I just moved back to the area and recommended that my husband take our SUV to this Jax that I had used for years in the past. We purchased the basic plus exterior wash ($13) for our SUV. We drove the .5 miles home only to get out of the vehicle and see that it barely looked clean!In hindsight, the young employee at the wash entrance barely sprayed our windshield and did not spray any of our tires which should have been a red flag. He was definitely bored and had more fun playing with his stop/go hand paddle. The vehicle looked so bad that we jumped back in the car and took it back to Jax.Husband went into the office to speak to a manager but there were no employees in the office. As my husband was walking back to the vehicle, a supervisor (?) came from the towel dry area telling him the office area was closed.He showed the supervisor the vehicle and right off the bat, the supervisor said “your tires/rims weren’t sprayed”. The supervisor had us go through the wash again but this time he supervised our wash. He told the employee at the entrance to spray the tires/rims on the driver side and then the supervisor proceeded to spray the tires/rims on the passenger side himself. The supervisor also helped to towel dry our vehicle before exiting.I definitely expected more for a $13 wash from a trusted business that I had used religiously in the past. I would suggest that Jax management take a drive to Mr. T’s Auto Wash and see how their $8 wash (+ $1 for oversize vehicles) compares to Jax’s $13 wash.I understand that it is difficult to find employees. However, when the laziness of 1 employee causes a customer to seek an alternative company due to inferior service… and said customer finds a less expensive option with far superior quality, regardless that it’s further away, you’ve lost that customer for life.

Love Jax Car Wash in Rochester. Billy and the crew are great employees and know how to take care of their customers. Bill always makes sure at the end of the day that his customers are always satisfied. appreciate his extra work that he does. Thanks again Bill.

Bought the membership package and then they cleaned out the interior of my car as a bonus.The cleaning job was great and Christian P. was exceptional!! He was very friendly, polite, detail orientated, great smile and had great morals! After leaving a tip in the tip box, I tried to tip him personally but he said he couldn’t take it that they all had to share the tips. Rob Sparging, the manager at Jacks car Wash in Rochester hills is an excellent employee. He noticed something on my car when I was leaving. It was a black tar. He took the time to tell me and to turn around and get it off for me. Nice of jax car wash to rip a hole in my A pillar and blame it on me and sending me out without a care. Disrespectful manager had better things to do. The two dry guys were very polite (hope they get the tip). Horrible, horrible place. Dont waste your money on a place thats ran with the lack of ethics and morals. Note: Jax has avoided me for a year after telling me theyd fix the issue, they have done nothing to remedy the issue they caused. Must be nice to walk over the small guy and not look back.

Paid for detailing of Versa, in May. Had to reschedule, twice, because of work scheduling, but was excited to go in today and get my car detailed. When I got there, they informed me that it would be $60 more because of dog hair. Mind you, I use a hammock-type back seats protector, in my backseat, so there was very little hair on my backseat and some hair on the one front seat on the floor, but not $60 worth. Unfortunately, I did not get my car clean today; I got my money back and will never return to this establishment.

Love this place. Only thing I would change is having more people out there that dry the car better after the wash. To many streets on windows so I end stopping to do them myself.

I don’t normally tip since the prices went up but when Bill O, quality inspector dries your car YOU TIP. It’s almost a no drop guarantee like back in the day when they did door jams.

This location is my favorite. The equipment must be newer, or updated, because my car always comes out clean and mostly dry before the towel guys finish the job and, my tires come out looking amazing.

First time here, last time here. The wash tunnel ripped my rear fender flare right off. The vacuums for cleaning also have no power and couldn’t even suck up small pieces of salt.

I have been to several Jax and this is the best one. The staff is quick but they do a great job on the car. Makenna has been one the cleaners and always goes above and beyond. Great job everytime.

Used the manual wash. Soap was out. Vacuums we’re plugged mostly. I ALWAYS feel ripped off at this Jax no matter what service. Told the manager and he didn’t even offer back my 5 bucks wasted here. Don’t use Jax.

Ive been an Unlimited Club member of Jax Car Wash for nearly 3 1/2 years. Having both the exterior and interior done. I drive for Uber part time. When one of my riders says to me, This car looks brand new. It looks great. I can only attribute this to McKenna D. and her crew at the Rochester Hills Jax location.Without Makenna D. and her crew going through great lengths to get my vehicle to look brand new, I dont have the success I do driving for Uber. Why? Impressions make a difference when transporting riders from point a to point b. They should feel comfortable in a car thats clean, safe, and doesnt smell of BO.I appreciate and high props for Makenna D. and her crews efforts in keeping my car looking brand new!!!

Front staff is real friendly! Machine staff are efficient at moving vehicles through.Good dryers at the end are really hard to find it seems.

Very unprofessional people! My car rear bumper fell off while going through automated drying process. On inquiry, found that it has had several people have their bumper fallen off. I went to Maaco car repair and the lady there told me that she had one other customer with bumper falling off after carwash at jax. I have washed my car for 5 years but never had a similar issue. Their dryer is not touchless there which is the main issue, so it ripped off my bumper. Also they have their number, email etc saved in their directory as a regular member, yet no one informed me about a missing bumper from their videos until I found out myself on reaching home and calling them next day.Also staff is very rude and they dont care about you or your car. I once told a guy to clean my whitewalls behind my tires and he said he had no time and that there were other cars behind me although my service included all these services.

