I am grateful for the variety of selection in the available food. I enjoy fresh salads & hot and delicious cuisine . When I need a healthy delicious home meal quick I cant go wrong here at the Golden Corral Buffet! I am always so grateful to meet one of the friendly staff as l enter. This place is clean, usually has a fine selection of good food and welcoming professional staff i much appreciate. Very satisfying 😁

I love this location!!! I am leaving a bad review because our server was rude. We never gave him an attitude but he kept being rude to us and got an attitude when we would ask for refills, etc. he was tall and thin with long dreads. We still paid it foward and gave him a 20% tip. I pray this gentleman stops being rude to his customers.

I dont care for buffets. I just cant eat that much, but my friend likes it and it was her birthday. The wait staff was exceptional. They work hard and are still pleasant and friendly. The food is decent, nice variety and well stocked. Its really the people that make this place. I hope they are appreciated.

The bacon is not cooked. Crisp enough. It is also taste old.

Food had no flavor and steak was either over cooked and was like leather or bleeding. Cook did not cook steak right both times. I asked for between median well and well done. One was very burnt and looked like its been in a fire for a long time and black. Buffet didnt have many choices as other Golden Corrals. The one in Gastonia NC is much better and drinks do not go empty trying to get something to drink. Will not be back to the Rock Hill one again. Upsetting because we had family to travel a long ways to see us and we took her there.

Good experience. Food was hot and fresh. Our server Malaysia(hope that is correct) was polite and took care of our needs.

The manager Lori point blank told me NO she would not clean a table for me and my mother to sit down every table was dirty we had been standing looking for a clean table for 10min trying to get someone to clean one. I was told they were short staff and to find another table. All other tables were literally cover in stuff top to bottom. If a company is short staff it is up to the manager to pick up the slack. Not tell a customer no that she does not have time to help me. Would have asked for my money back but my mother was hungry. Paid 20 dollars per person to pretty much clean my own table all other employees were wonderful and so was the food.

Its a buffet. What more do you want to know. You are literally taking your life in your hands with every serving spoon you grab. But when you just have to eat some fried chicken, and some grilled chicken, and some teriyaki chicken, and some pork chops, and a cheeseburger, and some shrimp, and some baked fish, and some salad and greens and corn and mashed potatoes and rice all in one sitting, well thats why you go to golden corral.

The food was not good, had to wait for food to come out, children running around making noise. What food I had could not enjoy because of the children running our table making noise.

I had a great dinner thanks for the great help of Alex and Chris. They treated me so well and I will come back. The food was delicious and it hit the spot. Thanks guys and Golden Corral

I did not feel safe at this place. There wasn’t really a mask mandate in place, people were not using the gloves to get food and the place was packed. All the condiments were sitting on the table unsanitized. The buffet is set up wrong. Food just everywhere in no kind of order. The rolls was cold… The desserts looked disgusting and were not already pre scooped in a bowl (Like other golden corrals)….Due to my uncomfortableness we ate very quick and left.

The food was good. First time I was at a restaurant where ALL soda machines were down and 2 of the 4 juice machines were down. Very bizarre.

I want to thank Golden Corral for a great start to a fathers day 2021. It was our first time trying Golden Corral for breakfast, and I must say it didnt disappoint. We arrived a little early 5 minutes or so and it was raining. We were standing right outside the door, me and my wife and three small children. The manager seen us standing there and rushed over and asked us to come in out of the rain. He seemed kind and genuine. After seating us he came over and wished me a happy fathers day, and I wished him one in return.After they opened the cash register line was very long, he jumped on a register and helped the young lady check people out.My wife and I own several different companies and I rarely see work ethic like this so, he definitely had my attention at this point. I watched him buzz around with the employees and keep them up beat and moving. Then he went around and checked on people at their tablets. It made us feel like we were in a small home town restaurant were the owner comes and sits at the table with you,lol. Ive got tons of employees and Im telling you this guys a super star!!! I actually contemplated offering him a job on the spot. Hang on to this manager, one guy can definitely make a difference.His name is Tom and hes at the Rock Hill SC location. I rarely leave reviews, but this made an impression on me so I felt it was justified.Tom it was nice meeting you, thank you for your kindness, and a great start to a fathers day.

