I’ve used AP Plumbing in the past and always found the reasonable and professional. Professional, yes, but reasonable went out the window.I called them this week to replace some PVC under my kitchen sink. I made it clear this was NOT an emergency and any day this week would be fine. They were very responsive and came the next day.I get inflation. I understand cost of materials has gone through the roof. But $943???? I nearly fell on the floor. The guy was there MAYBE an hour. And that price included the $50 coupon he so graciously awarded us. 😫Will never use again nor refer them again. Expected maybe $300, and thought that was a generous estimate for some PVC. Find yourself a handyman for a job like this. $1000 for a few pieces of PVC and an hour of labor is RIDICULOUS.

I had a leaky pipe & my kitchen faucet needed to be replaced. They charged me almost $100 for the estimate. They quoted me $350 to replace a the faucet (I had all the necessary parts). The leaky pipe unfortunately cannot be repaired by them because it’s galvanized and they don’t deal with that, which I’ve had other companies tell me as well so can’t blame them for that. I declined the outrageous cost for a faucet replacement. So therefore paid $100 for nothing. Had a smaller company replace faucet for $150 that had free estimates. Also willing to work with galvanized pipes (some risk involved). I would recommend going with a smaller reputable company that has free estimates! Tech was nice, why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1.

We have been attempting for 4 years to get a leak stopped under the sink. Matt gave us 2 solutions,( just repair where leak was or reconfigure the piping) configuration of the pipes. He is very confident that it will be a permanently fix. AP will be our go to for any plumbing needs!

We had a relief valve that was leaking. I put in a service request through their website. They called back within minutes and we were able to schedule an appointment. Everyone I spoke to was professional and concise. Once they arrived they did a quick inspection, answered all questions and gave us a quote on the spot. We signed off and they fixed everything in a timely manner. Quick and professional service all around.

My experience with AP plumbing was great. The person taking my call, Katie, I think, and the dispatcher, Jason, were very friendly and helpful. John Ditullio was fantastic! He was very well versed in what needed to be done and was very efficient. He explained everything clearly and made suggestions when asked about future work. I truly cannot say enough about how pleased I was with his workmanship and his approach to his job. He is definitely a top employee; AP should be extremely happy to have him.

Our experience with AP Plumbing was great! What we thought was only a clogged kitchen sink turned out to be a much larger problem. We called AP first thing in the morning. They were able to schedule us for 10am that same day and they were right on time. Our plumber, Reese, was great. Due to the complication of the job he called his partner, Robert, to come help out. They resolved our issue that same day and the cost was reasonable. We will definitely be using AP again should their be any issues in the future!

Plumber Matt was great. He was punctual, polite and very professional. He was clean and neat and thoroughly explained what he did.I was not happy regarding the price. The garbage disposal they used was $450. At Lowe’s it was $119.When I scheduled the appointment, they would not quote me a price. Not satisfied with this policy and will not use them again in the future unless they quote me a rough estimate first.

Brendan of AP Plumbing was top notch in every way. He was extremely capable in identifying and fixing our plumbing issue. Very professional and fast. This was all done on a Sunday…no overtime charges. Very happy to have found AP Plumbing.

Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything, cleaned up and then walked me thru what he did. I would use him again anytime. I do think its on the pricier side but right now everything seems to be pricy to me. I called to get a professional job and I got it.

Had them for an estimate on a very simple thing (installing a gas dryer). The guy who gave the estimate was very nice but he spent 5 minutes here and then we got charged $90 for it. It would have been about $400 to actually have them do the work - a job that I doubt would take longer than an hour. Thats absurd! Maybe they are good for big or questionable jobs but I dont recommend them for simple things.

Matt was an awesome guy. He came check over everything and told what was recommend. Matt fix the sub pump in good time. Matt also was great at answering questions and always gave a good description. Thanks again Matt and I definitely will use AP again.

Our shower drain had backed up, fortunately we discovered it before it overflowed. I called AP Plumbing and they were there in under an hour and unclogged the drain, and sanitized and cleaned the shower as well. Our technician, Christian, was very polite, very patient, and explain everything and answered all our questions. It was nice to have him in our home. I would definitely recommend AP Plumbing to anyone!

Had a copper elbow start to leak. Technician came, and replaced the elbow. John was very professional, and friendly. The work was good. He was here for less than 1 1/2 hours with travel time. I was charged $ 660.93. He did quote me the price before he started, and said okay, because we had to have the water off because of the leak. We are both 79, and need to have the water. I just think that is an terribly high price for the amount of work that was performed.

