I really like going here to get my sons hair cut, it’s “his barber”. Been coming here with his dad since he was younger. Now we continue, as his hair grows so fast. Very friendly guys. We call ahead and he gets us in as soon as he can.

Walked in at 3:45 p.m. on a Thursday. Both chairs were full. Was told that the facility was appointment only. There were no other people waiting, and the gentlemen had a short discussion in a different language before coming to the decision that the shop was by appointment only. Definitely disappointed by the interaction.

Radd is the only barber in Rochester NY that Ill let cut my hair. I searched around for a bit before finding him and theres no other guy in town that does it like him, his cuts are priced more than fair but I insist on throwing him a 20 each and every time I visit the shop. Have never left disappointed. If ya dont get your cut at Happy Man youre missing out. Best barber in Rochester hands down.

If you are a black man DO NOT GO HERE TO GET A CUT!!! He was rude when I told him how I want d MY HAIR! Tried to rush me out the chair Then charged me extra and my hair still didn’t look how i wanted it. Definitely never coming back and I’m gonna tell my friends too!

This is an old-school looking barber shop tucked around the corner from Monroe Aves main drag. Its run by Radd - a master barber. Hes arab and speaks broken english so you may need to be very descriptive with what you want done. Trust me, he can do anything! They offer cuts, shaves, hot towels and string pulls. His current apprentice, Juan, mixes his own beard oils and is very knowledgeable of black and latino hair care and styles. They take walk-ins, but youre better off calling for an appointment. I love this place and the free coffee!

This guy has been cutting hair all over the world since he was 6 or 7. He can cut any kind of hair, I moved away from rochester but I still let my hair grow out when I come back to visit my family here just so I can let him cut my hair.
