What an amazing experience! I booked with Kip at Woodland Rivers for our first time EVER fly fishing! He set us up with an amazing guide, Pat, and we were fly fishing in no time! What a rush!!! I highly recommend Woodland Rivers!

A great guide, Kip knows his waters and knows other guides that are just as knowledgeable. When the fishing conditions are tough he has still been able to put me on fish, when conditions were good he put me and my nephew, who was a total beginner to fly fishing, on a lot of fish. Kip guided my friend, Michelle, and she caught fish and had a great time. We had fun learning and catching fish. What could be better? Ive also taken fly tying lessons from Kip and he has definitely made me a better tier and helped me tie flies i didnt think I could ever do.

Kip was more than accommodating with our fly fishing trip! He called and made sure the water/temperature levels were in good condition for us to fly fish in. We had a fun experience learning something new and would recommend him to others in the metro Detroit area looking for a new skill!
