Easily the worst rental experience I’ve had in my life.I made a booking online using my points. I go in to pick up my rental, and the agent asks to see my work ID for my previous employer. I’m honest with him, and state I don’t work there anymore. He tells me my booking is invalid then. I show him my online account, I didn’t intend to or try to make the booking under my previous employer. He says there is a rate locked onto my account. I can see it’s locked online but it won’t let me remove it, even with a new booking. He can’t explain to me how to remove it and tells me he will have to charge me an extra $200 on top of my points redemption.Manager can’t help, doesn’t know how to remove the rate. Tells me to call the corporate help line, I don’t have time to wait on hold so I just rent with cash. Says there’s nothing he can do about the rate (I know for a fact that enterprise allows managers to rent any car at any rate, at least they did before covid). Says he will give me an upgrade.Get to the upgrade, a challenger, tire tread is gone. Agent says he can’t rent me this vehicle. I end up in a Malibu (yippee, what a sweet upgrade)Car has under a quarter tank of gas in it and smells like crimes may have been committed in it.Only positive I can say is that the agent himself was kind and polite despite the situation. Unfortunately this did not make up for the horrible experience. You’d have to pay me to rent from this place again. I’ve rented tons of cars from the Troy location and I’ve never had an issue, this one just really takes the cake.

Matt the general manager and Adam the assistant manager are phenomenal, I haven’t seen this level of customer service in a very long time. I am highly satisfied with their handling of getting me into a vehicle very quickly. I give this location 5 starts and it’s well deserved. To anyone reading my review, I recommended this location even if there a location closer to where you are. HIGHLY SATISFIED CUSTOMER !!

We book reservation months in advance, when we arrived our vehicle wasn’t there but when I say Matt the manger was very helpful and great. He made sure that we left with a good car in good condition. Very professional about it all. Definitely will be renting with them again. No complaints at all, overall Matt was really great and made sure the customer was taken care of and happy. Rochester Hills location will always get our business.

Quick and easy. We were happy with our rental vehicle. Only hesitancy was that I pointed damage to the sidewalls of one of the tires and the employee just completely ignored it by pointing out that the tread depth was still good. To their credit, the tired survived the 2000 mile journey, so what do I know.

Glad I didnt, Ive had great service from the staff (great down to earth people) to my rental. Ive gotten rental from all 3 of the staff and its been the same everytime, GREAT SERVICE!!!!!!!! only place I rent from now.

Amber Mcvay has Exceptional customer service skills. I would absolutely recommend this location all because of her. She’s absolutely phenomenal!! When we picked the car up someone in the store said they do drop offs and based on that we went with them! Well dropped the car off and now no ride due to “you know the whole pandemic” it’s been a full year!! Last time we are using enterprise!! Going to miss my government final lol so thanks enterprise!

The car was fine. The people were nice. They pick you up. However no one should be expected to crawl into a van to sit in the way back seat seat without assistance. I have a disability. It was very embarrassing. No help when we arrived either . Had to scoot on my behind. Then I was made to wait outside in a snow storm while they got the car ready. Open sided tent that was almost blown away it was so windy. First vehicle had a nail in it. Was not allowed inside to wait. Had to wait longer to get my vehicle. Then to top it off the agent didnt give me the keys. Half way home I had to go back and retrieve the keys (push start vehicle ). Not a good experience at all. Better get your act together because you are going way overboard with your precautions when you take away your customers dignity.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car was extremely helpful during the stressful time of car repairs, they picked you up from the mechanic, free of charge, got me in the rental easy, without hassle, and when the car was ready, dropping off the car was just as easy as picking it up, and again, free drop off at the mechanic. Brandon was kind, professional, had great customer service, ensured all my questions were answered, and in my opinion he is a great employee and asset at the rochester hills location, and whatever Brandon chooses to do in life, he will be very successful. Additionally Brandon adhered to all of the COVID precautions set forth my Enterprise, making me feel safe and protected during the whole process. Thank you again to Brandon, and the entire Enterprise Rent-A-Car family.

This review is way over due.....I dont know the reason, but this location always gets young sharpe team members & I think because they are so efficient, they get promoted within the company. The current manager Chad Skarjune is great. He treats me as a valued customer and goes above and beyond to get me the type of vehicle I need, and he is flexible if my plans change at the last minute. I dont know the entire staffs names, but Amber is also great. If you are renting near the Rochester area, I would only go to this location for great customer service.

I made my reservations online for an Intermediate SUV. When I arrived, I was offered a Medium SUV because they had no more at no cost. The car was clean. However, as I was on our vacation I noticed that the Oil Life was not reset which had me concerned if this car was really out of oil or not. I had to call a couple of different times to verify that the car had enough oil and that it actually got changed. I got 2 different responses from 2 different employees :( I had to keep checking the dipstick each morning myself while on vacation.When I returned the car, I was emailed my receipt. Now I should have read it right away. However, I did not. The next couple of days I was getting phone calls from this branch asking if I returned the car yet. I opened the receipt to see the employee NEVER marked that I returned the car. The employee sent me a receipt of another renter from a different state. I was upset that I had to drive down to this branch to explain this. I was irritated that the employee did not even check the license plate of the car and ONLY looked at the make and model of the car I returned! It took the manager to come out to straighten this out.The manager told me to make sure I reach out to her and assure me that she will take care of me next time. I just made a reservation so lets see how this goes.

