Ive hired Hawkeye for the past 2 winters. 95% of the time, my long driveway is already plowed by the time I wake up to go to work in the morning; I really appreciate that. They always do a really crisp and thorough job as well.Two things are dissatisfiers. One, they virtually never answer the phone when I call (although they do eventually get back to me if I leave a message); email communication is a little bit faster than phone communication, but not by much. Two, it would really be nice if they had an online payment and account tracking system; instead, they send a paper receipt with each individual or weekly service. The statement never has a running tally of what my balance is. Thats a little inconvenient.

Did a great job

These guys mowers are the loudest I have ever heard in my life, sounded like they were landing a 747 in the driveway. I swear you wouldnt be able to hear an air raid siren if it was on your shoulder. I get a migraine just thinking about how loud these badboys are.

Reviewing now months after their work. Small backyard renovation with retaining wall. Awesome team and result. Added value to my home. I shopped around extensively and very happy with the decision in the end to go with Hawkeye - would highly recommend. Sharp price point and excellent work

I agree with some of the prior posts stating the truly unprofessional nature of the management of this group. I would advise you that they will not stand by their work (nor respond to errors and damage they cause to your property). Because they employ incompentant folks and then fail to train them in, you will likely be saddled with their unwillingness to respond to the damage they cause. Conclusion: STAY AWAY!

I had Josh come out in March to give me an estimate. He knew I would be back in town in May and said to call him when I got back so he could come out and remove a small tree in my backyard. Called him twice, emailed him, no return. I went to another company. Poor customer service. Work might have been good, but poor service. He told me word of mouth is very important to his company..well here you go..poor customer service. Here is the deal Jim, I should not have to call to talk to someone else because your service is poor. I have told all of my neighbors about your crappy service. You put more effort into your commercial of your son singing. That is crazy.

Very satisfied with the complete professional job they have done with their hard work and dedication to my property . I would recommend them over anybody else in town!Joe and the crew where awesome!

Got a quote from owner Jim from the beginning of July. I was able to negotiate to a price that was comfortable with. Over the phone Jim I agreed to pay half before the job start and the other half when they finish. Jim stated its going to be 4 to 6 week out since they are busy, which is understandable. I called today to get an update to see where I am on the list to find he didnt even put me on the list. He seem really confused. He said he can put me on its going on but will be other 4 to 6 week an I have to pay him half now to hold the spot. Taking my business else where, maybe my job was to small for his time.

They do Great work and very professional.

Would not recommend the services of this company...Stay away. The owner is an unprofessional Jerk and The crew is incompetent. I received a quote from the owner of Hawkeye services stating that the company would pull weeds in my backyard and take proper action on spraying roundup around all 4 sides of the house. I followed through and the crew came over to my home unannounced and started ripping away through the landscaped areas.. After 3 hours (overstated according to my gf who was home at the time) hawkeye services completed their weed Control. They did a terrible job weed-whacking throughout instead of pulling weeds like they quoted. They removed 3 plants/bushes that were not weeds and left a few large area of weeds untouched. I relaying my dissatisfaction to the owner however, he was adamant that his crew did the best job and thats what I deserved...We exchanged emails back and forth and each time, the owner Jim Harens rudely responded back to me each time and became very unfriendly. Stay away at all costs and hire a different company.
