Honest - I asked about replacing my front shocks - he looked and reported back that they were new - I would not have known and he could have replaced anyway.Reasonable - We bring a Mercedes and classic Lincoln here. Both are tricky and his hours always come in reasonable.Never tries to upsell or take advantage.Highly recommended.

Honest and do great work.

These people are great. Took my car in for an inspection (had already failed at a dealership) and they inspected and repaired it for $100s less then every other place I had checked. (~15 places).They were kind and courteous and were quite knowledgeable. Also they were quite prompt and fast with the repairs (full strut assembly replacement in the rear) and my car was finished within 5 hours of taking it in.(Note: I had been referred there by my brother-in-law who is a mechanic himself for the city.)

Hands down an auto repair shoppe that values honesty, integrity and the finished product above all else. Time and again, i come to them with any problem whether overt or percieved and they get to the heart of the matter by methodically and with a fair amount of skill meets imagination examining the car’s inherent strong suits juxtaposed against the Real problem that many an auto repair shoppe might miss. I know this from personal experience. This attention to detail, as has also been my personal experience, does not waver according to what Mother Nature may or may not be doing at a given time - ultimately to achieve a job well done. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Al, Phil & Gus for keeping my car young!

Have been going to these guys for 5 years- great staff and very accommodating. They are very honest and will not try to trick you or push products on you the way other shops do. They really go the extra mile, too - I have had them add extra services (that I didnt ask for!) free of charge just because, and one time my girlfriends mom (also a long-time customer) was stranded and they drove way out of their way to pick her up! :)

Phil and Al are hands down the most friendly, knowledgeable and honest mechanics I came across in Rochester. Each of them have over 30 years in the industry. They took my car (VW) out for a few test drives to find the root causes of the issues. And then very patiently explained to me. The charge was fair. Im highly recommending this place!

Al has been working on my Saabs since I had an 83 Saab 900 Turbo. This is the best Saab mechanic in the world. He is fair and honest. I drove my car all the way from Atlanta Ga to have Al work on it and still saved $500 with travel expenses included. Hes a real Saab guy, not a Saab mechanic looking to rob you. He knows his stuff. I cant say enough good things about him. Totally trustworthy. If you arent satisfied with Impact Motors, you are impossible to please. Great place.

Awesome place, people, and service! I do my own maintenance, but had my inspection done here for my Volvo S60. I got the impression they were true Euro-gear heads. :-) If I ever need a repair too big for my hands, these guys will get another call from me!

These guys rock. It’s part of the reason I love Saab.

My car was in for service last month 2015 Volvo, because the power steering was going in and out and I could hear what sounded like a squeaking belt, daily.Later that day the manager call and said my tires are completely worn (new 2018) and I needed to replace the gas pressure pump. I repeated my question and regarding why I came in for service. At that time I was told that during their test drive no sound(s) was heard.Upon pick up my vehicle $700 I was informed that the sound, that was now aparently heard, should probably dissappear soon.Driving home the steering wheel locked and the vehicle turned off. Shortly after it started smoking under the hood. I called the manager/owner and was told that there was nothing that they can do, becauae they didnt have the vehicle to look at and they did not perform work on my steering.

We have a german & swedish vehicles. It does not matter which we take there these guys are awesome. Straight forward, helpful, informative, and just great folks to deal with. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Which includes my 1968 Saab
