My kids gave me a surprise birthday party on Sunday. It was great! Havent been bowling in a few years, forgot what fun it is. The bowling alley is very clean and bright inside plus the owner and staff were great. Thanks to my family and to Avon North Hill lanes for a great time!

I had my sons birthday party there recently and was very pleased with how nice and courteous the staff was. Brian helped us and was absolutely outstanding! The place was very clean and organized. It was such a nice experience my family cant wait to go back!

We Love this bowling alley! It is always clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They have taking every COVID precaution to make our family night out as safe as possible. Also, they serve the disabled community with fun events and accommodating a special needs bowling league on Saturdays. Thanks Avon Lanes!!!!

I didnt actually go to Avon North Hill Lanes but it looks like a popular place and would like to try it out! I did go to the place across the parking lot that was selling 🎃 Everything was free!! So if you need a pumpkin or gourds or some straw, head over to the northwest corner of Tienkenen and Rochester road might be some pumpkins 🎃 and other things left!

Aweful! Went and paid to have a seeet 16 birthday party and paid for the pizza and the room and was hoping to have a glow bowling party; well no one made us aware that the pizza was no longer and option and that they had a travel league and we could NOT have the glow bowling! Not only that once they had a song on all the party decided to sing they cut it off halfway thru the song to shut us up! Terrible! Never AGAin beware of this place waste of $$$$

It was cute and fun and clean. You have to order or bring your own food. You cant bring drinks. However, bar is open with vending machine. Drinks and food are cut off at 10 pm

Super clean and cared for bowling alley. Lanes are in great condition, owners are the nicest guys, and I was very impressed by the policies theyve put into place for COVID including disinfecting each ball before placing it back on the rack, thoroughly cleaning each line after every use, at least 1-2 empty lanes between parties, and a foot opener added to each door so that you can open it without using your hands.

They were open on new year Eve when most of bowling alley were not. They separated families nicely. Very safe and alot of fun. Just follow the directions you are given. Thanks

Bowling alleys kinda gross me out as they just seem to be grimey. This place wasnt bad though! We came in with a very large group and had an awesome time! The man working the shoe distribution was extremely helpful and patient considering I had to switch out my shoes 3 times (I was unaware of how large they were!).

Really nice place. Nice lanes. Good electronic score boards. I was beer runner for our group. Only downside: running tabs not allowed. Either bring plenty of cash, or charge multiple times (or just eat/drink less). Either way, fun times!

Clean family friendly - usually have deals on days when school is not in session. All food is catered in so you can order pizza but its a bit slow so planning g ahead for timing is important. Glow bowl & bumper bowling available

Our group had a wonderful experience at this bowling alley. They were welcoming and accommodating to our group of 17. The owners cut the cake we brought in, took pictures of our group, checked in with us throughout the night, and were just generally friendly and amazing people. I would recommend this bowling alley to anyone! I will definitely go back!

We stopped by here for the 2nd time for kids to bowl. It is in a very convenient location for us. The staff was super friendly and guided us well with kids who actually had wanted to play. The ambience was good too.

We, a few friends and I, came in to bowl and have a round of beers. The people who were working behind the counter were on point. They brought the beers to the table, and we ended up ordering some pizza from HH. They were obviously busy, but took solid care of us. TVs were nice too. Something happened where we were short a frame (reset the lane or something) and guy at the counter gave frames to finish. nice setup.

Ive been coming here for 30+ years and its basically the same, which is comforting, yet ready for a refresh. Friendly staff, good prices on beer pitchers.

Nice to have a clean, family friendly bowling alley in the neighborhood. A big plus for me is that they have a few pinball machines.

The staff was nice, we asked for an alley by itself because we needed to practice and they gave it to us. 10 minutes after we were there they parked a group of 4-6 adults and around 8 ill mannered kids next to us. Every time one of them went to bowl, all the kids gathered up on the Alley, jumping around, yelling and acting obnoxious. Im not a prude and I dont dislike kids, and I know how kids will be kids...but...its just rude. One of the kids went as far as walking down the gutters. An employee came out to say something to him, so they were obviously watching, but they continued to let them jump all over the alley while people were bowling. Its was so irritating. What made it worse is that the adults with them just let them do it.On top of all of that the lanes were just okay. I probably wouldnt ever go back there and my husband for sure will never go back.

I went here for an event and while the lanes are tired the place is clean and the staff was friendly. You can have a bowling party here and have your food delivered from the outside. I really like that.

It is an okay place, although usually empty. It is in desperate need of an upgrade, but it works for your basic bowling. The manager is very nice and very helpful. He will work with your needs and wants to make the price fit your budget and event. They are very flexible and laid back. Its definitely not a hotspot, but a nice quiet place for a family event

Old and out dated from the outside, but nice/clean family fun on the inside.Attended a kids birthday party and was surprised how family friendly the bowling ally was. Lights and popular music playing.Bumper bowling and the ramps for small children. Kids-adult shoes. Plenty of seating.No changing table in the womens restroom (at least not the one in the back, not sure about the front).

Pizza was good. Lanes and machines are little older but when you are with a group all that matters is you had fun.

They are awesome here...they allow our Special Olympics team from Pontiac to bowl and have fundraiser. Its always a pleasure to bring the young people here to safe and friendly environment. Thank you

My great nephew scored a 300 having his 4th bday party here. The adults all commented on how well run, clean, friendly and overall supportive the facility and staff were. There was not one GUTTER BALL !! The party was a real TURKEY!!

North Hill Lanes has been a fixture in Rochester Hills my entire life! Family owned and operated, North Hill Lanes is a great place to take the family on cold winter days when it is too awful to want to be outside! The automatic scoring makes life a lot easier, so all you have to do is concentrate on knocking down the pins!

Pay $25 for an hour of open bowling. They will put you on a lane right next to a party with 9 kids who have no concept of bowling ettiquette. Then, best for last, when your time is up its up, they dont even let you finish your game. Bathrooms have 2 toilets in aboutbeing15 square feet, and no paper towel. This is the single worst bowling alley I have ever been to. I will never bowl here again.

Sad to say weve moved on to another bowling alley in the area. Im willing to drive further away to receive more professional customer service. Almost everyone at the desk always seemed rude or had a short fuse. Bathrooms are outdated and dirty, the cafe doesnt offer many options, and for heavens sake why dont you accept credit cards? Were going on 2017!! Step it up, guys if you value your business!

If I could give zero stars I would they robbed us of our money it was $28 we gave him $40 and realized we didnt get our money back when we confronted them about it; they swore at us and told us we were liers .I asked them to review cameras they dont have any what establishment doesnt have cameras above their registers?? Now I know why they only except cash and check because they rob people for a living.

I liked the nice area for bowling, it just they never turn on the cool lights and stuff when I go, sometimes its kinda dull and they guy at the front counter it kinda weird

No credit cards accepted. Its 2017... having the transaction fee placed on customers with an indoor atm machine, its unbelievable. Ill never come again.
