Nice atmosphere, non-judgmental and super friendly staff. Helped my teen out with familiarizing himself with their gym, equipment and some guidance on working out for his first visit. I felt comfortable leaving my teen here to work out and would recommend to anyone!

I have never seen the gym look or feel dirty but today it did. The womens restroom was out if soap. I didnt see hand sanitizing stations. The hand sanitizer by the door was out. The machine to weigh yourself is all beat up and has broken parts. All of that said, I still like this gym. It has what I need. Machines were working, not too crowded. Get in, workout, and call it a day. I dont care for all the fancy machines. All in all, I am content, just get that hand soap in the restrooms please!

The Fitness Manager Al Garcia is very unprofessional and does not return phone calls. He is conveniently Unavailable when you call. Fitness 19 is great until you want to cancel your membership. In November 2020 we canceled. In December they called for the last payment, which we paid. April 2021 a collection agency began calling us saying we owed $180. After calling Fitness 19 several times and providing documentation to Fitness 19 and the collection agency, they still insist we owe this money. Do not get a membership through Fitness 19...It might sound like a good deal, but in the end they will be very unprofessional.

I called to cancel my membership months ago but received a letter last week from Aldous & associates that I owe $140.They threatened to send it to collection when I called and canceled back in January. This company is a rip off and only care about the money. I guess the person that took my call forgot to cancel my membership.

It was pretty empty at 11am which was great but they only allow there own location membership in even if you have premium.

Focused on safety and cleanliness...mostly machines that focus on specific muscle groups, thats where Im at, at this stage in life.....not too crowded on an early Sunday afternoon...

Basic gym, doesnt usually get too crowded most days.

Feb 8, 2021: Went inside to check it out for possibly joining. NO WAY!! ALL equipment was right on top of each other. Several people working out within only INCHES of each other! And, at least 4 did NOT have any mask on!! Running the AC and leaving front door open is NOT sufficient. NOT a SAFE gym for anyone who cares about the Covid19 deaths and spreading it to self!!

Two stars, would have been one but it wasnt crowded. When I purchased the membership online it implied Id have access to all fitness 19s in my area, so I selected the one closest to me as my home gym, not realizing that that literally included 3 gyms, my home one and two others. When I got to the Fitness nearest the area I tend to shop on my way to work, I was rudely told that they dont take membership from my area. Literally every single time I try to go to this gym theres been a problem, I hate that theyre the only ones open right now.

The environment is clean and accepting, the staff are more than helpful, they maintain a professional attitude even when addressing people who aren’t wearing their mask completely up.

Dont go here. They bring you in with cheap rates, but there are all kinds of extra charges they dont tell you about. When Covid hit I put my account on hold, which is $5 month, but despite that I had random $15 charges, I had to keep coming in to dispute it and they always had an excuse. Gyms will always give you the run around, find a better one to hassle you.

I was a member here and I didnt have any issues during that time. The staff was helpful and nice. Im writing this review to inform the public regarding the customer service. I canceled my membership in June of 2020. This included the 1 family member that was a user on my account. I was assured by Mathew (who is no longer an employee) that my membership cancelation included all users. I moved out of state, and just discovered that I am still being charged for a family member. I called to explain to them, and was given answers like oh sorry the manager is not here, I see you still have a member on your account, I wasnt here when you canceled it, so I dont know what was said,ill leave a not for the manager to call you. I know what they did, and Im not going to sit by idle for them to continue these practices. So beware to anyone looking to become a member here.

I have had some serious issues cancelling my account. Whenever I call I am told “Manager is not in” Staff doesn’t know when he is in. I’ve been given false emails. I finally got Alex Garcia’s email who is supposedly the manager and have been given no response. This little gym is the worst. They have horrible staff, customer service and business practices. Even before this situation, staff was way disappointing.

It’s really a small gym and the equipment is out dated. No locker rooms and no showers. One bathroom that only fits one person at a time. I had an unpleasant experience with the Owner Al, he shows a lack of experience in customer service and has no management skills whatsoever. He’s falsely advertising his gym is opening down the street in a couple months and you could use your membership at all other Fitness 19 locations, which is a total lie. You can only use your gym membership at certain locations. Please think twice before signing there contact if you decide in cancellation of your membership you will also be charged a 50$ cancellation fee for just leaving that gym. Thankful that I’m currently at a better gym not too far away UFC and I love it.. Don’t drink the Kool-aid this guy tries to sell you!!

Great gym... welcoming and friendly customer service, clean and a variety of equipment for a full body workout. Erica who works the mornings is always on top of everything... Greeting all the members with a smile, and keeping the place clean. I love the kids club. Yaneli is amazing with the kids. My 4 year old loves her! This place really meets all fitness needs. I highly recommend it.