John installed a new pedestal sink and 3-hole center-set faucet in our 1923-built home (we know this because John hauled out the original sink with 1923 stamped in the cast iron and took it away when he left). The bathroom is on the second-floor of our house and required installing new supply lines to the faucet, replacing the trap and scraping a bit of debris out of the drain line into the wall, as well as cleaning up the pedestal area of the floor. Somehow John was able to secure the sink to the wall and floor without cracking any of the existing tile while keeping the sink lined up with the tile patterns. The sink works perfectly and my wife and I are very happy with the quality of Johns work. Additionally, John clearly explained the pricing of the job and what our options were regarding the work to be done. John was extremely professional and cleaned up after the work was completed in the time frame that he estimated. I had a great experience and I feel very fortunate that we had John perform the work. Well done!

AP installed a sump pump/crock in my crawlspace and ran the discharge pipe through my back yard. I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Paul was knowledgeable and super responsive stating with the estimate, through the permitting process, and in any follow up. The crew was extremely professional. This company is amazing!!! We called them to give us a quote for new pipes to be placed for our two bathrooms. They came the same day within a hour! Then we called them back to do the job! They were here all day and did an amazing job, they explained everything to us, and showed us how and why and what they were doing! Dan and Sam make a great team. It is hard to get serviced where I live and they had no hesitation even though it was a lengthy drive for them. I had a plumbing project for two bathrooms. 7/22/21.When I called I didnt expect to get service so quickly . I expected to have to wait a couple days atleast. They got me booked right away and explained all fees upfront. Basically mo hidden fees. Replacing a sewer pipe is not something that every home owner will have to deal with. Unfortunately, in my case, we had a collapsed pipe that was part of the original construction on a house built in the 40s. AP came, investigated using cameras and came up with a solution. They were able to dig two 8 foot holes, pull a 60 foot pipe through the ground, and attach it to my house and the main sewer line in a single day. The work was grueling and weather was awful, but the three men who came to do the job were not affected. They answered all of our questions, did their best to avoid any property damage, and maintained a safe working environment. As always, when a job gets going, the inevitable unexpected snag occurs, but these guys were experienced enough to solve the problems on site without missing a beat. I really liked that when they made a decision on how to proceed, they called to talk it over with the head project manager to make sure everyone was in agreement before moving ahead. Another thing that impressed me was the attention to detail. I really got the feeling that they treated the job like it was their own house. Finally, my wife wanted me to mention how well mannered everyone was. We didn’t hear one swear word or argument. Given the cold temp, wind, and rain, I am pretty impressed with their ability to keep a pleasant mindset. Overall, we are impressed with the work, speed, and quality of AP and recommend anyone in need of a plumbing company to use them. A big thanks to AP fro the Schesser family.

From the first phone call, to the dispatcher, to the technician all employees were very professional. Melissa the technician was able to remove my 60 year old galvanized pipe and replace from the sink to the main stack in under 3 hours. No more leaks or slow drain or gurgling noises! Extremely over priced!! Would not provide an adequate estimate over the phone but informed me of the $90 charge just for coming on site. Technician gave me initial price of $800 to install two shut off valves worth $40 at home Depot. When I bulked at the price the technician lowered it by $200. I paid $612 for $40 and 20 minutes. They are not transparent with pricing. Im ashamed of myself that I paid it...they knew I was in a bind due to my son with a profound disability compulsively turning on our outdoor spigot to play with water. They took advantage of my situation and charged an outrageous fee. One star for arriving on time .

Easy scheduling and could come within a few days. Kept me informed of timing, which was very helpful. Could complete most work day of and gave us good suggestions of what to do and good explanations of what they fixed. Overall had a very good experience. It is a little expensive, but Im sure all plumbers are if they do a good job!

I will give them one star for showing up on time and fixing the problem. We were kind of stuck with them because we dont know anything about plumbing. They came to fix my 80 year old Moms toilet. We later found out they totally ripped her off. $170 for a flapper and $172 for a fill valve, both of which are probably $6 parts. Another $89 for the pleasure of them even coming to the house. At the end of the day my Mom paid $443 for a 15 minute visit. I would never call them again.Update: Lynette the Office Manager has Jason her Service Manager call me. He basically admitted their prices were high but since I paid it I could go pound sand. He was really rude and unpleasant. Why call if you are going to be rude and add insult to injury? Run from this place!!! My bad for not getting another estimate to see that I was getting ripped off.

