I went for my first scuba diving experience ever with my family and had an amazing time. The first lesson is really to get an understanding of the equipment and adjusting your body to using it but we also got to see some amazing corals. Our instructors Claire and Brenda took their time and answered all our questions before we even got to the water. When we went to the shallow area we got plenty of time to practice the different techniques we discussed. Some of us had issues with it and we sorted it out as best we could. One family member was not able to equalize both ears but Claire stayed with them at 5 feet deep and showed them as much as they could which was still a lot of awesome corals. Different members reached different depths of 12-15 feet and Brenda guided us through the reef and pointed out the various corals and animals we talked about on land. All in all it was a wonderful experience with lots and lots of guidance that was needed for a family of 5 on their first ever dive. Thank you!

Rambo was very helpful and knowledgeable about the equipment. We decided to purchase snorkling gear and he built us a good kit and gave us great advice is preparing the masks to avoid fogging. We really enjoyed our new equipment. It was fitted spectacularly and we have a convenient bag for carrying it all with spare room for a beach blanket. Very experienced and professional place to take your business, whether it be for their Scuba classes, snorkling expeditions or equipment. I highly recommend.

UNFORTUNATELY IT STARTED TO RAIN 🌧 😑 BUT THE RAIN STARTED ON OUR WAY BACK SO WE STILL SEEN LOTS GOING BACK AND HAD TO DO A RAIN SHOWER 🚿 🤣 AS WE RAN TO OUR CAR.

My husband and I have never been in the ocean let alone snorkling.This was one of the best parts of our trip, Matthew was our guide and was wonderful.Had a great time, Definitely worth every penny.

I did the snorkeling adventure with my 15 and 18 year old daughters. Our guide was great. The equipment was clean and worked great. We had an awesome time swimming around looking at all the cool fish. We saw many different kinds. We even got to see a sea turtle and a sting ray. Great excursion I would recommend it.

Mac was an outstanding snorkeling guide. He spent time prior to going out explaining all the fish and coral we might see and then once in the water was pointing out all the sights. Having been snorkeling and diving off the dead reef off East of Puerto Rico I was surprised at how alive and vibrant the reef Mac took us to was. Beautiful place. Highly recommend this if you are in Rincón.

I had a great time and saw plenty of sea life.Of note: coral,blue tang,reef squid,tarpon,and of course a sea turtle. Matt is a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide. I highly recommend this snorkeling tour!

This was a very chill delightful experience!! The guides Missile, Mac and a lovely lady Brenda (I think) were fun, helpful and very informative. We had a large group- but it did not seem that way. Overall a great experience!!! And you can keep the snorkel gear after the tour is over to snorkel on your own. You just have to return it later in the day. I would DEFINITELY book with them again!!!

Matt was great! We had a wide range of abilities from those that were scared to get in at first to those that were free diving halfway in. Matt made sure all of us were comfortable and felt safe. He kept everyone together and we were amazed to able to see a couple sea turtles. When our youngest little one got tired Matt helped haul him back on a floaty. We were so happy with our snorkeling experience and all the kids are already asking when they can go again!

Claire was exceptional... very patient and very informative... she not only made sure we had a good time but made sure we were safe and had a good time... definitely would book again

I did two guided shore dives here and it was great! The staff were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The marine reserve reefs are vibrant with life and color and I especially liked the giant orange barrel sponges. We also saw a few lion fish, a small eels and all the usual cast of characters (blue tang, blue headed wrasse, rainbow parrotfish). We also saw a few big Tarpons and a spiny lobster.Overall the dive was laid back and very enjoyable. Next time I will ask if they have a slightly more advanced dive so I can improve my certification.

Kai and Kaylin were terrific guides! They are super knowledgeable about the sea life and were very patient and friendly with the entire group, including kids and people who were a little nervous. Had a great time! Matthew regaled us with stories of deep dives on oil rigs and we had a lot of fun. You can see all sorts of fish and coral and pick up your own shells and sand dollars. Lots of fun :)

A fantastic experience! We were able to walk in and be added to a tour group about to head out when we came in to rent gear since our appointment had been cancelled earlier that day due to staff having a family emergency. Everyone was very kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and the experience was just so wonderful!

They were great. New to the area and wanted a good area and gear for snorkeling. They did not disappoint. Be warn though that they treat everyone like a novice and will hold your hand as you get into the water.Also, i was confused by the parking. They had us park along a road near the beach. Luckily, we were still by the road when the police showed up to ticket everyone not completely parked off the road. Why did they have us park there in the first place?

