The purpose of hiring a tax specialist is to maneuver through the ever changing tax guidelines and requirements when your taxes become too intricate to do on your own online through turbo-tax, and to ensure that all of your taxes are properly filed to avoid additional penalties and fees -- especially in a tricky year for filing with the stimulus checks and evolving protocols surrounding Covid-19 etc.I have been working with this agency for 3 years, and each has gotten progressively worse. I understand that each case and filing are different, some more difficult than others, and some clients can be less pleasant than others to work with (I work customer service, have run my own company, etc), so do my best to be clear and concise with my questions and concerns.This years filing was confusing as the rep told us if you got the stimulus then you owe X (more than the stimulus itself), if you didnt then you get Y. My understanding of that statement would be that the stimulus received potentially affected our income, which would be why we owe more than if we didnt receive it. When I called for further clarification, she then stated -- if you didnt get the stimulus, we would add it to this refund. Well that makes a lot more sense, and was not what was said originally. If it was, I would have no questions, and go on my merry way. Her comments were rude, and condescending -- as to Im sorry YOU didnt understand what I said.This is why we pay tax specialists -- so we dont have to understand, but we can trust that they are done properly without being treated poorly. Next time, we will work with a new agent, someone who is not put out by a simple question. I would suggest some improvements in customer service training before taking on new clientele.

I went in to Tax Specialist as a 20 year customer from the BLOCK and I must say I was completely blown away with how pleasant my experience with Mrs. Griffin and her patience and expertise. I would and have highly recommend this folks .

They made doing taxes much easier on me, and for a good price. It was definitely worth the investment to go in and have it all done in 30 minutes!

AvoidWhat can I say, simply unprofessional.Not only did they screw up on my tax return, but then after it was realized, they screwed up on the amended return as well.I simply dont understand how a specialist could be so incompetent.We went to the Tax Specialists thinking it would make my life a little easier by me not having to do our taxes anymore...wrong.The most frustrating part of this whole experience (that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars in taxes that I should not have been liable for) is their total lack of concern towards correcting their own mistake.

Have been going here now for two years and work with Sue. She seems to know what she is doing and is good at it. Price is very good for the service. I have referred others here as well. I will keep going.

I have had my taxes done by The Tax Specialists since 1997 and am very pleased with the service they offer. I cant believe what other people pay at other places. By far one of the cheapest places for quality service.

Has been doing my taxes for years. Great tax professionals​ and and staff. They are highly skilled and experienced in tax preparation. Living 300 miles from them makes​ no difference

Very nice ladies, Sue was very friendly. However this was the most expensive tax place I have ever been to. They charged me for services that took less than an hour that cost me 15 hours to earn at my job. :(

Truly a great service for a great price. I will be returning to have them do my taxes next year.

I have had my taxes done there on and off since 2003. I dont know why I have tried other places because the service, knowledge, and price cant be beat.