A technician named Don was sent to my house for water leaking into the bathroom. He was so incredibly professional and thorough. He repaired the problem and gave me a reasonable quote for more work to be done. He even brought cleaner inside, and cleaned up the entire area when he was done. He made a stressful situation better. I would choose AP again simply because of this amazing employee and, their same day service with no OT charges! Great company.

UPDATE: This company reached out to me after misdiagnosing the issue and refunded the fee to come to my home. I very much appreciate their willingness to help.I contacted AP Plumbing because I thought my toilet was leaking. They came out, charged $96.12 with tax and told me it was a baseboard/heating issue. Had someone who does both plumbing/heating come out. They turned off boiler and bled lines. Still leaking. This is a water line issue which is plumbing. Why doesn’t a plumber know this? Very disappointed!

We used AP Plumbing for a clog we had that was causing backup in our basement and kitchen sink. Josiah came out and did a great job repairing it. He was very professional and did a great job explaining what was happening, what may have caused it, and how to prevent it for the future. He also replaced piping and installed ventilation under out kitchen sink to help with some “glugging” issues. Josiah also took it upon himself to clean up a very minor mess that I could have simply cleaned up myself. Overall impressed with the service and how quickly they came out. Fairly expensive, but the service and quality make up for that! Thank you Josiah and AP!

BEWARE - I phoned AP Plumbing asking for help with a faucet that was leaking from its base. They inspected the faucet and concluded a new faucet would be necessary and they would return to install it once it arrived. During this same initial service call, APs service man caulked the top edge of a walk-in tub and ran out of caulk before completing the job. The fee for this service call was WELL OVER $300!!! Shocked by this excessive fee, I phoned AP only to receive a combative response with no satisfaction. Disgusted with AP Plumbing, I asked a different well-known local company to complete the installation of the new faucet. They found no need for a new faucet and quickly fixed the leak with a simple tightening, then adjusted another faucet, and serviced a toilet - All for under $100!!! APs fees were outrageous and unjustified. I was left unable to use my faucet for weeks waiting for a new one that I didnt even need. After this, I reached out to AP again. Their return messages reeked of the same combative nature. Dont be fooled by the friendly advertising.

AP was incredibly professional. Their dispatcher called to set the scheduled time and then followed up when the plumber was on his way. The work was completed in a timely and clean manner.

It took me while to realize that using the chat function at the website to make an appointment just wasn’t going to work.So, I called directly and the process went very smoothly and efficiently.Adam showed up EXACTLY on time, assessed my problem list, took a few minutes to create a quote and presented it to me for approval.Once I agreed, Adam replaced the garbage disposal, tightened up all of connections under the sink and replaced the spray hose on the sink.On to bathrooms to replace two pop up assemblies, the down to the basement to install a pressure regulator which solved my horrendous hydraulic hammer that started after the water supply pressure “ mysteriously” increased to 85 psig.All of this was completed, the junk removed and cleanup taken care of in about 3 1/2 - 4 hours.Adam is indeed a true professional and he represents an extraordinary company.

Quoted 450!!! Dollars + 90 to just step inside to install ONE ( 1) faucet. The absolute most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of.

AP came out to fix a major plumbing issue at my home on short notice at the end of the day. The crew was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. They had everything fixed and back like new in a few hours and removed all the debris after. Great company and would use them 100 more times happily

There was an $89 charge to come out and evaluate the job. The evaluation was me telling him the drain was clogged. Normally when you have them do the work, that is waived and you pay the work price. This was added on top of the $387. Charge to snake the pipe. There was also a $10 charge for the truck(which I have no idea what that is for) so I paid $515 for less than an hour’s work. The machine also sprayed water all over the cabinet doors which I discovered after he left. I will say the employee was polite but i can’t believe $500 is the going price for clearing a drain. I’m not sure why I couldn’t have been told that prior to the worker coming out...lesson learned......

Got several updates as to arrival time and they came several hours earlier than first estimated. Professional and informative.

I literally cannot recommend them more highly. Every person that has done work at my house (or over the phone) from AP has been kind, considerate, compassionate, transparent with work that needs to be done, has treated me with respect, and even when we discovered some bigger problems than anticipated, they were patient with me having to decide on which options to go with. Its stressful to have plumbing issues, but not with AP. Seriously, amazing company and amazing people.

