My son Kiernan has loved going here to learn and to catch up. He has come home many times excited about what he learned each day. He loving the points he gets to earn. Certainly a great way to go if you are on the edge of seeking help with your student exceeding.

My son has loved going to Sylvan. The teachers and director are awesome. We’ve noticed a big improvement in his reading in the little time he’s been there. I only wish we had known about this place sooner!

We met with Rose last week. Rose was great and explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. Our son is very excited to go.

This program finds the root of the problem and builds from there. Builds self confidence and teaches them in a way they don’t feel pressured and aren’t realizing that they are learning!! Brilliant!!

My 6 year old daughter loves going to Sylvan. It’s nice knowing she’s learning a lot this summer to help her with first grade!

The director here should be investigated. There is no compliance with fire safety codes, or student to teacher ratio. Sylvan is dedicated to professionalism... show it!

My 6th grader has only been attending for a short while. She really enjoys her time there and has shown quick improvements! No question she’ll be ready for Junior High with their help!

The Sylvan Learning Center in Riverton has been awesome working with my 1st grader. They have shown great patience and willingness to help him with his reading struggles. They have taken the time to get to know him and have shown true interest in helping him become successful.

My child has grown so much in the couple months she has been going! We are very grateful that during this pandemic they are still there with face time meetings with awesome teachers to continue helping my child. She has shown so much growth! I love this place!!! Its good to know people still are out there making sure the kids can learn while they cannot be in class!!!

Kaylee is an incredible person and powerful coach for my Matteo. She cares about her students success in and out the classroom. The program is not cheap, but the results have been worth every penny. Kaylees personal touch has made Sylvan something we look forward to, which was not the case with other programs we previously tried. Totally worth the time and money for my kiddos successes.

Rose, Kaylie, Frances, and London have been amazing to work with. My son loves Sylvan and is gaining his confidence back. We started using the live chats during this crazy time and it has been smooth and so easy. I am impressed with the sessions and I see the value of taking my son to Sylvan. We love sylvan, he is on an IEP and we weren’t seeing much progress and decided to try sylvan. He is making so much progress and so many people outside our family can tell how far he’s come since starting sylvan. Rose is always happy, gives us great progress meetings. My son LOVES Michelle, he comes home from sylvan and says Michelle is so nice and helps him learn. He never complains about having to go and always come home happy.

My sons reading level was a full grade behind and over the summer the Sylvan teachers helped him catch up. Now is reading where he should be and he has confidence in himself. Thank you, Sylvan!

My daughter has loved going to Sylvan and has progressed rapidly. Sylvan has some great teachers like, Mr. Mike & Daniel, who really have made my daughter feel comfortable and provide a safe learning environment to excel her learning. We came to Sylvan because my daughter was struggling with reading in kindergarten. We were not sure what to expect but the staff was wonderful at walking us through the progress and the progress she has made. She is now reading at almost a first grade level. I am thankful for this group as they have shown my daughter how to love learning...she just loves Mrs Michelle and all the fun she has.

We decided to enroll my daughter for the Summer in hopes she could get caught up before the school year. From our first meeting with Rose, we instantly felt welcomed and confident they could help our daughter. She suffers from a brain injury, and Rose made you feel that they would still be able to get her caught up, even with that obstacle!

I was so unimpressed with this place. Now that my son has completed 2 months at another tutoring facility it is apparent how poor the quality is at sylvan Riverton.

Sylvan has really helped my daughter! She was behind several grades and now thanks to Sylvan shes right on track with her current grade level and beyond! Plus our whole family loves the staff there! Very friendly and encouraging!

My 1st grader started at sylvan because she was struggling with her reading and confidence at school. She completed her time there and we have seen so much growth in both areas. The teachers were great with her and she definitely improved.

The staff at the Sylvan location in Riverton is incredible! From the moment we walked through the doors we knew this was the right choice for our child. He is looking forward to his first day and hasnt stopped asking when we can take him back!