I rent a lot of cars. Enterprise is my go-to rental company. Every once in a while, I must rent from one of their competitors. I have yet to find another car rental company to measure up to the service I receive at Enterprise. Ive enjoyed the relationships that I have developed with the people at the Rochester, MI location and I have to say...Ive received the same great service no matter where in USA Ive had the pleasure of renting from Enterprise. In addition to the above-and-beyond service that is standard at Enterprise, prices are competitive and the vehicles are consistently top notch...I cannot say the same for the vehicles I have rented from the other name brand competitors.

When I picked up the car from Enterprise in Rochester Hills, Michigan they did a very quick walk around for damage, no bad damage was noticed. Later in the evening I was loading the car for the trip myself and my wife were leaving for the early the next mourning. I discovered that the antenna was missing from the car. I turned on the radio and only had static. The office in Rochester was closed for the night so I contacted Enterprise directly to report the issue. The following day we were leaving at 5 A.M. and I noticed that the drivers side front tire was nearly flat. I had to use my own air compressor to re-inflate the tire. The car had this same issue 2 more times during the trip. This was a severe safety issue. When I made it to my destination I reported this issue to the Enterprise in the city I was traveling to. I wanted to get another car, but they did not have a replacement so I was stuck with the unsafe car. The inside windshield was very dirty when the sun hit it, it was very difficult to see out of it. So much for the clean car policy. When I returned the car the front tire was again nearly flat and they basically just blew it off. I was offered an upgrade for my next rental as a token and they took $50.00 off of my bill. Neither I feel was even close enough to cover the concern, inconvenience, and stress this caused me and my wife during our trip. I am hopeful that Management from Enterprise will contact me directly to make these issues right. A flat tire and or blow out due to a bad tire at speed on a freeway could cause severe injury or even GOD FORBID DEATH.

Everything went well and the service was good. The only suggestion is that it would be very helpful to show the customer how to operate basic things on the car. I had no clue how to even start the car, not accustomed to the “push button” start feature. Things like navigation, headlights, wipers, need basic instructions.

Our car rental went without a hitch. We had to wait a little bit while they got the car ready which was no big deal. We had a 2020 Nissan Altima and it was a very nice car. No issues or problems returning the car either.

Car stunk so bad like cigarette smoke. They covered it up with a scent that was god awful that made you sick. There were stains on the ceiling that were attempted to get out by a cubing with a scrub brush. Stains on the seat front and back. It was disgusting and shame on enterprise for putting this car in the road. They needed to charge the previous driver / renter for destroying the car.

First over all, I am Big fan of enterprise and usually rent a car once or twice a month from enterprise.But I do not agree this location is best place.I booked and rented a minivan with my daughter’s name a month ago. Because of she can use U of M corporate account. The estimated cost is around $280 for 6days.It is a great deal. I found the total cost is $500 when I picked up a minivan due to additional driver name on it as a non-employee of corporate account. I agreed $500 total rent cost with manager. Here is missed point I did not received a signed contract on–site or even through e-mail from him!!! After all when I returned a car they charged $630 dollars! It is out of my expectation. If the manager explained $630 total before I took out a car, I would rent a minivan with my own corporate account with a good price!They did not give correct estimation and did not give a written contract before take out a minivan.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. There is a reason why this branch has AWFUL reviews.I came into this location over a week before my reservation so I could talk to an employee about the car I’d like to rent for my road trip. I figured making the reservation in person as opposed to online would insure the reservation was made correctly.I specified I would like a full size SUV, 4x4, with a full size spare because I’m going on a mountain road trip.I came to pick up my car and they had a mini van for me. There was NO option to rectify this. The manager literally said, “okay! Sorry! We can’t guarantee a car. I’ll cancel your reservation!” It was honestly, STUNNED. There was really no conversation about them fixing the reservation. It was immediately, “okay! We will be more than happy to cancel for you!” I wasn’t rude or argumentative, really just bewildered and confused.So, I’m sitting there stranded in the lobby trying to find another car to rent while the manager canceled my reservation.It was the most bizarre episode of customer service I’ve ever experienced. I went from having a car reservation, them messing it up, to a canceled reservation in 30 seconds.DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.EDIT: I went down to the branch at Auburn and Rochester and they did exactly what should have happened at this location. They did not have a vehicle for me to rent but called around to the other locations in the area and found me a car! The manager, Deandra, at Rochester and Auburn was awesome! Drive a couple extra miles and go here. AVOID Downtown Rochester!

This branch is also known for overbooking and providing false information. The Enterprise Auburn rd provides much better customer service, don’t waste your time or money at this branch.

