From the first when I spoke to somebody and then when the person came to walkthrough and give me my estimate and then the delivery date oh, they were very professional and responsive and provided a good value. They fall through on every thing they promised from the pick up to the delivery. It was a very pleasant experience and I am happy to say they took extremely good care of my possessions. The best part of be pickup and delivery was the head of the delivery team Donald, who was extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and pleasant. Thank you to the whole team especially Donald for such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who needs to move.

Wow! Where can I begin? Mr. Donald Brice is one of the nicest human beings Ive ever met. Mr. Donald truly cares about providing an exceptional customer experience. He insured that our furniture and appliances were probably secured during packing and loading. He quickly built a great repor with his packing guys so that all were on the same page and understood what the expectations were. Besides just being there on business, I appreciated the conversations we had. He taught me a few things in this short time together. He is just a very personable human being. Mr. Donald was the best driver weve ever experienced in our time of relocations. Weve had quite a few. If you ever need Relocation support, Id request to have Mr. Donald Brice if I were you.

Carey is the worst moving service I have ever had to come out and do my move. My family is military so my whole life we moved regularly. The guys that came into carey ran into my door frames chipped my door frames put paper all over my $5k oil pastel painting. The paper got stuck onto the oil painting. Im still working it out with claims and it has been 3 months ago. They need to train their workers on the job field. There was one guy avoiding all the big furniture grabbing the smallest thins he could find after boxes. Way over priced and poor customer service. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND CAREY TO ANYONE

I had a great experience. After 2 awful moves I was very nervous by this process was very smooth. Professional, informed, kind, helpful. Jake and Sarah are amazing I highly recommend them. Wanda called ahead of time as the coordinator introduced herself and confirmed details and even after my stuff was picked up I got calls to check on how I was and to give me updates. My stuff arrived exactly when I was told which is RARE!!!! This move was flawless

Everything started out ok. The Allied/Carey representative came to the house for the survey. He was very professional in person. I showed him what needed moving and told him Id do the packing, except for the TV. The estimate he later sent, however, had them packing most of it, for a hefty fee of course. He said hed change the estimate to reflect my doing the packing. The estimate also had a delivery range that was wider than I had requested. I asked if it was possible to narrow that window to what we had discussed when he was at the house. He said hed have to check with his dispatcher and would get back to me. A couple days passed and I hadnt heard from him, so I emailed again. He apologized for the delay and said hed know something for sure tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, and several days after, and I still havent received an email from him. I can only assume that the move wasnt worth their time after the packing charges were removed. Still, is it too much to ask for them to be professional about it and simply tell me that, if that was the case?

My packers were amazing, and my furniture was loaded in Charlotte on Thursday, August 8th. I kept asking for an update on status (as I rented a condo August 15th and wanted an earlier delivery which was communicated in late-July) and the folks at Carey kept telling me they couldn’t get a hold of the driver. In addition, they never called me back with an update after noting they would. My spread was August 10th to September 2nd. I received a call from the driver on September 1st - he was in Charlotte and just loaded my furniture. The communication from Carey was poor; to me, it seemed because I already paid, I became a lesser priority. My driver is very nice, and I look forward to getting my items this Wednesday, the 4th, although it has taken almost 4 weeks.

Great company, took less than 3 hours to unload, place and construct 2 bed 2 baths fully. Crew additionally assisted with unpacking and hangin clothes from wardrobe containers. Very professional and helpful, best I’ve seen in my 10 years of military service and 6 permenant changes of station. Highly recommended this company to anyone especially families, their courtesy helped ease the stresses on relocating.

Up to the present time, we are pleased with the way Carey handled the move. They were very punctual and professional.

From the initial inventory to the completion of the move, Allied did a very good job and was the best priced.

Everyone please be carefull when dealing with this company and Allied! They told me they would be delivering our stuff the day after Christmas. Our coordinator even called me that morning and took our payment over the phone. She acted as if everything was going as planned. What ended up happening was my wife and I and our dog and cat waiting in the driveway of our new home on the day after Christmas. We waited for four hours for all of our possessions and a driver that never came. I will continue to post more details about our horrific experience with Carey Moving and Allied as will my wife and others. Again, I urge everyone to look at other options lest you be left on the doorstep like my wife and I for someone who would not arrive until eight days later.
