that they could care less. They got their money and are moving on. I could not imagine a company where the owner was CC on an email from a customer who was completely screwed over not even taking a few moments to reply and at least make things right. I will never even consider using this establishment again and if I can deter just one person by this review and help them save time and headache by this post, then I will feel I have helped in some way. Buyer beware... There are many other options in the Rockford area I urge you to use.

The carpet cleaner, Kevin, was very informative. He explained what he was going to do before he started. I will give Lonnies Carpet Max 5 stars for the experience I had. Also, they cleaned my carpet the day I called for an appointment.

Worst communication ever in my experience!! First I was told it would take three days to refinsh hardwood floors. Here its monday and theyre STILL at my house!! Second,I thought I was doing them a favor by removing carpet......BIG MISTAKE!! Now i got a ton of carpet sitting in front of my house!! Plus the sales person never removed one of the rooms from my bill. If Id never called Im pretty sure this would be a total disaster!! As Im typing this Ive been waiting for a manager to call me. Not happy at all about my experience!!

Great experience from start to finish. First met with Kevin who answered and found the exact flooring we were looking for. Ken and AJ installed and did a fanrastic job they were very professional, respectful and courteous. We had been to a couple other area flooring stores both with horrible service, Lonnies was by far superior to all the rest. I would highly recommend them.

I recently got new flooring. As any normal customer would do, I went to multiple flooring stores during my search process. When I went to Lonnies Carpet Max, I was completely ignored, as if they did not want to sell to me! Horrendous customer service in my experience. I will not go to Lonnies in the future. If you care about a great customer service experience, I do not recommend Lonnies Carpet Max.

Hey thats a solid carpet. Got a 12 x 15 footer for circa $200 straight after tax.

A little over priced, but the labor was out of our price range.

Great experience wish i would have found these guys a long tine ago i own many rental propertys and every company would fly in and out and leave me with soaking wet carpet taking days to dry . kevin that came from lonnies to my own personal home assured me that they would be dry for football that same day i rolled my eyes at him ant told him i have heard that before . Now i feel bad about that because not only were they dry but they were the cleanest they have evey been!!! thank you very much p.s. i wish all companys were like these guys