**UPDATE**AP Plumbing was able to address any and all concerns that my family has previously reported. They were very understanding and assisted us in resolving the manner. My mother was able to obtain clarity in the manner, and AP Plumbing has displayed EXCELLENT professionalism. Thank you so much for taking care of us. Brendan, the service tech, was prompt, efficient and his work was excellent. He installed a new commercial grade water heater, which is a huge upgrade over my old one. The old water heater quit working on a Thursday night. The appointment was set for Friday morning, and I had hot water by around noon. I was very pleased with the staff who booked the appointment as well.

Way too expensive compared to other providersthe average cost nationwide to unclog a kitchen drain without complications is $ 180 i was charged almost $500

AP also televised my waste line at my house to insure that the line was clear. Came and did it on a Saturday during a really busy season.

They fixed something in our home prior to our purchase as a contingency, and when we had questions about the fix they spent time explaining everything to me in layman’s terms, and then AFTER we moved in and had more questions they sent a technician out (Don), free of charge, who wore a mask and shoe covers, explained everything in detail about our system and then asked if we had any other plumbing related questions while he was there. It was so refreshing after the year we’ve had to know that there is a reputable company who continues to do their job, efficiently and with superior customer service, despite being in the midst of a pandemic. Christian Hill and his partner show up to my house to unclog the main line. Very simple straight forward job with their bigger machine. Charged me extra for scoping the drain full hour without informing me. Sat outside blocking my driveway while writing up the invoice for 20 minutes. Had to go out and ask whats taking so long. When asked if you were charging me time for siting here writing the invoice they answered yes. As a realtor, I have used AP Plumbing several time before however, I am very disappointed in the level of service lately will not recommend this company going forward. Beware!!!

Extremely overpriced. Not transparent at all with the estimate. Dont even bother getting an estimate as they charge just to come take a look. Would not recommend!!Update. The company was generous enough to refund half the estimate cost and I do appreciate that. Still, I did the job myself. It took 1hr and cost $45 in parts. AP wanted almost $900.

First they quoted around $500for each thing they offered to do. I said I cant afford that. So after having to pay$89 just to have them show up, I went to home depot bought a snake for $29 and fixed the problem myself. Was just a clog in the drain for my basement sink.Then they got stuck in my driveway trying to get out and tore up my lawn. My wife and I had no problems getting out of the driveway that day. I guess they dont believe in snow tires on their trucks. I will never call then again.

They wanted $700 to replace my basement sump pump, which is easily accessible, probably 30min of work, and a standard procedure for any plumber. Weve had new sump pumps put in, with drilling and installed liner, for cheaper than this!

I called on Monday with a non-urgent bathtub faucet leak .. it was fixed within 48 hours. Merritt and Sam showed up and they were very prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We recently had a bathroom renovation completed. It was supposed to take 1 week, and 4 contractors later, it was finally finished after 7weeks. We have galvanized pipes and one of them closed up, after sitting dry for a long time. Two different plumbers attempted to open the drain, but neither was successful. Melissa from AP plumbing showed up ready to rock and she got the job done. It took her a while, but she was determined. She saved us thousands more in dollars, from potentially having to reopen a ceiling that had just been repaired after being ripped open (the contractors flooded our dining room). I needed 2 outdoor faucets extended 2 inches each, and one capped off. They were prompt, got the job done but charged >3x their advertised rate. 2 1/2 hours and about 20 bucks worth of parts and they charged just under $1000. Total rip-off. Oh, and the tech capped off and added a shut-off valve to the non-fed end (inactive) which was the far side of the one that was capped off indoors. Clearly inexperienced tech. Definitely wont use them again.

They came in and completely replaced all the lead, and corroded iron/copper water pipes in my basement as well as replacing the gas main and all galvanized iron gas pipes. Only took them a day to do it all.

Servicemen were great! Very professional. The guys, Jordan and Mike kept a conscientious work pace and obviously cared about their work quality. The work area was also clean and neat when finished. We had AP Plumbing come out to help us with the removal of our old pedestal sink and installation of our new bathroom vanity. From the first time I called them they were incredibly helpful and super friendly. I had no idea theyd be able to get to us so quickly, which was a huge help as we were without a sink in our 1 bathroom home. Due to delays with the shipping of our vanity the dispatcher was very flexible with scheduling which I appreciated so much. John Ditullio and another man (I wish I knew his name!) came out to give us an estimate and helped make sure we ordered the right faucet. They were very professional and when they came back to install the vanity they were in and out so quickly! They left the bathroom cleaner than they found it and did a quality job on the install. Both of them were so friendly! I truly appreciate how well everyone we dealt with communicated with us, we always knew exactly when to expect them which was really helpful. Ill definitely be using AP Plumbing in the future!

