AVOID! Save your hard-earned money and spend it with a better business. I started a new company in June 2020 and purchased my first bulk order (around $500 worth of mailers/cardboard inserts) at that time. Every 4 months or so, I would place the same bulk order. This last order was my 4th order placed with them and everything about it went wrong from the start, and to make it worse, Bags Unlimited took no responsibility and instead of giving me a replacement, they only offered a paltry 15% off for a future order.Lets start with ordering. I placed my order for 2 products that are used together - a rigid mailer and a cardboard insert that goes into the mailer for extra stability and shipping durability. I received tracking info as usual that both items were on the way, but when it arrived here, I only had the rigid mailers and on the shipping slip it showed the cardboard inserts were on back order. I NEVER would have placed the order originally if I couldnt receive both at the same time. No where on the website did it indicate products were not immediately available. I emailed them immediately and had to follow-up multiple times since they have no sense of urgency and sometimes just dont respond. It took a full 26 days (!) from the initial email contact to the shipment notification that the rest of my order was on the way.I order as supplies are running low so I did not need the new supplies quite yet. Once I did about 45-60 days later, I noticed immediate issues. The cardboard inserts were cut 1/4 shorter than normal most were off set (see pictures of what they normally look like versus what I got). The dimensions received were different than the dimensions listed on their website and of all previous orders. This made the inserts unusable since I need that full square footage for the products I mail otherwise they will bend over that gap area. I then took the mailers out of the box. Prior to that, I only did a quick visual inspection of both the cardboard fillers and rigid mailers by opening the top of the box for a quick look. At that time, I noticed the mailers werent as brown as normal, but didnt think much of it until I pulled them out and there was a distinct odor - worse than musty - but the same principle as if it got wet and then dried. I think that explains why the mailers were more a muted beige than the usual brown - they obviously were damaged prior to being delivered since everything stays in my temperature-controlled office (I work out of my home) and I have never had an issue before.I contacted customer service and per usual had to both email and call to receive an attempt at some resolution (if you do decide to do business with them, brace yourself for a lot of random excuses about why they dont reply). I requested replacements (first choice) or money back (second choice) and was happy to send back the product for them to inspect. Instead they said it was outside of the claim limits and copied and pasted a section from their website - part of that section I have seen (and read) before, but another part that gives a 10-day window I have never seen before and I wouldnt be surprised if they literally just added it due to my complaint or what I imagine are many others.Instead of resolving the issue, they only offered 15% off a future order. I will never use them again and suggest all buyers beware! Its apparent how they run their business so I know I cant be the only one that has or will go through this, but I hope this review helps someone else avoid the financial drain and aggravation of doing business with them.
Located on canal street, old architecture building, entry doors are heavy solid, compact wood, perfect to keep covid out. I came to know about this shop from a small chat with a fine lady in staples doing business on etsy. Definitely, a shop to buy bags for many needs, few could be repurposed, worked great for my shipping needs. It is not a place to buy one or five bags, a lot of ten or more is way cheap than any place Ive been. It has nice parking place. Shopping online and personal pickup is far better than shopping in-store. So try. Its a different kind of shopping experience, if you want to go cheap. I liked them, nice ladies working, these ladies were busy on computers, six to seven in a small hall, all busy, must be a good business. By the way, they did follow, pandemic protocol, no entry without mask..
This organization has the most extensive supplies of Records sleeves and boxes for storage of any company Ive ever encountered. Its still cheaper even to order the product in u.s. dollars and bring it into Canada then it is to buy from local distributors. Id recommend it highly

Great little store, with a every type of container you could ever think of. The location isnt the best, but that isnt the fault of the store. The receptionist we talked to was wonderful and they give you a discount for ordering in-person.
Im a local artist who sometimes makes prints and cards or want to protect an unframed work. Ive been a customer of Bags Unlimited for years. Very reasonable to stop by and order from the window. They also have white cardboard or other materials they can cut to order. Usually there are some free samples, too. Very helpful staff.

Placed order with Bags and the wrongs size magazine bags were shipped. Called Bags and spoke to Sheryl who brightened my day with her customer right attitude. Bumper sticker saying Poo Poo Happens explained the wrong size bags shipped, but Sheryl went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. Management, dont loose this valuable employee.
