I’m not sure what the woman’s name is who cut my hair today, but she was fantastic! Very funny and energetic, and very gentle with her hands. I received a great haircut, and was able to actually laugh and enjoy myself throughout the entire process, rather than sitting awkwardly in silence as someone yanks my head around. 10/10 would highly recommend this stylist! If only I knew her name

So far the stylists Ive had have been excellent. Attention to detail, and i will update this in the future. As far as Sports Clips locations, this one is the best Ive been at.

How do you review a place with so many different stylists? The one I got was good.Side note: I understand why they dont offer real massages at a guys only joint, but why bother with the vibrating impact wrench? Just give me a slap an the cheek and tell me go get em tiger. Wouldnt that fit the theme better?

Cosmologist store, this is not a barbershop. One of the biggest issues for men dealing with men’s health is a lack of knowledge of men and their bodies. Sadly Salons are a catch all meaning they can do ‘some’ but not all of what a Barber can do.This store I have visited a couple times and sometimes they do hire someone with a Barber’s license but do not allow them to preform Barber functions.For example this store offers an hotel towel that’s meant to go with a hot shave but this branded stores does not allow barbers to perform a barbers one edged shave.Instead they are allowed to do a cosmological shave which is to get a 99cent shaving device to shave you.This store is marketed towards men but sadly they do not let barbers preform their actual function.

$30 for a simple bald fade, no shampoo, nothing extra. This is ridiculous! No matter how close and convenient this location is never going back.

Ive been to several Sport Clips locations, everyone is very nice here and while they recommend making an appointment ahead of time Im usually able to get in a chair within the hour. Melicia has cut my hair every time here and I appreciate her attention to detail.

I have been going there for more than a year. Usually the service is good but on a couple of occasions it was horrible. Today was the worst and least professional haircut experience in my life. I ask for a simple 5 on the sides and back and 6 on top. The process was painful. My neck was mutilated with 2 large abrasions. The result was unacceptable. I had to return and ask for it to be fixed, by a different stylist of course. This place is hit or miss.

I have been coming here weekly for months now. Everyone has been super friendly, and I love using the website to check in ahead of time. Really helps me control my wait time.Honestly who has time to wait nowadays?Monica cuts my hair the most only because she seems to know when I am and am not in the mood for extra conversation. Betzy had an amazing attention to detail, which I loved. All the ladies have done a good job at meeting my needs and giving me a cut equal to the cost.TWO THUMBS UP

Just went here for the first time and got a great cut from Amber. I have a pretty normal mens haircut. Didnt take too long, and the extra service (shampoo, massage type stuff) made it a much nicer experience than my past cuts at places like Great Clips/etc. Worth it for a few bucks more (still a cheap haircut though!) Highly recommend this place.

I moved to Illinois two years ago and have been coming to sport clips in *OAK PARK* for every haircut since. I’m not completely hesitant now to get anyone other than Monica in OP to cut my hair, and even plan my haircuts in advance to make sure I get them done before going home to California for the summer. Phenomenal service, friendly staff, accessible and convenient store. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, and have actually referred several of my friends who are also now loyal customers.

I cant complain about the service on the Oak Park Sports Clips, always consistent with service and quality, however todays haircut I have to set apart. It was awesome! I was lucky to have Betsy doing my hair today. What an artist. She took her time and actually gave me advice on how to style my hair. Top notch.

This was my 2nd time at this location. I had to get a haircut and this was the closest tony work. I was greeted very nicely but the stylist seemed to be new. When I asked about my point program she didnt know what I was talking about. I usually go to the one in Bloomingdale. I always receive coupons or discounts. When I was done with my haircut the stylist asked me to follow her so she can shampoo my hair. I told her I didnt need one. She said it comes with it. I wasnt looking to add to my bill. I can shampoo my own hair since I was coming from work any way. I went to the cash register and the stylist told me $21.00. I was very upset. I never paid $21.00 for a haircut before. She then got a manager which was a area manager and she told me were not hiding the prices here they are on the wall. Well the wall doesnt have a basic haircut. And I didnt want all these extras that came with it. The area manager was very rude and then walked away. I payed it and told the stylist that her manager can give you my tip out of her pocket and apologized for it since I didnt expect to pay that price or I would of left if I was told upfront. After I left I called the sports clips I usually go to and asked them how much a basic haircut is and they told me $19.00 or if you have a coupon from us or a competitor its less. With all thats said I will not be returning to this location ever. They are slammers and are not up front.

Noreli is the best hairstylist I’ve ever gone to. The first thing she does when she sees you is greet you and you can always see her with a smile on her face. She really knows what she’s doing because there’s never a bad haircut job. I’m so happy I found her! Every time I leave sport clips I feel so much better about myself because I leave with an awesome haircut :)

Totally RECOMMEND LOE shes an exceptional stylist and knows her stuff! very professional and passionate about the way she executed my hair cut, she listened to every detail and is very relatable. Have been going here for a few times. Always pleased with my haircut, this last time probably the best cut Ive had in a while with Betzy. Not sure where some of these reviews are coming from. Just a quick google search and average mens haircuts are 24-28. I would expect to pay anywhere from 15 to 25 for a cut with or without shampoo and this falls in the range. Prices have been clearly listed on the wall. Arguing over $1-2 dollars and not tipping for something you pay for several times a year seems petty.

So....this happened. Yes, super sexy supermodel status cut (blond coloring sold separately) from the one and only, Monica. She’s the only person I let touch my hair, and for good reason. You can see the reason in the picture. 😉

Had a terrific experience. Emily was friendly and open to light conversation. She was enthusiastic to tend to my grooming needs. She studied my hair before beginning to cut and got every area perfect. She asked for my input, which was expected, but I reminded her that she was the professional. I was the canvas. The shampoo and exfoliating was an experience like Ive never had prior. I will return again. And yes, the haircut was great.Plus, they sell great hair care products at the POS. Try the Hard Up by Sexy Hair Concepts. Its a great product with a clean scent that last for hours.

Had finally had the chance to get my hair after the whole Covit-19 lock down and was in & out in 30 minutes as a walking in.

LITERALLY THE WORST HAIRCUT IVE EVER HAD. I showed a picture from every side from a previous haircut I got FROM THE SAME PLACE and she butchered my hair. I am absolutely furious. I will never come back here and will most definitely tell every single person to steer clear of this disgrace of a shop. Haircut was from Nancy, didn’t even offer me the different options for shampooing and stuff. Just completely disregarded my photos even after looking at them multiple times for reference.

Online check-in is a mess. Dont bother showing up whrn they tell you to because you end up sitting in the front of the shop for an additional 45 minutes anyways, while the stylists pull other customers who are behind you on the digital board. The haircut is not bad, but I am not trying to sit in the shop for a few hours.

Had a coupon for a free cut and Id thought I would try. (this was 2 months ago.) They had a newbie cut my hair and it turned out ok. Not a very smart move though because the whole point of the coupon is to attract new customers to your location. (I shouldnt have to explain this.) Well they failed to pull me away from my usual place. I wont be returning.

I do not recommend this location. They lack quality and precision. $21 for crooked sideburns and an awful experience? That’s what you’ll get as they think of commission versus quality. I would never recommend this location or any other sport clips for that matter as I have given others a try. I am absolutely disgusted with this place.