First time visiting to start elite membership. Solid spot to workout. Not very much space inside. 5extra stars should be given once the new location opens up on Magnolia and La Sierra though.

This gym has been amazing from the cleanliness of the equipment to the great tunes. When you walk in you the friendly staff is always there to help you out with any questions you may have. Tony the manager has been such a positive influence that I got my Mom and Dad to sign up and they love the atmosphere. Another thing that is amazing is that the other people at the gym are friendly. I got my Mom to lift weights in the section where you usually see the dudes with super big arms and chests lifting and they where super respectful and once in a while they will share a tip on correct form. Oh, another thing that is cool is that when you sign up they schedule you for an introduction session with a trainer to help you get the maximum results and understanding of how to get fit. So far this last two weeks Ive lost 5 lbs(I eat super clean and also lift dumbbells at home). Thank you Fitness 19 for your positive support. I will recommend you to all of my friends and family! So when you go in ask for Tony and see how he can help you get into the best shape of your life with this gym. P.S. they also offer a boot camp in the back. I think it cost extra...havent gotten around to trying it out yet but when my body wants a challenge I think Ill give it a try.

They have a great staff, they’re very outgoing and friendly, great trainers. Child care is AMAZING, as far morning staff at least, from what I know since I usually go in the mornings, they were very understanding and patient with my daughter that is 1y/o, since she has separation anxiety, they made sure to make her feel comfortable and safe. Now my daughter has no problem going to child care ! ❤️Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I love my Gym! I love that I can come in and not worry about my toddler, the girls in there (Erica and Yaneli) are the best. My daughter loves them she is always so excited to go. They keep it clean and have plenty of stuff to care for babies and small children. They do activities for the kids to keep them busy. I am super picky when it come to leaving my kids with people but I trust Erica and Yaneli. They also dont take kids while they are sick and I think that is important because it shows they really care.

No showers, but gets the job done. Music too dang loud!!Update: Spoke to a couple of people about the music and appreciate their effort to lower it when possible. Now if only the woman working right now would at least say hello after I walked in & out 4 times...oh well.

Love this place like a second home! Compact facilities sport top of the line cardio machines, free weights and stations, and plenty of stretching mats. Great atmosphere and I tend to go at a time of day where its not 100% capacity, but theres always the usual crowd in there. Workers & trainers are super helpful and friendly and most of all, you just cant beat the price tag!

Great place to workout! Always clean! Everyone does there own thing. I usually dont run into anyone I know 👍 kids daycare available. Great equipment too. The only thing is I wish they had showers.

Ive been a member for about 3 years. I defintely enjoy the new managers they have at fitness 19! Savannah got me my membership at an afforable rate. she was able to address any concerns I had. The other guy, i think his name is Eric was really professional and extremely easy to talk to. I definitely am appriciative of the direction the club is headed in

Still trying to resolve an issue where I signed up for the basic $9 monthly plan online then when I went in and saw the facility and liked what I saw I asked to upgrade to the Premium membership. I was charged another enrollment fee (mind you, only 2 days had passed since Id originally signed up online) and another last month membership fee. I asked the gentleman signing me up why and he had no idea. I proceeded with the upgrade because I was already there, ready to work out but I emailed them the next day and again today and have never heard anything back. I would just like to be credited for the extra money I paid. ( the gentleman signing me up was nice enough to discount the second enrollment fee but I dont feel like I shouldve had to pay a second one in the first place, and I also have two last month deposits.) Overall, the club is nice and clean. I am disappointed in the wifi that was part of the extra cost of the premium membership..I got better signal turning the wifi off on my phone to watch my shows. With their wifi, it kept freezing up and buffering nonstop...very annoying considering I paid for that password. I only used the massage table once, which is also part of the extra cost so its just not worth it for me to have the premium membership. Hopefully we can get the issue with my money resolved soon.**UPDATE** Thank you for addressing my issue and I hope to get it resolved soon. I do enjoy the gym and have never had any issue. The staff nearest the door greets me when I arrive and acknowledges when I leave. Thats a nice touch. :)

This is a really good gym and I highly recommend if you do the body assessment. Its a nice and small gym which I prefer and the trainers are very nice.

Most horrible customer service experience or business I have ever had to deal with. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, give them your information. They will try to sell you on no contract and it is so easy to cancel, but once they get your credit card or banking info they will never stop billing you no matter how many times you cancel your membership.They will say your membership is canceled and then deny you ever talked to them. Months will go by with no communication or drafts from you account, letting you think you have finally succeeded in getting one of their incompetent employees to do his job. Then, boom, $40.00 drafted from your account. This is a dishonest and predatory company; I hope they go out of business.