I am very impressed with the personal care and concern they have for my daughter to be successful in all areas of her life. All of my experiences with Sylvan Learning Center have been positive ones! The atmosphere there is amazing, the kids are excited to be there, and all of the parents have been happy to see their children improving. As a teacher at Sylvan, I have experienced the joys of seeing kids come to truly love learning, along with their improving test scores and enhanced study skills. I have met with parents that have talked about the miracles theyve seen through the Sylvan learning experience. I feel that any student, whether behind in school or just wanting extra practice, will benefit from their experience at Sylvan. I cant imagine where my son would be without Sylvan. A while ago, I left parent teacher conferences at the school near tears feeling overwhelmed. I had a meeting with Sylvan the next day and left with a plan of action and plenty of hope. Justine has made personalized plans just for my son and the struggles hes having. They are aware of each childs struggles and have the resources to get them the individual help they need.

Met with rose...she was wonderful and explained everything to us and went over any questions we had. Our daughter asks everyday when she can go back!!

I have had a great experience with the Jordan Sylvan Learning Center. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. My daughter really struggled with math and was two grade levels behind. After coming to Sylvan for about two months, she has improved tremendously. Her teacher has commented on how far she has come in so short of time. My daughter comments on how much she loves her teachers at Sylvan and how happy she is to go there each week. It has definitely been worth the money as her education is worth the investment to improve her future. I would definitely recommend Sylvan Learning Centers to anyone!

As an employee of Sylvan Learning Center for the past six months, Ive been impressed with the growth of its students,the empathy of its directors, and the proficiency of its teachers.Ive seen students gain confidence as subjects that they used to struggle with became easy. My youngest sister has been taking a Study Skills program at Sylvan for the past few months. Even though shes really bright, her grades were lower than normal during her first term of high school. At Sylvan, shes learned how to organize her time, take better notes, and prepare for tests. Her GPA looked fabulous last term. Im proud of her hard work, and Im so glad to be part of a company that helps students of all ages achieve the success they deserve.Ive had the opportunity to work with the center director of Jordans Sylvan Learning Center. She has treated me as an equal and looked for ways to help improve my ability to serve each of our students and their families. Ive seen her dedication to each student as she counsels with them and their families, reaches out to their school teachers, and follows up with them even after theyve graduated from Sylvan. Im confident in her ability and dedication in serving the families of the Salt Lake City West community.The teachers at Sylvan Learning Center are all certified, and they are skilled in teaching a wide variety of subjects. By and large, they are cheerful and friendly, and excited to work with their students. I think it would be a pity to let the other review of one poor teachers experience influence your choice to see the success and confidence your child can have in their academic abilities. Sylvan Learning Center can make that happen.

I am so grateful for Sylvan! They helped my son with a lot more than just math. He is caught up in school, he is confident once again, and hes happy! The only regret I have is that I didnt call sooner. Sylvan offered affordable payment plans, flexible hours, personal attention for me and my son, and knowledgeable, caring tutors whom my son refers to as his friends now. He was sad to be done going there because he was going to miss them. I could go on for hours about how thankful I am that they were there for us. DONT WAIT one more day to call!

I felt my son slowly getting more and more buried at school. Sylvan helped him get back up to speed and beyond. He feels more confident, I dont fight him to do homework, and he actually understands the work!! Sylvan has flexible schedules, all the staff/teachers are super friendly, and they helped ME realize that there was more elements to learning then just learning (like building self-confidence in your child). They worked him at the pace he needed.My son can sit down and do his homework SO much better then before. I love that he got the boost he needed at Sylvan- thank you so much!! I definitely know where to turn if my other kids start to struggle.

Our children love going to Sylvan! They love the teachers and environment. The staff is wonderful - kind, considerate and compassionate. They truly care about your children and work with you if you have concerns or issues. I have never experienced any issues we were not able to resolve satisfactorily. We have had nothing but a positive experience with Sylvan and will continue to work with them as our children grow. Education is the most important thing in a childs life and working with Sylvan to round out what they are being taught in school is the best investment you can give your children. I would definitely recommend Sylvan.

