This shop is by far one of the best places Ive been. They are very professional and know what they are doing. They tell you what is wrong with your car and they fix it. I thought this was going to be perfect, read all the amazing reviews and I said this is the place I enjoyed the friendly communication, truly. However... I called to request service to repair an RV. Thankfully they said they could do, as long as I bring it in at 8am Wednesday (about 2 days away at the time). So I wait. Unfortunately, the people towing my RV came late (not the fault of Jims Auto). I called Jims at 1pm to see what they could do, and I was told I couldnt be seen until the next Wednesday at 8am (one week later). So I wait.. The RV was also where I was living at the time, so I had to front some hotel costs, but hey it is what it is. Final its the Tuesday before Im supposed to check drop off my RV. They then inform me that the mechanic that would be helping me was sick, and they had no idea when I might get any help. Again I get it, stuff happens. BUT when was I supposed to be told? When I show up Wednesday morning?? They also NEVER took my information to create a legit appointment, and all I felt was apathy towards my situation that I honestly thought theyd be helping with. When I said I guess Ill look somewhere else, they were very quick to the end the conversation and move on. Seemed like a great find and then I ended up losing a weeks worth (7 whole days) of time waiting when I couldve been finding someone else, and now even more hotel costs. Thanks Jims Auto Repair. I really appreciate your apathy 👌

Jim’s Auto Repair Shop is nothing but amazing and the staff went over and above to make me happy. They are helpful with suggestions on which direction to take with what decisions that I needed to make as far as my repairs. There was absolutely no pressure in which direction I needed to take. Brough in my 2004 Ford Excursion for front and rear shock inspection and assessment. Eddie, communicated me thru the entire process and made recommendations to swap out bushings, front and the rear shocks. My truck is all original, meaning the components are 16 years old. Eddie topped the job off with high quality shocks, oil change, and an air filter change and I cannot believe how great my truck rides!! Its like brand new! Turned the job around in a day and a half. I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars. Eddie & his team are outstanding! When I had sudden engine failure on the road, I was referred to Jims through my DriveTime warranty and I am so happy that I was. When I talked to Eddie, I was scared and he went out of his way to find a tow truck company to come rescue me. I wasnt even a client yet and he was bending over backwards for me! Once we figured out what was wrong, he explained everything in detail and made it easy for me to understand, as someone with little to no car experience. Never tried to upsell me on anything but stayed honest with what I needed for safety. He has a lifetime customer now. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Jims Auto for more than 10 years. Marty and Eddie are always professional and have taken great care of my cars. Their pricing if fair and their work is excellent. On the rare occasion when I had a problem they werent equipped to handle, the referred me to a well qualified shop that did right by me.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!! They are dishonest and go out of their way to deceive you! My wife got stranded on the side of the road so we were desperate. They saw that she was stranded with 5 kids in the car and completely took advantage of her! They charged us $338 for a part that they purchased at Auto Zone for $129.99. I called Jims Auto repair and the lady told me that their cost was $310 from the DEALERSHIP. Ive never heard of repair shops buying their parts from dealerships before so now i am even more curious and called the dealership and gave them the part number that Jims Auto Repair had listed on my invoice. Low and behold, the parts guy immediately says thats not our part. The dealership part # is 22680-7SAM00A. The parts guy at the dealership said it was a Duralast (Part # DL-3002) that was listed on my invoice. By now, Im starting to get upset so, i called Auto Zone and they confirmed the part # was theirs and that they sell the part for $129.99. Even, when i called them out on overcharging me, they completely lied about it! To go one step further and find out the dealers price, only so that they can turn around and charge that rate, is just deceptive! Then, Marty, the gentleman who did the work, calls me back and gave me a long story about how he likes to use OEM parts, which i am totally okay with. I get that! But when i called him out on the part # and knowing the difference between OEM and dealerhip parts, he just stuttered and didnt have anything to say. I told him he was willingly and wantonly deceiving me and that was just wrong and he didnt even know what to say! I understand that shops mark up parts a little but this is outrageously dishonest and deceiving. If they are willing to go to these lengths to make a buck, what else are they doing that they arent telling you!?

Just got back from picking up my car. Great people, great service. Price was a bit steep; I would have hoped for the service but I was wrong. $125 to tell me my breaks were squealing. Parts and labor was $130 not including the inspection.

This place is excellent. My family and I have been taking our cars here for years - actually as long as I can remember. Marty and Eddie really go out of their way to ensure you understand whats going on and provide accurate diagnostics of the problem. I failed smog and they got right to working on my TOYOTA - something wrong with my censors. Even gave me expectations on things I need to start looking at for my cars wear and tear.

Parking is limited, but its a nice shop for an Oil Change. The only thing I really didnt like is I asked for 5w30 at the front desk(because thats what my Engine recommends) and they put 10w30 in it. Its not a problem because this is California, but I wouldve rather stuck to what my engine recommends.
