He has added years to my laptop by replacing the hard drive and battery and generally cleaning out junk that was slowing down processing. Let me begin by saying Ive been building my gaming computer and upgrading since 2016 myself. Ran into an issue that had me stumped, and a hectic work schedule left me completely unavailable to troubleshoot everything.I was really hesitant to allow someone else to work on something I put in so much time into but Josh was amazing. I called him about the issue and he was on the same page about all the issues immediately and even offered to pick it up the same day which he did.Turned out it was a MOBO going bad was not reading my RGB fans or FTW 3080, and it decided to do it after I moved my setup to a new case with a ton of RGB and non RGB fans. He was able to diagnose it within a day and offered to upgrade it, defaulting to me choosing the motherboard since he didnt work on gaming computers as often. (This is something I really appreciated).Motherboard came in late but he was able to accommodate since I was going out of town and had it done within a day.I give Josh 5/5 on everything, he communicated often, did a phenomenal job and I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on my PC ever again. We contacted Josh to have a hard drive replaced in a new laptop after the factory hard drive gave out. He responded quickly and picked the laptop up the same day. After PNM had a power outage, Windows 10 was corrupted on my PC. I was concerned that any fix would require downloading apps that did not come with the PC. Not only did Josh come and pick up my PC, he completely restored all functions, fixed 3 virus problems I was not aware of, installed a whole new and better backup system, and cleaned up the whole computer so it runs faster. I was unsatisfied with my service. If you choose to go through this company or other computer repair companies, ask A LOT of questions. Specifically the cost of everything. Do they charge hourly? If they cant fix it, what happens? How much is diagnostic? Do they charge a pick up/drop off fee? On-site fee? These are questions everyone should ask before finding a computer technician. Its like finding a plumber, mechanic or contractor. You have to be thorough. Talk to more than one company and compare pros and cons. One may still charge you for a service that was never discussed. While one may charge you only if he can fix it, but youd sacrifice experience. Dont commit. Just think everything through and do research.

If you want to give him money for free hire him. He said he wanted to diagnosed the problem and get back with me, once he took my computer, he called me and told me my computer screen was the problem but I could use a different Monitor to use the computer in the meantime. He then told me that he was going to charge me $65 for the diagnostic. Something that he failed to mention at the beginning of our transaction. I expressed him that I thought it was a very heavy price for just turning my computer on. I decided to pay him anyway, he return my computer. After I tried plugging it into a monitor, the computer will loop around into the HP logo. I called him about it, he told me he was busy and he was going to call me the same night. At 9:30 PM I text him and he said he was gonna call me at nine in the morning But he didn’t call me again so I had to call him Then he was extremely rude When I expressed to him that he diagnosed it improperly. He started shouting at me saying he Wasn’t going to be manipulated by me and that he was going to charge me more money if he was to look at it again. I ended up taking the computer to another computer Fix business, they diagnose my computer for free, and they told me that the screen was not the issue was the matter board that was not functional. They tested the screen and it worked perfectly, they showed me. So he charged me for NOTHING plus was extreamly rude instead of trying to listen to my concern he was being so disrespectful. Don’t waste your money and time please.

So, I found this guy, Josh w/ PC Mobile Pro, on craigslist (CL) so I was very skeptical. Ive met some real characters over the years and needless to say developed a very cautious demeanor when meeting someone from CL. After some texting and a few calls I decided to meet with him and so very glad I did. My laptop was acting up and Im far from a guru. We met by a coffee shop I explained what I was experiencing with the computer. Josh reassured me of the contents would be safe from prying eyes and he didnt need to browse my documents or other files in order to diagnose and repair my computer. Josh called me about an hour and a half after we met to explain what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. Im sure Best Buy would of done that too....yeah right. Josh was very personable and responded quickly. My uncle is having issues with loading, reading, and writing emails. It is VERY slow, and there is a lag when he types emails. Josh looked at his computer and said it is not a fast computer due to the hardware, but that for my uncles use (he primarily just uses his computer for email), he should see an improvement after a tune-up. He paid $145.00 for the tune-up and installation of Vipre anti virus. We agreed that Vipre would be installed since it was part of the $145 cost ($145 was a $20 discount off regular cost of $160). There was ABSOLUTELY NO IMPROVEMENT. We reached out to Josh about changing out the hard drive at no additional cost in an effort to do right by a customer. He explained he wouldnt do this because of his cost. He said the hard drive would b $100, and he would discount the cost to clone the hard drive, it would be $50.15 instead of $59. My uncle decided not to spend any more money on PC mobile. He felt he had already wasted $145.00, so to end up spending nearly $300 on his computer without having the confidence it would improve was not a wise move. Also, and this is not an issue I brought up to Josh, but I had him look at my computer because there was a buzzing sound when I turned it on, and I was worried it was going to crash. He took my laptop and did the tune-up and Vipre installation, but when he brought it back, the buzzing noise was still there. He said I hadnt told him about the buzz, but ID DID. it was the only reason I had him take it for repair, but I didnt see any point to telling him I had told him about the buzz. He took the laptop and changed out the hard drive, and the buzzing sound is gone, but I wont do business with PC Mobile Pro again. Josh is very nice, but Im more concerned with taking care of problems that are paid for.

2nd call to Josh. This time it was printers. He did a great job on some computers a few weeks ago, so I figured I would utilize his services again. I needed support at my location and he came to me. I drove 0.0 miles. I had issues with my local network trying to locate a pair of HP printers, one of which was a 13 year old Laser Jet. Finding the drivers was easy...getting them to install properly on a Windows 10 machine for a printer that old was not working for me, so I called an expert. He got it up and running ...now...I can print!! The newer one (Office Jet) has some network card issues. But we were able to dance around it and get it to go as well. Also, he put some anti virus software on 3 machines (he can get you better deals than the website most of the time). He explained power over ethernet last visit and bam!! 7 times faster downloads than wi-fi alone. Solid advice. A pleasure to deal with. More than capable of dealing with computer AND printer issues. That local mechanic you trust with your car...thats him for computers. Minus the grease.

Got some SATA cables from Josh. He was super friendly and charged much less than Bestbuy!
