Went to them in late June. Spoke with Dwayne about my business. He was suppose to send things via email. We met once and agreed to meet AFTER he did the first step which was help me with my price list, business materials, refer website designers, etc. Kept emailing about it and Everytime it was Im working on it. Havent heard from him since. This place wasnt a help at all. Im a young entrepreneur trying to get started and its so hard with no help. Extremely disappointed.

Our Company The Shed Emporium have been working with the business center for about 6 months. Every new business should talk with this organization. We have been working directly with Eduardo Venegas and his team. I came across their website looking into ways to get our business started. I have lived here all my life but did not know Winthrop offered their services. They will prepare you with a business plan structure to have ready when you seek financial assistance and give you sources to look into for all your business needs. They assisted us in building our website which has generated good business itself. They provide training classes to keep you updated on where and how to get your company in the eyes of the public.We are now looking at opening an onsite location in the Rock Hill area in the Spring of 2016. We will continue to rely on the expertise of Winthrop Small Business Development Center to continue to grow our business.and hope they will be a part of our Grand Opening. I have had the pleasure of working with Eduardo Venegas at the SBDC with my new business. This program that offers to help with small businesss has been very helpful to me. They have assisted me with marketing ideas, a business plan and with my website and social media. I would have been lost without them.
