Rented a tiller, worked great. A little too pricey for the rental.
The truck rental at Home Depot in Riverton, Utah off of 13400 South and Bangerter is first come, first served. There is no reservation available. I managed to get the last flatbed truck. The sides come down - all three of them and it has two ramps since the bed is approximately 5 high (give or take a few inches). It rides smooth; however. When the bed is empty, it can get bouncy when you go over a bump or hole on the road. The cost was reasonable - $19.99 for the first 75 minutes and then $5.50 for every additional 15 minutes plus filling the gas tank. The best part was the service provided by Al. Hes an older Navy Vet who greated me with a smile and was attentive. He answered my questions and took care of me in a quick and efficient manner. We even managed to talk about his navy days! What I liked is that he didnt make me feel like just another person coming through his area, but took the time to get to know me, help me feel comfortable and provided both a service and information all within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Home Depot for having him there to provide great service!
I’m PRO for 6 yearAnd the people on rental tools is the more bad experience I take it’s only on this store they don’t have functions for good costumer service they not attentions I come 5 times and never get a good response for the attendant I know is olds guys but they need more attention for us I don’t like drive 5 miles for another store supposed here is Home Depot and need good worksmans representative
The rental department is a joke! Arrogant and lazy! 3 guys sat there and watched me unload the equipment I rented.
Had a problem with the tool I rented, when I brought it in I got the runaround from Ron. Horrible customer service experience. 10+ years as a loyal customer. No more rentals from you Home Depot.
I rented a towable auger and asked them for a drilling tip that wasnt completely round so it would actually dig without having to have two guys sit on it to get it to break ground. The expert told me the dirt must be too hard for the machine. Needless to say, they wouldnt replace the bit and I had to start each hole with a shovel and dig about 8 deep before the hydraulic auger would actually start digging.
Ron is the tools rental is one of most grumpy and demeaning person Ive seen in retail. When I went to return the drywall lift, he said the bill was going to be $2.20 more since damage insurance was required. I spoke to the night manager Al who wasnt very helpful either to let them know that Ron was lying since the home depot website says that damage insurance is optional. He was a bit of deer in the headlights and we walk over to tools and Ron refunds the amount grumpily cursing me under his breath and saying hell make sure to charge me for it next time. No Sorry I lied to you from either Ron or the store manager.
One of the best places to get small engine repair!
