Sent a laptop in for repair with Geek squad. was told its non-repairable and parts are not available. It is 4 years old. I picked it up and sent it to another computer repair facility. It was repaired in less than half a day. What???? Thanks Best Buy. I will not be buying computers from you anymore.

The service was excellent I was very confused when I stepped into Best Buy Geek Squad but Joe I believe thats his name took me through a process step by step on my own computer and the applications I left out feeling like I have confidence and know how to operate the applications along with my computer that I purchase from Best Buy I think him so much for his patience and his determination to make sure that I was satisfied and had the understanding I could not thank him enough

Was very unhappy. At first it had nothing to do with geek squad as i just went to pick up a Samsung 850 evo SSD. I went to the store to pick it up and they said, we dont have it in stock. I showed them their site and said ok, well look. So they looked and found it then tried to charged $20 more than it was suppose to be. BUT the little geek squad guy tried telling me that this drive is not Sata. That i have to get this this and that. I said listen, you can tell me that until youre blue in the face but this computer its going in is sata and so is this drive. He said no this drive is not sata. I just ignored him and checked out. For your info, the drive was sata. Samsung 850 evo. All 750, 840 and 850 series samsung SSDs are sata. Samsung 950 and 960s are all M.2 NVMe. I would like for Geek squad to prove me wrong ; ) . Also, the laptop this 850 evo went in works just fine and is very fast. I reccomend the Samsung SSDs but just dont buy at best buy/geek squad, theyll try and sell you other stuff you dont need and tell you its something that its not. 1 star!
