My boys - ages 12 and 14 - love going to The Parlour for haircuts! It’s the only place we’ve been where they get exactly the cut they ask for. Tony and Sara are super friendly and it’s always a great experience!

Cheers vibe, always a different great music selection. One of the few places to get a decent straight razor shave. This place oozes local, doesn’t skimp on their product or service. And if you ask nicely, you might just get a dram of top shelf bourbon while you’re there. Visit once and you’re bound to make this a monthly stop.

Great Customer Service - The Parlour has be my barber of choice for years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair and beard. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I always make my next appointment when I’m there as they are very popular and can book up fast. Great shop atmosphere and always good tunes playing. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellent first experience with Tony and Sarah. Very friendly and welcoming staff and environment. They responded to my inquiry about an appointment promptly and even sent a reminder message about it the day before. Tony was easy to work with and recommended a few great ideas for shaping my beard and cutting my hair. Im very happy with the results and will definitely be back. Got a haircut last week it was so bad i had to get my haircut 5 minutes later, looked like they didnt do anything at all! And i paid $23 dollars for nothing

I had a scheduled appointment for 8am. There was no one inside the barber and the lights were off. I waited for 5 minutes in case anyone was in the process of opening. I checked online to see what time they open, and it was posted for 9am. I thought there might have been a mistake with the appointment, so I decided to come back at 830am after doing some quick grocery shopping. The doors were open and the barber, just him, was already with someone.He asked if I had an appointment and I told him that I did. He replied that there’s nothing he can do and could only reschedule. So because the barber was late to the appointment I get a reschedule? He couldn’t arrive a few minutes early before 8am? Very bad customer service and he couldn’t fit me in since I was on the book. Having appointment only yields bad business.

I have been going go The Parlour for over a year. I have had my hair cut by both Tony, who regularly cuts my hair, and Bryce. Both are great barbers and fun to talk to. Not only will you walk out with a great hair cut, but these two are guaranteed to brighten your day.

Its a really great place if you have a beard. I got my first professional beard trim from there and I would highly suggest it. And I would probably give it a higher rating the more I go. I felt that the staff was rather knowledgeable. Although my first haircut and beard trim was a bit of an awkward experience that I cant make heads or tails of. the person cutting my hair seemed very nervous and didnt really make any conversation with me during the entire process which left me feeling very vulnerable and uncomfortable. The owner, Tony however did make conversation even though he was servicing somebody else. The person cutting my hair made a few negligible mistakes but did a worthwhile job and Im wondering if they were just new or it could have possibly been that they werent prepared to have a customer with a wheelchair but they did accommodate me to be able to sit in my chair during the cut which I deeply appreciate it. I would highly suggest that if you are a bearded individual to check out The Parlour. As I said before I think I will come back to them and up my rating the more I go. I cant exactly fault somebody for being nervous but it didnt make me feel very comfortable to be honestUpdate: As I had said I kept going for hair cuts and beard trims. I am truly glad I did. Tony has given me the best haircut I have ever had. 3 months later it free put really nicely and just now do format next appointment. Its a humbling experience as a person with disability to put your outward appearance in someone elses hands. You have my word you can trust this staff of artists with craft.

Looks like thier front desk/phone person doesnt want to make appointments, called there was told sorry no appointments today, next appointment is next week thanks and hung up. Customer service like that will break a rumored great place. Looks like Ill never know how great theyre with that phone person.

Best barbershop in Rockford; best haircut of my life so far on my first visit. Go to Brice for a flawless fade. Staff is friendly, professional, with a laid back vibe, and highly competent. On top of that they just seem like cool people. You can tell they take their work seriously, and give great attention to detail. The conversation was even enjoyable, and Im pretty antisocial. The environment is perfect. Lights not too bright, music not loud or obnoxious, and the decor is unique and old-school at the same time.The last 4 haircuts I received in Rockford were terrible. All from different places I wont mention by name. They messed my hairline up in really ridiculous ways, and couldnt seem to fix it without messing it up another way. Then I went to The Parlour Style, and Brice corrected a years worth of other peoples mistakes in 20 minutes. The funny part was he charged me less than the other guys, because he said it was an easy job. I was so grateful that I left a 66.7% tip. He deserved it and probably more. I wont get a haircut anywhere else until I leave Rockford. Worth every second and penny.(Make an appointment, and give yourself a good 5-10 minutes to find parking.)

First time getting my beard trimmed, Tony did a outstanding job, and was great shooting the breeze with while I was getting the trim! Will be back for the next trim in a few months! Cool shop, has, clothing, beard oils, etc. also, stop by to check and get a trim or haircut! You won`t be disappointed!

My fiancé and I moved here almost a year ago and thought we would never find someone who could cut his hair the way they did in Indiana. After giving a few other places a try, we were recommended to The Parlour by a friend... and the rest is history. Brice is incredible! Not only is he talented, but he’s also super personable. Never have to worry about sitting in awkward silence again. We even book his appointments 2 cuts out to make sure we can keep coming back to The Parlour and Brice!! 🤘🏼
