I couldn’t get into this location a month ago- it seemed their app was messed up. I instead went to their co-location in South Jordan on Redwood. My haircut was TERRIBLE! Today I made an appointment and when I arrived they didn’t have my reservation and said I had to wait an hour! (Would have been two hours total) A customer in the store said she had issues with the app as well. Really!!! You used to be reliable/ now???? Don’t know

They did a great job with my boys hair cuts. Im sorry I dont remember the name of the girls that did each of their hair, but they listened to them and they were patient and worked well with all 3 of them.

Had a haircut by Gabi. She was fantastic. She was very nice and easy going and knows how to cut hair. Hands down, would recommend her.

I enjoy the atmosphere there. I have been going there for a couple of years. I love that I can make an appointment with my favorite stylist, Peyton, and get right in.

My younger trans brother came in for his first haircut and was met by rude stares and judgements from staff. There was one particular staff member that said “ew I don’t want to cut their hair”.Cierra ended up cutting his hair and did a fantastic job and my brother walked away extremely happy.

Stopped by for a kids hair cute and Kate did an awesome job! Loved also how clean and easy it was to get it. Quick online check in and I could see the wait times before leaving my house! Definitely will be back!

Always had a super positive experience with this place until today. Today will be my last day going to sportsclips. I received one of the worst haircuts I think I’ve had. Even worse than great clips and that’s saying a lot.

Took my son here to get his hair cut. We brought a picture on my phone and they did a good job copying it. My son loved the massage and hot towel on his face. For $5 extra they did a lightening bolt on the side of his head.

When I started getting my haircut here two years ago it seemed like they had plenty of attractive and fun personality stylists cutting hair here. Thats has gone downhill in the last 6 months. I do like the MVP experience but Im struggling to find a stylist I want to keep going back too.

The hairdressers are so nice and are very professional in what they do. They make sure you get the hair style you want and youd be crazy to not do the VIP treatment! I always feel welcomed in Sports Clips and always sign in online using the app to get past the long waiting times at peak hours. 👍

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this particular location. The stylists are very friendly and chatty. As far as quality goes there is quite a better feel here than other places. They remember you and your style that you like and proceed to ask several questions to ensure that they understand what you desire in your hair style. Ive been here several times and every time I feel so satisfied that I always leave a tip. Best Sports Clip Ive been to in the Salt Lake Valley

Great location with great staff. They are very attentive and will always go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.

I have had good and bad experiences at Sport Clips over the years, but I have to say I was not impressed by the service at this location. The stylists are very friendly, but not competent enough to charge $18+ for a haircut. If you arent particular about how your haircut ends up or are bringing in a small child, then this place will be great for you. I dont ask for a complicated cut (blend up the sides, trim some off the top), but I havent had a stylist here who can do that well. The location was clean and neat and stylists were friendly, but the quality of the haircut is what stops me from giving more stars. Bring in more stylists who are passionate about giving a good cut and not just going through the motions.

I regularly get my hair cut at this location and am never disappointed. Who knew that a scalp massage and hot eucalyptus towel was that amazing!? I’ll admit that I’m really picky about who cuts my hair. If you want a great stylist who does an awesome job make sure you go to Malina. I’ll happily wait 45 minutes until she’s available because I know she’ll do killer work. 5 stars because Malina is there. Just ask for Officer Hopps.

I’ve been at this location for 5 years and it’s a great place to work! I love the owner, managers and stylists. But, most of all I love the clients! This place has a great atmosphere and I love working here.

Not the best not the worst

I love this location and have been going here for years. Ive only had an issue a couple of times but the stylist Mia took the cake. It started with her asking me to slouch in my chair so she could cut the top. Im 510, not a very tall guy... Next she trimmed my hair so much that it no longer lays flat and sticks out on the sides. She didnt know what to do with a shirt collar and didnt know youre supposed to fold them in the shirt instead of out. To make the cut that much more special she did not say one word besides hello. She did not attempt to strike up any kind of conversation.When we finally got to the washing she changed the water temperature 3 times, managed to get water all over my shirt, only scrubbed my hair line, and didnt scrub my scalp at all.When I think Im finally done as she styles my hair I tell her that I push it forward, she of course puts it to the side with product and hair drys it so its cemented in. To top it all off she doesnt dry my hair all of the way so when I get back to the office its frizzy.Disappointing experience from what used to by my favorite place to get my haircut. I will continue to go to sports clips but not this one.