Customer Service of working? staff standing around conversing instead of assuring customers their server is on the way. I know way to much about one employee. Moved to the only one I seen working other than the buffet workers & the Manager. Food was good. Recommend to go here, just look for a working servers section to sit in.

The food was fresh and tasty. The food bar was kept clean and restocked. Our server Angel was sweet and attentive.

Went here on a whim. A bit of nostalgia, I guess.Ill first say that the staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices seem lower than I remember and the food selections were just as I remember them..Despite this place having a system in place to ensure cleanliness(hand cleaning, then gloves) I still witnessed people not covering their cough, touching food with their hands, allowing young children to touch food, cough and sneeze over the food.A half plate in and I was no longer hungry.

Little weird no masks required but must get your food with a one handed glove. It can only be used at each serving. And if you dont take it off or firget the waitress will tell you to take it iff & give it to her. Extremely diverse customers.

Quantity over quality. Their rolls are pretty good, remind me of the old Ryans rolls.

We eat at Golden Corral whenever we can while traveling. This restaurant was wonderful. It was very clean. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the steak and catfish. The hospitality from Tom, the general manager, and his staff was tremendous. We will definitely return on our next trip through the area.

Tried the new Golden Corral at its new location for lunch today. Very good. New management and a few of the same servers. Pretty much the same food. Place is very clean and appears to be much larger than the old one. Staff is busy disinfecting tables and making sure customers wear gloves, masks at the food bars. Plates and bowls are handed out as you enter the food bar area. I felt pretty safe eating there.

Customer service is great waitresses are doing a wonderful job dealing with the customers that they get on a regular basis

This is the new location in Rock Hill. GC definitely needed a revamp and this new location is very well laid out. The food is closer together now so its easier to see all of your options unlike back then when the food was spread out across the whole restaurant. This meant that some stations didnt receive any love. Our server was very accommodating and hasty. Everything I ate tonight was great except the bourbon chicken. I believe it used to be a popular option a couple years ago but they should get rid of it. I only know it as the dish that is old and stale chicken now. The place was moderately busy two hours before closed and we did not have any problems with food not being available. I know Ill come back again in the future.

Everything was as good as always but Ricky on the steak grill (1/31/21) absolutely knows his stuff. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse need to come here so they can learn about steak craft.

The food is good. But it can be crowded. They try to help out with giving out plates and all but. I dont think that the new designe was thought out very well. It looks nice but it tends to be people crowding the bars. The food is good and better quality than it used to be. We enjoy going but it is pricey on the weekends just over $15 person with water and over $17 per person with a drink. But it beats cooking at home sometimes.

Had an amazing experience at This location. Not only was the food amazing but management (Tom) was very active and hands on and had AMAZING customer service skills. My waitress Patti was AMAZING AS WELL. She was very attentive and active and assisted my family with all of our needs. It will certainly be worth your while to visit this location.I’m about to go back right away!

We went to the new golden corral, they have just recently opened back up after moving here and rebuilding. 😄😃 loved the new set up!! New practices in place due to the Corona, but that didnt stop us! My husband and I went. You have to sanitize your hands then put a glove on the hand you will be touching the utensils with getting your food,the server hands you a plate, and you go enjoy😋😋 . Then when you want more you repeat the process! I felt safe and secure, and they had tables blocked off, so that was good as well.