We had our basement drain clog this weekend. Waited to see if it would go down and it didn’t. Called AP Plumbing around 5, they said that dispatch would call me back to schedule a time. Dispatch called me within ten minutes, discussed the whole process with me and clearly communicated their terms for payment before we agreed to have them assess the damage.I agree and they asked when I’d like someone to come out, I said ASAP and they gave me a window of 7pm -9pm.I received a call from dispatch about five minutes after 7pm and dispatch said that they were on the way and said the name of the person doing the work (J for short).J arrived shortly after the call, went straight to my basement he told me what he was going to do - open the valve and see if there was water, which meant the pipe was clogged. J opens, confirms it’s clogged and proceeds to get his snake. He then tells me go hang out upstairs and he will grab me when he’s all done to finish up payment.Listening to the snake go down, then stop and start again, finally, we hear what appears to be water going down a drain. I rush downstairs and proceed to see J squeegeeing my floor (with one we had due to rain). He didn’t have to do that but he decided to anyways. He puts his tools away and comes up and sits at the top of my entryway stairs, petting my doggos, I heard it and invited him up to finish up.Even though they may seem expensive, their professionalism and manners were outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone in a pinch.

They were going to charge $330 to snake a drain on top of the $90 service fee. Highway robbery! They also refused to give an estimate up front. Now I know why. BP Plumbing is much more reasonable.

They did me a solid a few years back. I called in because my sewer main was backed up. They informed me that the town I live in will provide that service for free. I was grateful. When my water heater broke I decided to give them the business. I had a poor experience with the estimate and disagreed on some things. I did not end up using them. However, after voicing my concerns they did make things right.

Wes,Sr. overcame many obstacles to install a gas line for our new gas stove. When I thought it was a lost cause he pursued and overcame many cold air returns to get the job done right. I would definitely recommend AP plumbing. They are top notch. Never disappointed and will continue to utilize their services when necessary.

I am in a new home and had my sewer lines backed up. Scared and during this time working from home Did not know what to expect. They walked me through step by step. First call the town and when they were done AP was waiting for my call. The entire staff Mike Sue Everett Dan all top notch. They went the extra mile and fixed the issue. Cost effective. AP plumbing had profession staff that did quality work. I was very pleased with the service I received. I needed multiple service calls that resulted in the digging up of my yard and removal of damaged pipes. As a new home owner this type of home issue is very stressful. Each staff member was professional and worked quickly and efficiently which contribute to my confidence that the problem would be resolved. I had a leak somewhere in the floor under our 2nd floor bathroom. The bathroom had tile floor and the leaking was coming from within the tile cement so my wife and I were concerned we would have to reno the whole bathroom. John D. was sent out from AP and he shared his experiences (similar to mine) and gave an honest appraisal of the situation. Because the leak was coming from an unknown location in the buried pipe, John was very open and blunt that they may have to dig up the entire floor. AP started digging up the tile from under sink, discovered that the leak was right under the sink location, and installed new pipe to the old existing.I feel fortunate that the AP Plumbing has experienced people to deal with a variety of situations and upfront pricing. Not only that, but John was teaching his co-worker the right way to approach a job.Thank you

My tech, Chris L. did a great job replacing my 19 yr old gas water heater. I wanted to supply the heater myself and he picked it up at the store and brought it to my house for the installation. That was really convenient for me. In fact, everything I wanted to be done was done, in a timely and professional manner. Chris was friendly and explained what had to be done and why. There was some code updating to be done and he was knowledgeable about that which I appreciated. I feel much better since I dont have to worry about the old heater giving up unexpectedly. AP set up this installation within a couple days also. All in all, I had an excellent experience with AP Plumbing.

Called/setup an appointment. Explained my issue over the phone. Plumber came out, didnt look at or do anything, told me I needed to purchase another service, and charged me $89 for a minute of conversation. They could have told me over the phone that I needed the other service done without charging me the $89. Im out $89 and no closer to solving/fixing the problem. Terrible experience, wont ever use again.

From the first call we had a great experience with AP. They came out promptly, provided honest, accurate diagnostic information and repair pricing. They were always on time and kept us apprised of the project status. Nobody likes to pay for this type of work, but we felt it was fairly priced, quality work. Every step of the project was handled professionally and every employee treated us with respect. We would not hesitate to call them again in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend them.