The service is good and quick. Expensive but overall experience is very good.

In the past, Ive always liked Jax. The last few times were extremely poor quality in detailing. After paying $66+ for 3 full service washes (buying 3 full service or becoming a monthly member was the ONLY way to get full service btw) I have to spend my own time cleaning this car!?! Im disappointed. Blame it on being short staffed or Covid, they need to do better. Yet I still get a BS quality check card. If youre that busy, great! Youre making money so pleaseHIRE more people or pay them more. Idk. See pics immediately after full service. Btw, towel kid was nice but busy and clearly worried. Sales woman very nice too.

I am extremely disappointed and actually embarrassed to say I pay for a monthly membership at Jax car wash. Almost EVERY TIME I get a full service I have to go home and wipe down the inside of my car some more or pull over to their self vacuuming port and vacuum my car out because they do such a careless job. I tip well and I’m extremely nice to the staff. I don’t know what it is but I’m over it! I’m over them not caring yet taking money from me every month for membership.Today I spent $161 to have my fathers car detailed as a Christmas gift. I was super excited to pick it up just for me to be HORRIBLY disappointed. When I saw my fathers car and the horrible job they have done I wanted to cry honestly. Kaitlyn (cashier) was SUPER SWEET, SUPER apologetic as she did the walk through with me after the detailed she could see why I was in shock and incredibly disappointed. Though her words were appreciated there was nothing she could do. The level of “carelessness” from this location and they way they treat your cars is beyond belief. I will be canceling my membership Monday morning.

Best car wash Ive ever been to In My Life and Im not joking

The managers at this location are entirely unprofessional. They are clueless on how to run a company. There is a very specific man who works there that makes me extremely uncomfortable. The teenagers that work in the front in the afternoons are constantly on their phones. I will say the people in the booth are extremely nice and professional along with the front desk girl. Full service staff is also extremely friendly. with all that being said I will never return due to the management solely.

Great service like always. According to their website as of 8/27/20 theyre only cleaning interiors for members of the unlimited club, luckily I was able to renew mymembership online. If youre not an unlimited club member you can still use the free self serve vacuums, some of the guys working there said that a lot of people were becoming unlimited members to get their interior cleaned and would then cancel before the payment for the following month. Anyways, great service as always. The routine is a little different now with COVID but still 100% satisfied.*****Dont forget to tip the team members who clean your car*****

Not sure what happened to this Jax location. They used to give the best washes around. Since their upgrade the quality appears to have decreased. Have had to run it through twice the last few washes. The location on Walton seems to do a better job with the quality of the wash.

The kids that set you up in the car wash never listen. Not that hard to hit the wheelhouses.

Horrible car detailing service. Use it just for outside car wash. But never go there for detailing business. They dont even wash the carpet well. My car wasnt that bad and decided to gave them a try since they are next door to me. I was very disappointed that seats were exactly the way it was. Floor mat was still dirty. I told them to fix the seats at least. They just wiped down a spray and towel. Lol. I just laughed out loud and left. Didnt expect that from a so called professional place as they advertise themselves to be. Manager was sooo lazy and whatever type of person, didnt even care if customer satisfied or not. Its all good though. I lost few hundreds but I will take my business somewhere else next time.

Extremely disappointed!!! I actually just signed up for the monthly member ship which is will cancel now because they did a horrible job that don’t even deserve a one star. The back seat and floor was not vacuumed at all. I did not check until I got home!! They said they they will wipe the dashboard and they did horrible wipe. A big scratch on my car from the outside. So so disappointed. This has been the worse car wash experience ever. I recommend not going there and if you go there make sure to go over everything they did. Very bad job!!

Sad that my truck doesnt get really clean. The tailgate stays dirty. Employees that were drying were very unpleasant and no effort to dry anything. Need management to step up. Lots of staff just standing around on a busy day.

Good wash quality; bad user experience.First, to be frank, this place has a pretty good car washing machine and it washes my car clean. However, my experience is far from customer friendly.To begin with, the entrance is poorly designed. There are 3 lanes to enter. But after the entrance point, the left two lanes are for full services and only the right lane is for exterior wash. Cars have to merge after the entrance and that is chaotic. Many drivers, especially the club members drive aggressively.While there are plenty of staffs walking around to collect money, but no one is directing the chaotic traffic after fees have been collected!Furthermore, my vehicle is actually damaged by the wash. the door belt trim is washed off. (see the photo). After realizing the missing part, I immediately went back. I am pretty sure the part is still somewhere in the washing line, the customer service was not helpful and unable to retrieve my part.In sum, this place makes me uncomfortable. I dont recommend this car wash.

Paid 26 bux to get my car cleaned, the vehicle even got inspected before I took off, come to find out they never cleaned around my center console where there was coffee spilled and my passenger seat where there was a coffee spill. How you gone clean a car and not wipe down the seats, Or the most important part of the car, the Center console of the car. These guys run a tight operation, I will give them a chance to make it right.