We were able to book with Rincon Diving very last minute after our dive shop had to cancel right before our class. We went out with Matthew and Mac, and it was so much fun. They were seriously hilarious and knew their stuff. Mac really eased our anxiety and made it a fun experience. We got to see the reef and all kinds of fish. 10/10 we will be back when we return!

I went with my husband and 11 year old son. We all loved the experience ! We saw a lot of sea wild life and learned a lot about the creatures. The snorkeling equipment was in great condition and the guide was very kind and informative.

It was my first dive in Puerto Rico and it did not disappoint. I was the only one to sign up for the dive tour and was still met with great hospitality. Their dive master was well educated on the area and the local sealife. If I return to dive I will for sure stop here again!

Completed a wall dive and spiral reef with Matt. He was full of dad jokes, which is great because Im a dad. We saw a ton of fish, an eel, and a hermit crab in a huge 🐚. Matt was professional and his extensive dive experience put us at ease. Highly recommend.

Our guide Matthew was AMAZING! Our group of six was a mixture of experienced and first timers and we all had a blast! The location was prime, we swam out to a perfect spot, saw a tortoise, a shark (friendly), and so many other amazing sea creatures. Worth every dime and more. Don’t hesitate to book this, it’s the highlight of our trip so far.

We had such a hard time finding availability at the last minute. Everyone was booked at least a week out. Ricon Diving was able to accommodate us and have us the best experience. Mac our guide was very knowledgeable and very patient. You could tell he has been doing this for a long time. Prices were reasonable and provided everything we needed. This was my first time scuba diving and they took care of us. Scuba diving was a bit intimidating at first, but Brenda and Mac held our hands the entire way. My boyfriend and I loved it so much that we joined the afternoon group to scuba for the entire day. Its worth every penny!

Had a fantastic experience. Paid for the Snorkel Scooter experience and it made the swimming so much easier to have the motorized machine helping out. Definitely worth it. Waldo our guide was so knowledgeable about the environment/reefs and patient and helpful as we figured out the equipment. He was also upfront that the recent weather/tides may make the reefs harder to see but we ended up seeing tons of fish and were able to admire the reef. Would definitely recommend and if I’m able to one day, I’ll be back for sure.

We booked a private snorkeling excursion. From the moment we called and assisted by Rambo to showing up to the dive shop and meeting Matthew our snorkeling guy, it was all very pleasant. Matthew was attentive to all our needs and made the time together a great!

My husband and I did the beach entry dive with Matthew and throughly enjoyed our experience! The current was a bit stronger than usual, so we had to kick out for a bit longer than usual (as far as I can tell). However, it was a relaxed kick out overall and we enjoyed some great conversation with Matt (who just happened to have worked for years as a commercial diver in our home state). The visibility wasnt ideal, but we still saw a good variety of fish, including some barracuda. This was my husbands first saltwater dive and my first dive in about 6 years, so we appreciated Matt being accommodating to our pace/needs. As a bonus, he also recommended some local restaurants and stops to check out in Rincón that we enjoyed after our dive.

Outstanding snorkeling experience. Waldo was friendly, well versed with the underwater surface topography of the location, and as new snorkelers he made sure we felt safe. That gave us the confidence to explore. He had a keen ability to spot sea creatures. With his help I saw two turtles, an eel, a flounder, and a nurse shark that we returned to visit in its cave hiding spot just at the end of our snorkeling day. We also saw many other fish including a barracuda, as well as a variety of coral types, and other underwater life too many to mention. The day was inspiring. If you are in Rincon do not miss the opportunity to go out for a few hours with Rincon Diving & Snorkeling.

I loved the snorkeling experience i had with them. Misae was an amazing instructor, he made us feel safe since it was our first time snorkeling. Throughout the experience he kept checking on us to make sure we were doing alright and also pointed out to fish around him. He was very knowledgeable and concise in delivering that information. We had a great dive with Rincon Diving & Snorkeling! We chose to do a 1 tank shore dive out to see a beautiful reef. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we were well prepped for our dive. As a newer diver, I appreciated that and his commitment to safety and frequent air checks. We saw a huge stingray at the end of our dive and tons of colorful fish throughout. It was a relaxing dive (after the rather far swim out) and a great way to spend the afternoon.

