Not happy with service... I got a car from them that was in 2019 of Nov. The car was 13,000 now its 19, 000 but I already paid 8,000 for a used 2013 kia soul.. Wow.. When I asked about my paper work it was a big deal which made me question.. I was not treated as a customer, especially one who has made all those payments.. Those payments was every two weeks.

I would recommend this Byrider to anyone they welling to help you and believe in you I really thank them so much and Casey is so wonderful

My wife and I purchased 2 vehicles from Byrider of Rockford, and on both weve already spent more in repairs that the cars are worth just to keep them on the road long enough to have a down payment for a new vehicle. If you are in need of a car, youll find a better deal elsewhere.

This place is horrible I bought a car from them that continued to overheat. I had the car back to Byrider 4 times for overheating. They are refusing to do anything about it. DO NOT GO HERE...

Staff is extremely unprofessional. The owner is a hot headed mess to say the least. My mother has an account here. Her car has so many problems that she has had to fix!(complete junk) Outside from that they call me every month before her payment is even due to say she did not pay her payment!!! Giving out all of her information over the phone. If a payment is due before 5pm why would you call a reference at 9am and tell them the customer missed the payment? They have until 5pm to make it!! They also tell references to pay the bill for the customer! I am not a co-signer! This place needs to desperately be retrained on professionalism and customer service. This location, and mostly the owner DAN is giving the company a horrible reputation. Yes they will get you into a car and all of their good reviews say that but... tell me how it goes after that! I hope that corporate can get there and fix things before DAN hurts himself from yelling so loud at his customers.

Lie about the timing of your vehicle being fixed, say one thing is fixed but in reality nothing been started half check your car when you bring it in for it to looked at, fix one thing and the next thing breaks just a joke in total Ill never bring my car back for maintenance again and Ill be glad when Im done paying it off

The service dan is a very rude and loud person with no customer service skills he talked over us and would let my wife or me get a word in period he became loud and used vulgar language as did another employee by the name of Stacy that was also rude and very unprofessional the car my daughter from them has a blue book value of 2100 .00 but she owes over 10k they have refused to fix the car period it has been there 4 times and the last time they changed the oil no oil was put back into the motor there not friendy and I would ever send any one there to buy a car the junk lots on kishwaulee st would be a better bet to buy a car

Today I went in to JD Byrider and had little hope on getting a vehicle from here. Right when I walked in Seri greeted and and asked what kind of vehicle I was interested in. I told her a little about my credit and financial situation and she say with me for hours to make sure I was in a nice vehicle. This is the first time I have not had to go to a buy here pay here. She went above and beyond what she had to do for me. Now I have a nice vehicle I’m proud of and al thanks to her! She’s amazing they are a great car dealership!

The sales reps are very nice and willing to work with you and get you the best prices. I did have major car problems about two months after purchasing my vehicle and the warranty that they set me up along with the service team, Tim was able to get the warranty to cover the major issue and took very good care of my car and me as a customer.

The staff were very patient with me while I made my decision on which car. The finance department worked with me and kept a realistic view point which I appreciate not trying to be sold a car I really can’t afford. The extra benefits that come with (warranty and discount on oil changes etc) plus the fact they report to credit bureau to help rebuild credit made this place the perfect choice for me, hands down.

If I could give them a 0 I would .We had purchased a vehicle from them and every time I take it to get out oil change which has only been twice something happens to my car. the very next day and they say its not their fault .so therefore we have to pay their just out for money. There was no pressure on buying the Hyundai Elantra I purchased. I did negotiate on the price I was comfortable with paying. Basically it was a no hassle kind of deal.

We previously purchased a vehicle from here back in 2015. We received a text from Dave K. about a possible upgrade about a month ago, we decided to take a look at our options. At our appointment Dave K. was amazing. He went through our options with us, explained the changes that had been made since our last purchase, and was just so friendly and seemed like he just really wanted to help us. We traded in our van, they paid off our remaining balance of our original loan and gave us some money towards our new van. Larry was my salesman and he was recommended by a friend of mine. He was amazing as far as explaining everything to me on the payments, what coverage to get for insurance and worked with me on my down payment! As far as the program to report and fix my credit that sounds amazing as well since its something that I completely need. The service department fixed any little issue Ive had with the new vehicle at no cost and they were quick and very reliable on it all. Any concerns they are open to hear and fix very quickly as well! I hate car shopping. We always run around find what we want just to be told our background will stop that. Coming from a colorful past and not being taken seriously is par for the course. However, when we walked in here we were treated with respect and welcomed. Casey helped us find a car we could afford as well as one we like. Known close relatives to have purchased vehicles there and their car didnt make it 4 hrs before it quit running. They dont stand behind their cars.

**WARNING, NEVER GO HERE NO MATTER THE COST.**I posted a review saying this place was not good to buy a car a little over 7 months ago, after a full year of dealing with issue after issue, it has still proceeded to happen. Every month Ive had an issue! From my motor blowing, to engine misfires and shifting issues. I got a brand new motor (so they say) on 10/17/20 and it is now 10/19/20 and is having major engine issues once again after being without a car for 2 weeks. None of these mechanics know what they are doing, Ive worked with three in the year Ive had these issues. They will help you fix whatever but in reality they dont do anything of the sort. I am saying this with the most honest and kind heart possible, for anyone not having the stability to get screwed over, do not take a your risk at this place.

The sales person had not a clue when i asked a question instead of finding out the answer i got a I dont know he was in no way helpful did not want to do his job one bit very very rude to us just all around a horrible visit.. Went else where an found a car there loss.

My car died and it was time to get another vehicle. Jackie really went out of her way to help me out. She was able to work with me to find something in my range that suited my needs. If you want another car with no credit a job worth enough income go see Larry. He is patient and nice and will work to get you driving the same day. Be honest with him and he will work with you. This is a good place to get your first car or another car from. I dont normally do reviews good or bad but this Larry is a great sales person and people person. And it didnt take all day either.

Nice method of building credit and a way to get a car when you cant get one another way. If your banking on the warranty, make sure you read the details of what it covers (AND DOESNT COVER) carefully. The repair shop customer service job is like an insurance adjuster, they look for ways to not have to cover whats wrong.

David K has been there for us even after the sale was done. Their staff and service department is amazing. The breaks when out on my car and with their in house warranty is paid next to nothing to get back on the road thank you guys.