The salesperson that walked me through the monthly sign on was not clear about how the process works.I have since been there twice and each time left without getting the service I needed.Both times the managers have not been helpful. The second time I pulled into a bay to wait for the manager to show and they never did so I l left.Not a professionally run operation.

I wish i could leave 0 stars. DO NOT COME HERE. I paid money to get my car scratched.While driving home after my first ever full service wash at Jax i noticed that the windshield had some soap residue on it. After cleaning it myself and taking a better look at it, i noticed that my window tint was scratched pretty badly. After a couple of phone calls, i was able to meet the Rochester location manager Brent. All i was told is that Jax is not responsible for any damages done to any aftermarket equipment and that they did not do it. I was however offered some wash and detailing passes to make up for the damage but i refused to take them because i want them to pay for the tint instead and there is now way i am taking my car there ever again. A few days later i was invited to look at the camera footage which showed nothing but people drying the outside of my car. I was once again told by Brent that they did not scratch the tint and the camera footage proves it which it obviously doesnt since you cant see anything. The following day i got a call from the Jax manager, Shawn. It seemed like he was interested in resolving this with me but in the end, i was once again told that they did not do it and they will not pay for the replacement of the tint. I am now out 250 dollars. Please save yourself time, money and nerves and take your car somewhere else.

One of the only washes around in the area that has monthly option and multiple locations. Try to go at a non busy time also.

Have 3 cars on the Unlimited Club plan

Mixed emotions here! Brand new to the area and this car wash. Joined the Unlimited Club. Great experience with friendly guy helping me to enter at the Unlimited gate. But then a very bad experience where the other two lanes merge in at the car wash entrance. Young lady directed traffic but the guy who was going in front of me from another lane came VERY close several times to backing into me. I had nowhere to go and it was very stressful. Wash was great. But then almost had cars hitting me from behind because cars were just piling up outside the wash exit to get dried. Saw a couple dry guys scurry to direct traffic there, so it was a close call. Again stressful! I will never go there on a weekend after a rainy period again. If it’s busy, I will avoid.

This location has some of the rudest laziest employees. Their vaccum very low sucking pressure. The brushes inside are bare therefore causing scratches on new paint job.

I went for a car wash here today and then on reaching home I realize that the entire front portion of my car wasnt washed at all. It came out all dirty like it was before. It was untouched in the front. Unreasonable and horrible customer service where the guys in the front who cloth dry the car never even told me about it.

I didn’t know the first time you come for a wash for the day and go back for a second wash that you forgo your interior cleaning if you didn’t get it done the first time but they were super nice and let me get my interior done! My car looks great!

I havent been to Jax in while but I was very disappointed to find out they stopped interior cleaning unless you had some type of subscription package which I dont want. Jax was my go to car wash for interior cleanings, but not anymore. And $9.00 for a regular wash plus tip? No thanks.

This is by far the worst operated location for Jax. The people are extremely unprofessional and the worst at giving directions. The location on Walton road in Auburn Hills is ten times better. This is the last time I will be going to this location as an unlimited club member.

How are you going to plaster all over your website that you do interior cleaning, then when the customer gets there, say it is only for those with unlimited membership? Maybe you should put that on your website. Joke of a business

I cannot believe the amount of time and money Ive had to waste canceling a subscription with this company. Lets just say I went to get ONE car wash, and now here I am 2 months later and spent almost fifty dollars. I tried to cancel it twice, and after explaining to multiple associates that I did not in fact want a subscription and the sales associate that signed me up mislead me and took advantage of the fact that I was in a rush, but refused to even consider giving me a refund. Please keep in mind that I never used the subscription. Dont use this carwash, literally any other one in Michigan is better.

My favorite car wash to ever be established. I have been coming here for 30 years when they used to display a car on the rotating floor. Good memories in this place. The self wash is also good

The attendants have always been very helpful and friendly if you encounter any issues. I visit this car wash often, and personally, I have not had any issues. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Good car wash free wash on your birthday

Truck went through on Dec 29th 2020, felt a loud hit during the first part of the car wash. Shortly after, all my sensor fault lights turned on. Dealership said wheel sensor and wiring harness was ripped out. Tire went flat shortly after. No help to offset cost. Also, lately my truck has not been getting cleaned all the way. Canceled service.

I was really impressed with one attendant. I had a container of soup on the floor that leaked thru the bag. After cleaning the carpet, he placed a cloth on the floor before placing the container back. I wish I had gotten his name. He really went above and beyond.

Every time I go I love the service I just wish that they had interior detailing as well so I wouldnt have to drive to another one

This carwash is so thorough. Whether just exterior or full detail they do it right. Wont take my truck anywhere else. All workers I came in contact with were nice and helpful. Free vacuuming as well

This is the car wash place! The normal washes arent too bad on price and they do a great job. The full detail is a tad pricey but it comes with free washes for 30 days and it looks like a brand new car when its done. Dont bother with a 5 dollar wash if you can avoid it, use Jax!