This my first time at the new location in rockhill..the staff was friendly everything was easy too get too..and they was organized..if I had something I didnt like about it..it would be that the new location restaurant isnt as big as the old location on Anderson road..but I would definitely go back

One of the best golden Corral location iv been Ive been to hickory and Winstons but this one is way better lot of food options and the yams omg i dont like yams but the way it was made here omg mouth watering

New clean and plenty of good food. The ladies room has attendant who is consistently wiping everything. Sanitized each table seats etc after customer leaves. masks required and they give you serving glove and plate for each trip to food. Great servers. The food was good the place was clean but the waitress was terrible. I left my meal because I couldnt get her to fill my glass even though she walked by my table 4 times with a pitcher of tea. She even offered the 2 men across from me a refill and they had finished eating

A great place for your family to be mistreated by rude staff and eat low quality food for prices that arent worth it. Our waitress (Chode was her name I think) rudely said next time put your receipt on the table before you grab your plate not even greeting us. Then we were forced to pay for an extra person because my wife tried a bite of my steak.

They did a great job with cleanliness and using guide lines for covid-19. The food choices were good, same as they usually have. Its just the price is very high. It makes it hard for a family to enjoy themselves.

No More Social Distancing exists in this facility.. The Pandemic is still going on. Theres no more Social Distancing with anything in this place! Personally, I dont like that. Its a Super Spreader Place in the works. The food was still good.

This Golden Corral has done an excellent job of adhering to covid-19 standards. You must wear a face mask and gloves while at the buffet. There are no children playing in the chocolate fountain. An employee has to hand you your plate. The food was delicious. I felt very safe. Highly recommend.

I am lucky to🍽 dine in on the first day of opening. This is a new building not a remodeled structure. I will recommend this Golden Corral giving it an A+ for sanitation and six feet distance. The employees were so helpful and polite. The hot🍗 bars and 🥗salad bars were especially attractive and clean. I didnt eat from the🍨 dessert🍰 bar nor walked near because I came for the 🥑Healthly 🥦foods. You sanitize on entry and before using gloves to handling the utensils. They had very few options for vegetarians. Only one option of pancakes. The pancakes were very cold.

The bathroom was dirty there were kids fighting in there the restaurant smells and no room to walk around the food was ok very few things were good also there were almost no plates i had to wait 10 min for a plate

The food was as expected. Some things being more satisfying than others . the steak seemed very much improved by actually having meat instead of gristle . they are very concerned about the current state of our public health. They have many protocols in place for the safe handling of food, some of which I hope stay around even after the end of this viral invasion . Now with that being said, The one thing that I just could not help but laugh out loud at, was the fact that while Im standing in the 6 sd, must be wearing a face covering, must disinfect your hands, now put on this glove buffet line, Im not 2 from a large table full of patrons with no face covering, steady eating and talking and singing Happy Birthday . well that was my experience. Most of us have been to a buffet style restaurant before and most of us can probably recall a bad experience. The food was too cold, there was not enough of it, the service was awful, the wait was long, etc. This was my first visit to any Golden Corral restaurant and I have to say, I was impressed. My entire family of five was impressed.My visit occurred at noon on a Saturday and the lunch crowd was just starting to arrive. The staff was courteous and friendly, the food was hot and fresh, and the quality was much better than I anticipated. The server assigned to us was on top of our drink refills, cleared the table when needed and was available for any assistance. She came across as being happy to be there, which you dont always see from a server at a restaurant.Youre probably thinking, Im not going to a buffet in the middle of a COVID pandemic. I was mildly concerned about that too, but the policies and careful adherence to health and safety put forth by the staff raised my eyebrows. I felt completely comfortable and safe during my visit. Ive been to grand buffet restaurants in Las Vegas that didnt provide the level of service and quality that I received here. I honestly wasnt displeased by any aspect of my visit to this restaurant. Id visit this restaurant on Cherry Road again without any hesitation.

The waitress Amanda was very professional and pleasant. Very attenuative to my guest and myself. The quality of the food items was great as was the over all cost and fees. I certainly will return.

We had an awesome experience. We showed up almost at closing (totally our fault as we didn’t look at the hours) and they still seated us. Everyone was nice and didn’t rush us at all. My husband and I felt bad so we hurried up and ate so we could leave as fast as possible. There was a worker named Tom, I think he was a manager, who paid for our to go plates because he felt like he rushed us when really he didn’t. I felt so bad for showing up late but they still treated us nicely. We will definitely be back and compliments to Tom!
