Susan has cleaned our carpet for years and always does a great job. Has also cleaned some upholstery items too. Highly recommend!

Susan did a fantastic job on my off-white living room and dining room carpet which had not been cleaned since 2019 (pre-COVID) and had the stains to prove it. She vacuumed, treated the stains, cleaned the carpet, then buffed and raked it. It’s over 20 years old and looks amazing - the best it has in years!

So heres the thing (full disclosure), I work for Carpet Cleaning Excellence and its been over a decade since I needed to deep clean any carpet. Last couple of times was on 2 apartment move-outs in FL to get security deposits back. I rented those small portable rental units from the big box stores with zero consideration.These days part of my job is to inform potential clients of the difference between technique, truckmount equipment vs. using home or store rental machines, CCEs cleaning approach, solutions used, etc. Over + over again without any TRUE appreciation for the apples vs. oranges cleaning aspects...until last week.Short story long, I relocated to a new Clarkston apt complex that shall remain publicly nameless for now. I asked about, and was informed of, the unit being move-in ready before checking it out. Please know that I wasnt expecting to move into luxe digs + did expect to do some serious cleaning anyway. Ive performed professional move-in / out cleaning services as a side hustle in the past with very good feedback. Most cleaning staff seriously just dont do a super good job. Additionally, I had a hard move out date from my old place + needed to find a new place quick so I wasnt going to fight for a re-clean by hacks.Overall (as far as areas + items above carpet-level), some things were passable, some were clearly not (tub had MAJOR ancient soap scum for one). The carpet was old, standard cheap apartment fare with some heavy wear + small marks. No big surprises, but I saw no obvious steam cleaning marks in un-trafficked areas, along room perimeters, or in closets. Many companies wand, BUT it could have been a bonnet job. A musty scent hung in the air, but chalked that up to the unit being closed up. I try to give the benefit of the doubt...Mgmt assured me that a guy out of Holly with a truckmount services their apts. + also offered up another unit (with a bad view) that had brand new carpet as an option. BUT they wanted more in rent (to apparently subsidize the install expense?). Yeah, no thanks. I figured Id live with the older carpet + throw down some area rugs shortly to offset the sea of beige + deep brown throughout and just tolerate.Lease is signed + move-in activities begin. Shoes off as usual (dont wear them in the house), but no socks as June temps were finally kicking up. HOLY. MOTHER. The carpet felt SO sticky and dirty under my feet! Id purchased a low-cost, but decently-rated new vacuum from Target + got through less than 2/3 of the living/dining area only to see an excess of white powder, dirt, and hair build up in the clear cylinder. (FYI, I did expect *some* post-deep clean residuals, but I was pulling entirely WAY too much junk up.)After multiple canister dumps for 600+ s/f of carpet, I was legit LIVID. I had also left all of the windows + balcony door wall open 24 hrs to air things out for several days and the musty odor had not noticeably dissipated either. Every single time I walked in the door with moving boxes I had immediate RAGE kick in between the smell + the stickiness, not going to lie.Blowing my stack daily was not a plan, and as uncomfortable as it was to have my boss come work FOR ME, I felt I had no choice. I *could* have bypassed + called someone else, but no way was I going to risk losing $$ on Bad Cleaning Job 2.0. I put myself on our schedule, Susan came and did her thing on the carpet + other items I wanted to clean & return to my old landlord: small area rugs + chairs my kids trashed that I thought might not come fully clean (they did!).10 days later here, the carpet is still rough on my feet from the low-end fibers + worn areas, but the nasty sticky feeling is gone, my place smells way better, and there is no longer a serious need to visit an anger mgmt support group.Ill be attaching my CCE invoice + vacuum / dirt photos to my move-in checklist verification sheet + asking about the invoices from those carpet + apt. cleanings as well. I would suggest doing the same if you have any doubts at all when renting or buying a new place.

They do not price by the room or whole house, but measure the cleanable spaces and will move furniture that can be capably done by one person (Susan, the cleaner, brought furniture sliders and propped some of my other pieces on foam blocks).In the end, I was pleased with my experience and the cleaning results. Wife was happy as well. I paid a little more than I usually did in the past, but comparatively, I got more, too. There are hoses involved in the process, so you would do well to prepare and move cars, etc. out of the driveway to give access to the carpet cleaning van ahead of time. We had our boat and car parked out in the driveway and had to do the valet thing stat.

My very large dog had many accidents on the carpeting. I scheduled an appointment with CC Excellence a few days after his passing. I was very embarrassed by the condition of my carpeting. Best carpet cleaning weve had to date (service done 2/12/2014). Our light-colored carpet has been a wreck due to this long winter. We wanted to wait till spring hit to schedule a cleaning, but have a muy importante dinner party coming up next week for some fish networking (I raise tropical / African cichlids). Got the free estimate and trusted to let Susan come in while we were at work to clean the carpet. The significant other in particular was very happy with the results when she got home (so all is right with the world, sun, moon, and stars again...hallelujah). I liked that Carpet Cleaning Excellence included carpet protection application in all of their all-inclusive packages--the pricing was reasonable for the Allergy package based on what Ive paid in the past for carpet cleaning for another home. Susan educated us on what we need to do to maintain our 5 year old new-ish carpet once it got cleaned (immediate attention with their spotter bottle once spill mishaps occur, rugs/mats at every point of entry inside and out, more vacuuming than what we were doing for the amount of people/animals in the home, & more frequent deep cleans...alright, we wont wait 3+ years again). Were looking to get our sectional and mattresses cleaned next. Overall the company was easy to deal with from appointment set up to payment (took our credit card over the phone).