Got my hair cut by Alexis a couple months ago. I usually dont post reviews but it was just such a bad experience I feel like I had to. Honestly one of the worse haircuts Ive ever had. She knicked me twice, and was blatantly rude and condescending. Mentioned my hair was dirty (Im a mechanic, I had just come from work. Sorry). Just awful customer service and haircut and I left feeling bad about myself. I wont be going back as long as shes there.

Friendly always get a great cut at a great price

Ive been to sports clips before and have always had a great experience. However I was highly disappointed at this location. It was like as soon as I said I didnt want the MVP I wasnt treated the same as one who would get the higher paying haircut. My hair cut was fairly simple and straight forward, however half of my hair was cut to my expectations while the other half complete was neglected! My right side wasnt blended at all, I asked for a visible part on my natural hairline which wasnt clearly done and was only done halfway through my head. The women cutting my hair was watching the TVs most of the time instead of interacting with me or should have been more focused on cutting my hair. If she would have actually paid attention to me my hair would have turned out fully done rather than half done. Im never going to this location ever again. Im willing to drive further to the location on Redwood where I have gotten my haircut before where I know they actually do their job correctly.

All the stylists here are.wonderful, but a couple stand out for me. I really like Karen and Teleena. They are appropriately chatty and really great at cutting my hair. One should always do the MVP and get the scalp massage. Now that they have online check-in, you dont even have to wait long.

Both my boys loved it. They knocked it out of the park. They were even nice to converse and entertain my 5 year old girl. They couldn’t have been better or nicer. Both of my boys left there saying they don’t want to go anywhere else for a haircut from now on. Thank you Ashley and Jordan! You two were the best.

It was so nice to go in and have Latonia help me with deciding what I wanted to do with my hair. She would cut it and then let me feel it and style it how I wanted to do it and make changes if I needed to! I have pretty much exclusively gone to Sports clips for the past couple of years. I really do feel like they understand how to do mens haircuts better. I keep meaning to keep track of who cut my hair last and see about scheduling her again for next time. Regardless of that, I have pretty consistently gotten great haircuts from this franchise.Im even not that big of a fan of watching sports. Sometimes though, they will have motorcross or something less conventional on. Which is nice.

I am one who cares a ton about how my hair looks all the time. I kid you not that I walked out of there looking like a super model and it was all just cause of how well they did on my hair. love this place and forever going there to get my hair cut.

Haircut was fine, but the stylist just skipped over the whole MVP part. That’s the only reason I go to sports clips. She asked me if I wanted the MVP and I clearly said yes. As soon as the haircut was done so was my time apparently. That was disappointing.

I took my son in with him wanting a completely different style than I was comfortable with him getting, but the awesome stylist found a nice middle ground that made us both happy. She also communicated well with my son instead of talking down to him because he is a small child. I would give her and the store the highest rating and recommendation possible.

I went in the week of back to school. Love how you check in and can watch progress on the screen. My son was taken back at almost exactly the time they said, she asked for some direction from me and cut his hair. I could hear her talking to him and asking his feedback while she cut it and his hair cut turned out great.

Why is that? its almost a 20 minute wait from the time they cash them out.... to the time they call the next person back?It also seems like if you dont pick the VIP haircut they seem less willing to give you a decent haircut, even though you been coming there for the last 3 years! I hate to give a bad review so I’m only docking them 2 stars. Didn’t even get a haircut today because I made the mistake of checking in once in the store instead of online. I waited behind 3 other people, I was “On Deck” and stylist was getting ready when guy walks in checks in online while standing there and immediately jumps ahead of me on the board. Not the stylist fault so this review is for the management, fix this system! That’s not cool, I waited 35 mins then had to bail. I love the MVP, but sadly I won’t be back

Decent hair cuts, but good luck to you if they are busy. I signed in on the wait list and was told that it would be 40 minutes. Long story short, I was skipped over 3 times only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time. Ive had good hair cuts there, but I was very disappointed in their organization and system for handling a crowd. Im taking my money elsewhere.