Employees not trained to be professional.First, every time I enter at 5am the customer scan in is never on, never. From observation this could be to allow a majority of individuals in for free per the AM shift employee.Second, 2 weeks ago I experienced an incident of unprofessionalism and clear favoritism of another customer by a employee named Marco.I go in the early AM hours prior to work. I do cardio on bike first, try to situate myself in front of TV to watch local news. There is very little attendance at this hour, so much of the equipment is vacant. On this particular day, I situated myself in front of a TV with local news - I was clearly viewing the screen in front of me. 20 minutes later, another customer with Marco tagging alongside him chooses a machine below the TV I am clearly watching, and Marco changes the channel for this preferred customer. There were 7 empty machines to the left of this TV that were all in front of other TVs that this customer SHOULD have chosen, so why was it necessary to pick and change the channel on the TV I was clearly viewing. I commented on the channel change with an expletive, both made eye contact with me and Marco walked away laughing. Such a professional.I confronted Marco prior to leaving, asked for Managers name (Al Garcia?). Marco stated it is not his responsibility to ask customers regarding such circumstances as TV changing, however I confronted him regarding the male customer he did change channel for and he stood there with no answer. Marco made the assumption that his presence is not for customer service, at least not for all customers, just a select few.I will be contacting Corporate, I will inform the Manager, however that will accomplish nothing. Therefore this incident will be brought to Corporate to ensure equality for all PAYING customers.Marco and any other employee should communicate with all customers professionally on any/all concerns, issues, requests EQUALLY without favoritism/preferred treatment.Marco should have observed more, asked me (and any other customer in the area) if I/we were watching that particular TV/channel. Simple and professional.I suspect that a majority of the people that are in the gym at this hour are not paying customers due to the scanner is never on, which makes sense of the favoritism of some customers over others for Marco.Everything I stated is factual and true. These employees need to be properly trained to respect and treat everyone equally, as well as conduct themselves professionally at all times with all customers.Corporate will be made aware, and if anymore discrimination, I will contact other agencies as well.

Well it’s very easy to sign up but they make it very difficult to cancel yourMembership…..and if you try to cancel your training sessions, forget it!! Icancelled and they still kept charging me!!! The manager has a rude attitudeand doesn’t seem to care about its members…he doesn’t return phone calls/messages. When I spoke to him about getting a credit for the charges made tomy card after my cancellation he was very firm in denying me the credit! Hedoesn’t seem to understand that this kind of bad service and attitude will resultin the gym losing members and will NOT get referrals!

Shady as all heck. They charge a $120 annual fee without telling you. So I canceled my membership. They then charge you a $61 cancelation fee, plus an additonal month. Then today I get an email that I owe them another $116 because they couldnt charge my card. Good luck!If you do sign up, use a credit card that will let you block recurring payments without any issues.Update: A month later, I get a series of charges on my credit card totaling over $200.00. Charges start at $5.00, and work their way up. Thankfully, my credit card company is reversing the charges.DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CRIMINALS!!!

The worst management I have seen from a fitness 19. The regional manager not the manager as he so rudely corrected me, has no business playing manager. I have been going to the gym for months since I moved to riverside without a problem, then all the sudden my account is restricted and failed to help solve the problem. Can not believe Im still paying for a gym member ship Im not allowed in.

Customer service sucks Riverside location. Have any problems call the Chino location ask for Al or Tony. Go to KO fitness in Riverside way better gym way better customer service.

Too small and waste of money even at their low monthly dues, if the gym itself doesnt motivate you to go, why pay it. I have been going to guns most of my life and this is the only gym that I became a member of that I never felt the motivation to go.

Worst gym Ive ever been too. The staff was horrible and didnt care about helping me at any point after I finally told them I was cancelling my membership. They told me that if was cancelling it would take them over an hour before they would have time to cancell my membership. So after I waited an hour the manager told me it would be another hour. This went on till closing time and he then told me that he cant do it after they close because the system automatically shuts down. After asking three other fitness 19s if this was true they all said no he was lying to you. Finally cancelled it after a week and they still keep charging me months later and I have to keep filing fraudulant charges with my bank. great gym

Worst customer service, the people there are not helpful. I had called to cancel my sons membership for daycare in early January and i was told I had till the 15th to use it for anyone else who was interested in the gym. I called around the 12th stating no one wanted to take over the membership if they could cancel it. the guy said no problem. a few weeks later I get billed for the annual fee and I brushed it off. this month I get billed the monthly membership fee so I called. the guy who answered couldnt find me in the system and placed me on hold a few times and had me on speaker. A lady then answers, how can I help you? I said I was talking to Andrew. oh yeah he handed it over to me. I said ok, and continued to tell her the situation. she couldnt find my file but after a few mins did. she said we dont have a cancellation form for you and I said I dont remember filling one out. she says its the only way they do cancellations. I said well you need to inform your staff about that cause I was never told that. she argues saying everyone knows that and should have been told as she basically said tough. I hung up pissed.
