Robert Young Towing to the rescue!! My family and I had an issue with our 5th wheel camper starting to sink and making it not level and unsafe. After several attempts to get someone out with the right equipment, Bobby stopped by on his way home from work (he didnt have to, but it was appreciated) and assured us this would be a simple task for them. He was not lying! They were quick to get to us and fixed the issue very timely, even going the extra mile to make sure it was safe. My driveway to my garage is shared so it’s an odd/tight space for a tow truck. I tried several tow companies and no one could get it. This morning I had one more service attempt to come out. I feel like they didn’t even try. They told me “call Robert Young they got a wrecker for you”. I called and they were to me almost within an hour of the other guys leaving. I work from home and let me say Kody made this a seamless process. He took the time while I worked to figure how to get the car out. It was 30/40 minutes later, maybe a little longer, but he figured it out. I will definitely be using the service again, and I highly recommend. Fast, professional and friendly.

I was involved in an accident on I80S passing through Roanoke. The damage to my car rendered it inoperable. The State Trooper who came to the scene of the accident called for a tow truck. Codi, from Robert Youngs Auto & Truck, Inc. arrived on the scene. He was polite and helpful. The facility where I wanted to have my car towed was closed. While in the truck with Codi, I called Enterprise about my rental as directed by my insurance company. They had no cars available but said that they would have one in the morning. Codi stated that I could leave my car Robert Youngs and have it towed after I was able to remove the items from my car. He also said that there a new Holiday Inn nearby. After making arrangements with my insurance company and Robert Youngs, which was closing, Codi drove me to the Holiday Inn. Thank you Codi for your kindness and assistance to this traveler who was far away from home.

I am extremely appreciative of Robert Young Towing. My mother was in an accident and they came to pick up her car. They were quick and very kind. When I went to file the collision report with the county they informed me they needed pictures of the car, which in the craziness of my mothers accident I had forgotten to take. I called Robert Young Towing and they had Cody go out to my mothers car, took pictures and sent them to me. Cody (who was extremely helpful) even called me to confirm I had received the pictures and told me to call him back if we needed anything else. This was so helpful as getting out to their lot was difficult with my work schedule. Everyone I encountered during my experience was helpful, professional and extremely kind. I would definitely use their services again if I need a tow and I highly recommend them!

Just had my truck inspected today, my wife’s car last month. Dusty does excellent work, I was in and out quickly. Have used them for 30+ years for repairs, inspections, towing and body work. Always professional and friendly, great family business.

They overcharged for every possible fee they could make up, $75 “gate fee” to literally open the gate so I could retrieve my vehicle, $125 “admin fee” for only God knows what....Even charged a $75 “clean up” fee when they towed my vehicle after my daughter wrecked when I watched the Roanoke City Fire Department clean up the pieces! I would recommend never using them ! One Stop Towing relocated my vehicle for only $50. Robert Young’s is a rip off, legal robbery.

I’ve had lots of cars with “character”, so I’ve dealt with more than my fair share of towing companies. The only things that actually matter when you get towed are safety, having the car loaded and secured appropriately, and timeliness. Cody was professional, efficient, and delivered above and beyond on all of those things.

I broke down on 81 and a police officer stopped to assist me. My vehicle required a tow and the officer offered to call the tow company. This process took around 5 hours to tow me 9 miles. Total cost of this fiasco? $700!!?!?! ($250 of this was charged because it was an “emergency call” because the police officer offered to call them. Had I known this, I would have refused). Not to mention, my vehicle was not leaking any fluids before this interaction. As I was watching the employee underneath the vehicle, a fluid started rapidly leaking. I asked him about it and he said “that was already doing that”. It was NOT, I was watching the entire time and saw the moment it started. After I mentioned this, he went back under and stopped the leak. This entire interaction was horrible. Avoid at all costs.

