I have been going to Sports Clips for years, but am new to the area so this is my first time at this location. Got a pretty subpar haircut, and then was charged for the MVP, even though I just got a basic haircut, at checkout. When I asked why I was being charged for an MVP, they told me it was an additional charge because I was a new client. So now not only did I pay extra, but I now have to find a new barber to try to fix the haircut I received here. I would highly recommend finding a different place to get your hair cut.

Both the Salem and Roanoke locations are very professional, friendly and helpful. Sport Clips will give you an amazing haircut!

Took my son to get a hair cut and a line up. Very fast and poor service. He left with hair all over his shirt and inside his mask! She never brushed it off. She also did not use scissors and there were so many long hairs sticking up! She did not edge off the back of his neck and she charged $28 for the cut. I called later and she told me that was the price for a hair cut.

Ive been here twice. Gotten great haircuts both times.I recommend them highly.I also recommend that you reserve your time online and opt to get to text message notification. Makes the whole process quick and painless. Not something easily come by in todays climate.Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

My boyfriend went in to get a haircut around 2 oclock on March 15, 2021 and the woman who cut his hair did an absolute horrible job and she sounded like she was stoned. She was telling him how she was on the verge of getting fired and was begging him to sign a survey the whole time. I never leave reviews unless i absolutely feel the need to but she butchered his hair.

This location is LGBTQ+ / gender non-conforming friendly. They made no assumptions and didn’t use pronouns. This was my son’s first trip to a barber shop and he had a wonderful experience.

My father likes to get his hair cut every month. Since the pandemic he has not been able to get his hair cut. For the last 4 years every month we drive out of our way to get his hair cut. When sports clips opened back up that day. We went bye the barber shop( and calling it a barber shop is an insult to real barber shops). We was told I would need to make him an appointment. They refused to let me do it right then and there. I was referred to the APP that doesnt allow this feature either. I have called everyday for the past week 5 to 8 times a day to get voice mail. I leave a voice mail everytime stating why I am calling and the need for a call back. No one has called back. I went to sports clips and asked again to make an appointment to be told I need to call. So while standing there I called and tried to make the appointment and they didnt answer the phone . I seriously called while standing outside the shop. My dad is military and elderly and has early onset dementia. The 1 thing he can consistently remember that he wants to do is ruined. One by the pandemic and Two by the rude employees. I have never liked sports clips but my dad does. I wouldnt be writing this review of it didnt mean alot to him. Like I said every month for 4 years I have taken him there for his hair cut and the rudeness of the employees is unreal. To the point when I take him I stand outside and wait for him to get done. If I didnt think he would realize it. I would have by now taken him somewhere that values their customers. The only reason for 1 star is because it wont allow a review to be left without one. Because if it did. I would leave it with no stars.

My son just went to Sports Clips todayand told the girl exactly what he wanted. She did not listen to him and used the wrong blade. She cut his hair down to nothing and said oops sorry????He is horrified. She did not make him pay, but she left him with a horrible haircut. Now he will need to go to a salon and get it fixed. I do not recommend this Sports Clips to anyone.

If you work out of state they will not cut your hair. This is discrimination. Skip this dump.

Walked in and I said hello to the woman. She didnt say hello back. I asked her name and she said Tammy. I said ok and asked if I could get my hair cut right away (I was in a rush). Tammy gave me a weird look and walked to the back. I smiled and said hello to another woman and she ignored me too. I smiled and said hello again and she didnt return my smile or say hello. Instead she looked at me weird too like Tammy had and just stared at me.I walked out. If you enjoy being ignored and treated like youre a weirdo, come to Sport Clips. I dont know if those 2 women were new hires, but I left feeling horrible.

I cannot remember her name but a very nice girl cut my hair, since i was a first time customer i was upgraded to the MVP experience free of charge. This includes hot towel/face massage, shampoo/scalp massage, leave in conditioner/styling, and a back/shoulder massage. This service is well worth the normal 24.00 price but getting it for free was an added bonus. She also recommended some products that would help with some scalp issues i have as well as some products to maintain my beard. I will be returning for my next cut as well. Thanks to the girl who cut my hair hopefully youre there next time i need a trim.

Been going to sports clips locations for 5 years. The volume of customers they experience daily makes the workers more experienced and more efficient then conventional shops. Great staff and haircuts. Everytime.

Have been to these franchises before elsewhere and gotten good results. There may be short wait, but there are several stylists on staff, so it moves along. I had an atypical request and my stylist was eager to do it for me and I loved the result. Great spot with a modest wait most times.

Took in a wiggly 2 year old that does not like to get his hair cut at all. Diana the manager was on duty, she was very patient and professional. We left very satisfied and without too many tears, will definitely be back.

Showed up at 525 and walked into 3 stylist,lol staring straight at the clock instead of telling me hello and welcome to.. they all 3 continued to look at the clock and as i approached I had to ask if i can sign in i was told that at 525 on a Saturday wth 2 people in front of me that i was to late to get a hair cut, so not a single stylist, hardly, had enough time in 35 min to cut hair? ive been to this barbershop a dozen times it takes 20 minutes at most to per customer, thanks for making sure i wont ever be coming back, #badbusiness vs. good customer

I love getting my haircut here. They do a great job and the one time a problem came up it was taken care of extremely well. Definitely worth getting your haircut at even if your not big on sports.

You should have either appointment only, or total walk-in; not both. Walk-ins get mad they have to wait when appointment people go in front of them, and wait times for walk-ins could be 45 minutes or more. All this leads to an uncomfortable salon with worn out personnel and mad customers.

I just walked in to the shop and didnt say anything. A very unfriendly greeting we are strickly a barber shop. I have 2 girls that just needed a trim. If your shop just wants to cut boys and men hair it really should say No Girls Allowed on the outside of your shop!!!
