I worked here for 3 weeks, 17 years ago. I still have occasional nightmares about those 3 weeks.

Good place to work if your looking for short term or long term employment. They offer 401k and paid time off after 90 days.

They do not care about anyone or anything there other than money. They claim to have values, but it’s all talk. They don’t follow through with what they claim to believe. There is no employee engagement at all. There is no praise given when you do a good job there. There is only constant correction and verbal abuse. Correction is good and needed, but not the verbal abuse. Praise should be given too when doing something well, but it’s not. They constantly lie there to keep employees around, but then end up back stabbing them later. It’s not stable and employees constantly get laid off. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. There are so many better companies out there to work for. Don’t get suckered into this one.

This is a place for anyone who is looking to make some money. They are said to have a high turn over rate.

I work here and really I am happy to go to work each day. Show up, be your best self, do your job and there is no problem.

As the commercials that you see say, Its a great place for growth. This is true, but my strong recommendation is to use the experience you gather from this place to move to bigger and better careers. Great for college students who are looking to stay in the area while attending school.There are a tons of accounts here, some good and some bad. Sutherland has received a bad rep in the past for some of these accounts. Do not let that shy you away from here.As for the locations, the main building is the Jefferson Road location, secondary is at Rochester Tech Park and the executives remain at the Basin location. Jefferson Road is the nicest between there and RTP, however the food service is slow and extremely overpriced at times.All in all, if you are looking for an above minimum wage job, not by much, this is the place to go. Regular hosted career events all the time.2018: This place is an absolute garbage fire

If you just need a quick job until you find a good job then sure, this place could be good for a lil experience. but i highly suggest just getting your experience and getting out when you can. there is not much respect for anyone going above and beyond unless you work directly for Sutherland and not on an actual program. if you dont work for a sales driven team then expect less respect. they dont really care about you unless you are bringing in money. the facilities are disgusting but that is not because of the janitorial staff. they do their best and clean the bathrooms several times a day. unfortunately there are just gross disrespectful people working in some of the programs there.

Decent place to work if you need to pay Bills. Otherwise run..

Hey i got fired for something that rest of their agents do. Funny on facebook they try silence by not being to comment on the jobs they have available. Dont waste your time. They will prob stick you the att bs program. Att sucks they try to play you on all this money you can make the way the rest of agents do and if they dont like they discriminate against you. Att steals money from customers like me. They suck. Dont work for this company. Complete warning. They try to silence me bc i represent the truth.

Great job until they close your department and have a pending lawsuit so have to lay people off. Only issue is they lay you off under the guise of you being a bad worker oppose to be upfront and honest. When the times are good they are fantastic however when times get bad it was a hell hole. They chewed you up and spit you out!

Their call in line for emergencies is a freaking joke. I was on my way to the hospital with my 3 year old son trying to get a hold of my husband bc they cant have their phones on the floor and all I kept getting was an answering machine. I left message after message and nothing happened. Now Im sitting in the hospital with my son. Still waiting to hear from my husband. Thank you att at Sutherland global. Youve been a great help. Not!!!!!

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR.I WORKED THERE FOR 5 YEARS AND THEY ARE SO CORRUPT! I WAS TOLD OVER VOICEMAIL I NO LONGER HAD A JOB THERE. I HAD INTERMITTENT FMLA AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE IT IN BECAUSE OF MY CONDITION. THEY CAME UP WITH A NEW WAY OF CALLING IN SO THEY COULD TRACK YOU, SOMETIMES I WAITED 45 MIN HOLDING JUST TO CALL IN. IF YOU DIDNT, YOU GET WRITTEN UP. THEY DECIDED SINCE I WAS TOO PHYSICALLY ILL AND COULDNT CALL THE CALL IN LINE. WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET A HOLD OF ANYONE, NO EMAILING, NO TEXTING. I HAD SLEPT IN PAST WHAT TIME I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. BEFORE THIS DAY THE RULE WAS YOU HAD TO CALL IN AT SOME POINT SO OT COULD TRACK YOU, IF YOU HAD FMLA. OUT OF NO WHERE A NEW RULE WENT IN EFFECT THAT ONLY AFFECTED ME, SINCE I DIDNT CALL IN BEFORE MY SHIFT STARTED, WHICH I CALLED WITHIN 5 MIN OF IT STARTING I WAS BEING LET GO THE VOICEMAIL SAID. I BET IF I MADE A SALE THE DAY BEFORE THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED!!! THAT IS HOW CORRUPT IT IS, SO IF YOU ARE MAKING YOUR TEAM MANAGER AND MANAGER ABOVE THEM MONEY YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING. THEM ENOUGH THEY FIND OR MAKE UP A REASON TO GET RID OF YOU. I SAW IT HAPPEN THE 5 YEARS I WAS THERE. AT THE TIME MY PARTNER OF 7 YEARS AND THE PERSON THAT RAISED MY DAUGHTER PASSED AWAY 2 MONTHS BEFORE. It WAS ACTUALLY A LOT WORSE THAN JUST THAT ALSO. THEY DID NOT CARE AT ALL, EITHER MAKE ME MONEY OR YOU ARE GETTING FIRED WAS WHAT I WAS TOLD! I KNOW MANY PEOPLE THAT RECORDED CONVERSATIONS WITH THE MANAGER AT THE TIME THIS ALL HAPPENED BECAUSE OF ALL THE THINGS HE WAS DOING. HE WAS PLAYING GOD! THE 1ST 3 YEARS I WILL SAY I HAD THE BEST MANAGERS EVER. IT WAS GREAT UNTIL THEY GOT RID OF THE BEST MANAGER THE AT&T PROGRAM EVER HAD. THE MANAGER THAT TOOK OVER IS ONE OF THE WORST, PLAYED FAVORITES AND DID STUFF HE WAS NOT LEGALLY SUPPOSED TO BE DOING, (SO BAD I WOULD HAVE OTHERWISE GIVEN 4 STARS FOR PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT. OVERALL 0 STARS for COMPANY) HE LOVED PLAYING GOD WITH SINGLE MOTHERS ESPECIALLY!! SO THANK YOU SUTHERLAND FOR WASTING OVER 5 YEARS OF MY LIFE THEN STEALING MY VACATION AND SICK TIME I EARNED 4 DAYS AFTER I RECEIVED IT. THAT IS EXACTLY HOW YOU TREAT AN EMPLOYEE THAT HAS BEEN WITH YOU FOR OVER 5 YEARS AFTER THEIR LOVED ONE HAS PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY, LEAVING THEM TO TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING, BEING A SINGLE MOM NOW THAT HAS TO TAKE CARE OF A LITTLE GIRL THAT IS TRAUMATIZED. There are everyday job negatives here but Sutherland is not that bad. It is easy to get a job there, management is very leaniant and you could always leave and come back. The pay just went up so its not bad at all and the AT&T depts. will start receiving free DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW.