They did a good job moving an unusual load

We are 3 young girls traveling from PA to TN and were unfortunate enough to get stranded outside of Roanoke, VA. We called at 6:15 AM and were greeted by a kind young man named Cody In only 30 minutes. The entire process was so easy and Cody was kind, friendly and made a very stressful situation not only manageable but helped us laugh and relax. 5 stars is an understatement for the care this company and Cody provided us with! I have used the services of Robert Young Towing multiple times in the last twenty years and have had nothing but positive experiences with them and their employees. They have towed my wrecked cars, pulled me out of ditches, changed flat tires, serviced and repaired my vehicles and even moved super heavy safes for me. When I need anything done auto related (or need something heavy moved), I call them. I would not hesitate to recommend them if/when you need anything vehicle related. Like every other business, they cant make everyone happy but I for one am a VERY happy and loyal customer and I highly recommend them!

Locked keys in truck, called them up, arrived in about 10 mins, and had truck unlocked in about 5. Very no nonsense and right to the point . I like that. Well done.....

Where do I begin.... This company is a Rip off to the insurance companys and to the lower class people.... my car broke down saturday night early sunday morning. The trooper called a company to come and tow our vehicle and said who was coming which was NOT Robert youngs towing... They(Robert youngs) show up and rush to hook the car up. Mind you i said wait just a minute because I have heard the stories about this compamy. Anywho it was an emergency tow which was $225. $225 that we didnt have. So they took the car to the lot. Not realizing the place would be closed. So storage fees added. $445 we got it monday morning and paid to get it out we got home and saw they had overcharged for 4 day storage in which we caught and they are repaying us but I wonder how many folks dont catch it or live paycheck to paycheck or dont have AAA or full coverage insurance.. Smh Robert youngs towing is not helping Roanoke by any means. They are a money hungry crooked business!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY OR YOU WILL BE SOL.... If you are reading this your pre-warned.

If you need automobile repair a mechanic by the name of Dustin at Robert Young’s auto is very good !! He is good at diagnosing the problem and with repairing the vechile. If you need auto repair I would highly recommend Dustin he is one of the best!

Hes the best there is, hands down. Our Motorhome broke down on I-81 north of Roanoke, Virginia. We made it onto an exit ramp, but got stuck there. Called Good Sam Roadside Assist and they sent Robert Young towing to tow us to the nearest service facility. Bobby showed up and took the time to inspect the coach and diagnose the problem - cracked fuel injection line. He crawled under the coach and then down into the engine compartment to check if it was just a loose fuel line or something else to possibly save us a tow. Turns out it was a cracked fuel line, so he proceeded to prep the coach for towing. We could tell we were in good hands. He got everything set and we followed in the tow car. He took us to the Cummins facility in Troutville and backed us into one of their RV hookup slots. He stuck around answering questions about food, hotels, and car washes before he finally departed. He went well beyond the expected tow to nearest facility. We highly recommend Robert Young towing — they know what they are doing and go above and beyond.

Absolute rip off racket! Charged $300 per hour to drag my car barely stuck in a ditch. Somehow claimed 2 hours of work was involved. $600 for a job any honest towing company would have charged no more than $150 to do. Even my insurance company said what a shame on this company! Beware and stay away from Robert Young towing!

****WHAT A JOKE**** Very Expensive and they take advantage of you and your situation... Poor Communication as well.... I would never in a Million Years ever use Roberts Young Towing ever again nor would I recommend them to anyone...

I less than 20 minutes from their offices on a main road and the driver could not find me. The drivers dont have GPS or smartphones. At least he had a cell phone. Called me several times for directions. On the phone, told me he had to stop for a poo and the store gave him incorrect directions. Anyway 2 hours later he found me and then broke my truck some more. $275 for a tow to the local dealership seemed a bit high, but I have nothing to compare it against. It would have been quicker, cheaper, and less destructive to get a uhaul trailer and do it myself. Stay away from these guys.

Service provided was fine, but extremely expensive. I was referred to them by the state trooper, this being my first experience having a car breakdown I didnt know any better.