My daughter has done extremely well with their Reading program

My Daughter Alexis has been attending Sylvan off and on for the last4-5 years, we absolutely love it, I would never take her anywhere else, she is comfortable there and her tutors Francis and Daniel have become like family to her she talks a lot them all the time and the Director Kaylie is amazing I can call or email her anytime with any concerns.Alexis was scoring really low on her math tests she is in the 4th grade and after her testing we learned that she was at a 2nd grade level on her mat skills she went from hating math and crying every time I took her to Sylvan to telling me she loves math and she couldn’t wait to take her math test about a month or 2 ago and she is excelling and loving school and can’t wait to see her friends at Sylvan

What an amazing experience!! When we first decided to look into Sylvan, no one could have prepared me for the positive change I would soon see in my daughter. Not only is she doing fantastic in Math and Reading now, she is more confident in her day to day interactions. Sylvan gave her the confidence to not only tackle this new math program but to deal with daily life happenings. How she deals with homework, friends, sports and day to day interactions is a 100% turnabout. She is such a happy, confident girl and is ready to start the 7th grade!! Thank you Sylvan!! You have helped us in more ways than you know!!

Sylvan taught my son to read at his level. He was struggling and at first hesitant to go.After a few weeks I noticed a difference in his reading as well, he was eager to go and learn.Thank you to the faculty at Sylvan in Riverton. We truly appreciate everything youve done!

My son abolutely LOVES going to Sylvan. He was struggling in school and would get embarrassed reading in front of his class. He now has the confidence to not only read in front of the class, but volunteered to do an oral report. I am so proud of him and how far he has come. We owe a big thanks to all the teachers at Sylvan, they are great!!!

This is the biggest scam. They will make you feel like your child is improving, but trust me, youre overpaying them. They pay instructors $10 to teach 3 kids at a time who are paying the center $60 an hour. The teachers arent well trained nor treated well, so youre not getting good quality. They are dishonest and basically just desperate for money even if the quality of service takes a huge dive.

This is my honest review about this place. I went to this place with my 4 year old daughter who was already a little ahead in her academics. I only wanted a place that would give her interest a boost and helps her progress in the pace she wants. She was tested and when they showed the analysis to me, some things which my daughter already knows were marked as things that she doesnt know and needs to work on.When I asked Justine about it, she said it is just the snapshot at that particular point of time when she was tested. Also, when she was tested, a ridiculous $97 or $98 dollars were taken as fee only for testing, saying that it is a standard test which the whole nation follows. Even with such expensive, standard test, it could not accurately capture what my child was capable of.Talking to Justine only made me feel that their focus is more on money than anything else.Though I have friends whose children attend Kumon, I wanted to try something different, which is why I came to Sylvan. The result was only a loss of around $100, time and energy. Finally, I got my daughter enrolled in Kumon where the assessment test didnt cost a penny but my daughter is thriving in her math and reading, again ahead of her peers.I see many others with a positive experience at Sylvan, I am happy for them and wish them good luck. If you happen to have a child that is a preschooler and you are looking for a boost for their already accelerated academics, dont waste your money at Sylvan, which starts right from assessment test.

We have been EXTREMELY impressed with Sylvan. Our 8 year old was struggling with reading at the end of 2nd grade. We saw a significant difference in his confidence and reading in just a few short weeks.Our son loves working on the ipads that Sylvan uses for his reading instructions. He is always looking forward to attending his sessions. We have him enrolled in Sylvan throughout the summer for 3 hours each day M-Thur. We as parents were concerned and waiting for our son to tell us he is burnt out or was just tired of these vigorous hours. To our surprise nothing of that sort happened. He infact looked forward to his sessions and went in happy and came out even happier with what he accomplished each day.This week our son started 3rd grade and during his reading assessment he was fluently able to read a 3rd grade book out loud without any errors. We had never been more proud of our son. We are very thankful to Sylvan teachers for helping our son achieve his goal. The directors that we consult with at the Riverton Sylvan have been nothing but pleasant to interact with.We would say Sylvan was the best investment we have ever made. We recommend Sylvan to any parents who is looking for extra tutoring for their childrens learning needs. To the Sylvan Directors and Teachers we as a family want to give you a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT OF THANK YOU!!!!