I booked a one day, one-way rental with Enterprise in the Kokomo location (1609 E Hoffer St, Kokomo, IN 46902) on a Friday(29, June, 2020, approx. 1pm) and drove off to Rochester hills, MI (914 S Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307) and dropped it off by 5:45pm. The reservation said and costed at $30 some for the one way rental when I booked it at the source and a $200 security deposit(refundable later) for the reservation. I dropped it off, all was well and when I checked my credit card billing, it showed $100 something to my card which i presume was a charge for 3 days of rental, because the destination Enterprise location was closed. I do not understand why a customer is charged thrice the amount for a reservation that clearly says for one day?Very disappointed with this transaction. Bad thing companies have an association with Enterprise. I was going through other reviews which complained in the same lines (got charged for 3 days instead of 1).

Office is hidden with no sign to indicate the location in the plaza.Their service is good and can be better.The good thing they applied my corporate discount however they held a lot of money for this rental which other companies dont do.To add a driver youll need to be physically at the office and they didnt offer any alternative, which I didnt like.Price wise it was reasonable.

Ive rented from Enterprise for many, many years and in general, the service is always good. I do have one issue with the Enterprise Return Policy. I returned my last rental on Saturday slightly after the Enterprise office closing time. However, I was charged for Saturday, Sunday, AND Monday (Labor Day) because the Enterprise office was closed for the weekend. Now … I did NOT need the rental car for these three (2-1/2) days - yet I was charged anyway. So Enterprise policy is … … too bad … if were closed, you still pay !!!... or just keep the car and use it … whether you need it or not!!! . I certainly dont expect that Enterprise stay open 24/7. Their representatives work hard and deserve time off like any of us. But this policy is just not fair.

Don’t believe this is a common practice with enterprise but maybe this location. I’ve read several reviews & find there are some similarities. This enterprise location was insisted that I purchase their insurance & that their insurance would be cheaper than my deductible upon returning the car they found alleged damages. I have my own pictures & video of the vehicle & it’s clear that there are no damages. But when enterprise sends me pictures of the car from the collision shop the damages are clear. The damages are manufactured!!! Don’t know why I was targeted but have a feeling I’m not alone & this was done before. I’m a responsible consumer but I’ll be darned this I pay for manufactured damages. But I’m willing to fight this injustice as far as it goes & by any platform necessary. Post if you have had issues with this location. Do not believe this is an enterprise issue but a personal issue.

I rented a compact car for one day. Everything was as expected--car was ready when I arrived and pick-up was quick. Much appreciated was no harrassment to purchase additional insurance I didnt need. I listened to the sales pitch, declined, and it was over, unlike with some other companies. Return was also quick and uneventful, and because I drove very little and the gas gage barely moved, I was not charged for gas. I didnt have to wait for my ride home (in the same car). On the way, the driver noticed that the brakes grabbed, as I also had noticed, and he said hed have them adjusted. Service was efficient, no hassle, and courteous. It seems that location cares about customer service and maintaining their vehicles. I would rent there again, and would recommend it to others.

The people were nice and the car I rented worked just fine. My complaint would be that they did not have the size of car I reserved (Full Size). They offered me a small SUV, but those arent as comfortable and use more gas. I took an intermediate size car, but they didnt discount my rate from the full size.

Ive rented from this a location several times over the past 6 weeks. Every experience has been smooth and exceptional. When I needed a pick up they arrived promptly. When I couldnt return the vehicle on time to the minute they were very understanding. On one occasion it was inconvenient to return it to that location and they simply directed me to returun the car to a location that would work for me. Very professional and accommodating.

First time renting from this location. Didnt have vehicles available for my pick-up time. Delayed one day. Picked up the morning after, 1st vehicle was so dirty, I refused. 2nd vehicle was not much better, but I took it. Empty bottle and candy wrapper under seats - not as dirty as first one. Less than 1/4 tank of gas. Very disappointed with each of the men. No time to examine the vehicle as I took it and disregarded every item I pointed out, but spent so much time examining after I brought it back. Probably not using this location again.

Tried to rent a car for my husband through Expedia. Got the confirmation email and text from Expedia giving me a confirmation number and itinerary. However, when my husband got there they told him that they needed a $250 deposit for the vehicle. Alright, that would have been fine if we were aware of this before hand. However, we read nothing about this from expedia and Enterprise didnt contact us at all. They claimed they didnt have a phone number to contact us at, which is an outright lie. Otherwise Expedia wouldnt have been able to email or text us the information on the rental. Will never come back here again.

Enterprise is false advertising the size of all their cars. An example of a car stated as midsize is a Ford Focus. The Ford website states this is a compact size. I asked for a larger car but everything they offered me for my midsize reservation was actually compact per the manufacturers websites. It was a very uncomfortable ride for my family to be squeezed. Never again with Enterprise.

I got into a car accident and needed a ride to Enterprise in Rochester Hills he gave me a lame excuse and redirected me to the one in Romeo Enterprise instead. Funny thing is when I came in a lady dropping her car off asked if she can be drop off, which happened to be where I had my car accident Justin didnt hesitate to say yes Justin response when I confronted him about it, his bs response oh, I dont want to argue with you! They have very bad attitude and poor communication skill, Do not waste your time and money to get rental cars there.

The staff is very friendly, they always give you a very good service, cant complain, the problem is that their vehicles are not very clean at all or the fuel tank is not full, the vehicles should be rented with full tank and vehicles very clean outside and inside.