Misael Missile was an AWESOME guide who you can really connect and hell give you more than just a good time but hell make sure you experience the dive and the reef.

I had a wonderful time diving the wall with Matt. A beautiful serene place to dive, and very comfortable for a beginning diver. I did my certification dives with Rincon Diving and Snorkeling last winter and had a good experience then too. Friendly, convenient, and small groups (as small as one!) that make dives personal.

They were nice enough to let us know the weather conditions for our original date weren’t ideal and allowed us to switch with no problems. Our guide was very knowledgeable with the local wildlife and area which provided an even better experience while we snorkeled all along the shore. I would highly recommend them!

At first they cancelled our reservation then when i went in to rent gear they accommodated for our group of 2 to join the current snorkeling group. Great tour guide, she was very patient, but the trip was cut an hour short according to whats stated online.We got to see a sea turtle and swim with a school of fish and some cuddlefish

What a great experience! Matthew (aka the jolly green giant) was an unbelievable instructor and made the whole experience that much better. While learning to SCUBA for the very first time does cause some anxiety his professionalism and knowledge really helped us be confident throughout our adventure. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in their first SCUBA adventure!

My boyfriend and I did diving at crash boat beach with Waldo. I did the discovery dive so i received a thorough course (around 20 mins) taught by Waldo along with a short quiz to review the information after. When we got in the water, Waldo slowly guided me to apply the taught information in water step by step (how to clean mask, retrieve regulator...etc).On the first day we ended up not being able to dive at the site because of fast changing currents. Waldo made a last minute decision when we were at the beginning of the main dive site due to safety concerns. I could barely stay in one place let alone move forward under water, and Waldo held on to my hand the whole time so I would.not be washed away.Brenda, the owner, very kindly rescheduled us again the next morning after knowing our situation! The next morning, my self brought mask had a major leakage issue and I could not stay under water. Waldo was very patient with helping me adjust, and in the end traded mask with me, which solved my entire issue. He dived the entire time with my defective mask, constantly clearing out the water, and at times even took it completely off because of how awful it was...i on the other hand had the most amazing experience! The view is simply incomparable!Waldo is absolutely amazing, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. And Brenda was most understanding and accommodating to the issues we have experienced, despite the waves being unpredictable by nature. We had the most amazing time! A huge thumbs up for anyone wanting to try diving!

Excellent experience for my family and I on our first snorkeling trip! Ill be back soon for another excursion and would recommend them to first timers and veteran snorkelers.

Loved our snorkeling experience. Matthew was very personable and fun to chat with before and after our trip. We had a cloudy rainy morning and we were worried, but it turned out fabulous. We saw lots of beautiful fishies and corral, but the highlight was the 5 Tarpon. I have never seen such large fish while snorkeling before and I was shrieking with excitement as well as one could through snorkel gear. After we finished, Matthew let us use the shower at the dive shop and change and hang our clothes to dry. We were able to go eat lunch and explore before returning to pickup our dry clothes. Awesome all around service and friendliness!

Great excursion!! Matt and Waldo were our guides today. They made us feel very safe and are extremely patient as we are beginners and inexperienced. The excursion included us and another couple. After teaching us everything we needed to know... we traveled in our own vehicles to the beach where we scuba dived. We took 5-10min to practice our skills in the water before diving. Our maximum depth was 29ft. The water was clear and the fish are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

I really enjoyed working with Rincon Diving and Snorkeling. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. The owner, Brenda, helped me order a piece of equipment that I needed so it would be ready when I arrived. We will continue to go to here for the rest of our trip.I had a great time diving with our guide, Matthew. On our second dive I had a series of unrelated things go wrong but Matthew helped me stay calm and fixed the problems (all underwater) so that we could continue to enjoy our tour. He can help you through your first dive or show you the most challenging dives on the island.

Had a great 45 min dive off the shore of Rincon. The guide, Matthew Richcreek, was a solid and informative tour leader with great stories to share and a great tips for beginners. The shop itself is clean (also clean bathrooms) and well-attended with a friendly crew. Easy to find and they offer additional services beyond diving. Matt was very helpful in recommending other locations to dive from on the island, and his restaurant rec was also a great pick.The dive site itself (for this day) was a rock wall off the coast with plenty of life and things to see. A little bit of a current. Highly recommend, even during holiday weekends. Good Covid safety policies too.
