Great company to deal with. They will respond to emails and text messages in a timely manner. Ryan came out on the holiday weekend and even though it was an easy fix he took time to make sure my 18 year old unit was running up to speed. I will definitely be calling these guys once I have to install a new unit. Brooks, Jeff Williams and Ryan were all great!!

My husband was impressed from the first call when he was told the salesman would call him in 10 minutes and Josh called back in five. Then Angel and his crew was able to start the job early and finish within one day. It did take a while for them to come back and install the conversion kit but Harry did a fantastic job. Everyone was very nice and professional. Would definitely recommend their service.

Patrick arrived very promptly. Was very pleasant to interact with and went straight to work. Quickly located the culprit item, replaced part and had cool air moving in the house again minutes ! He took the time to explain what happened to the AC unit and how it would be repaired. He worked in ninety degree weather, yet he still took the time to cover and answer all questions and concerns. Cooling fan quit unit would not blow cold air tech came onsite after normal hours he professionally trouble shot the system and determined the fan motor was at fault. He had parts on hand was able to replace the fan motor and returned the A/C to normal operations. I was very impressed

8/25-Called with an AC system not working. David, who knows our systems well came same day, diagnosed the problem quickly, and has taken steps to get the necessary part as quickly as possible. when the part arrives he will return to repair the system.8/28-David returned with a new blower motor, replaced the part, and tested the system to working order. Great job!9/2 - Scheduled maintainance on both systems. As always, David was on time, thorough, checked inside and outside, gave me a thorough review of what he found and an idea of things to look at in his next full service and an idea of cost. He will return for quarterly service/review in December. I understand where things stand and he, as always, was professional.

While I appreciate the speed and friendliness of the service I received, I have lost all respect for this company after finding out how much I got taken advantage of on the cost of my AC repair. Shame on me for not doing some research in the moment, but I’ve now become wise to the cost of a capacitor, and the $221 I was charged for one is making me sick to my stomach after seeing online that these go for $8-$20.Edit: Please note, this was JUST the capacitor. I was still charged separately for the the visit itself, which was $179 for a weekend call between 5-6pm, which I didn’t have a problem with. I understand the cost of labor, time and skill.

Brian came out this morning to fix an issue with my upstairs A/C not cooling. After careful consideration, he figured out the problem, installed a new thermostat, and I’m in business. He was very nice and professional and I also appreciated him wearing a mask inside my home. My family have been Dyess customers for over 20 years and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I have worked with Farmers/Dyess hvac for 25 years. Throughout the years they have been professional, efficient, and consistent.Since the company was merged into Dyess 3-4 years ago the bar has risen higher and new levels of professionalism and efficiency have been reached.I operate 3 oceanfront resort properties and when I have an issue, Farmers/Dyess resolves it in a manner that is transparent to the guest. You can’t ask more of a partner and I would recommend this vendor to anyone struggling to meet this criteria.

Dave came on short notice on a blistering hot Friday afternoon in July to address a malfunction in one of the compressors. He stayed for over two hours. He determined that both the compressor and air handler needed to be replaced (they were 13 years old). Even though it wasn’t good news I know that he did his best. This is not the first time I have used Air. I trust their judgment.

So disappointed. We called over the weekend for someone to come out to my elderly mothers home. We waited all day Sunday. We were quoted a price for the weekend service call and agreed to it. The guy told us they would call Sunday before coming out. NEVER got a phone call. Checked phone all day. Around lunch on Monday, we finally got a call. No apology or explanation. When we said we had gone ahead and called another company, Dyess said, Okay. No concerns whatsoever. Its such a shame.

The technician was supposed to arrive at 8AM for the call and he cane on time, put on his PPE and right right to work. Just as he was finishing up my home lost power but that was due to Dominion Energy’s with in the area. He checked on me, let me know everything was good and emailed my receipt. Very efficient.

Floyd would not give up until he figured out what the problem was with our AC unit. He figured out that we had a hairline crack in our coil that would only leak when the unit was running for long periods of time. Thank goodness for Floyd. We thought we were losing our minds because sometimes the unit was fine and other times it would drip constantly. Floyd was professional and tenacious when trying to solve this extremely hard to resolve problem. Thankfully the new parts are on their way! Thank you Dyess Air and Floyd! Ryan replaced the evaporator coil to one of our Carrier Infinity units and clearly knew what he was doing. He is soft spoken, yet kept us informed throughout the process and completed the job in a few hours. Very pleased with his service. Dyess provided us with next day installation which was very much appreciated during a recent heat wave. Salesman pointed out the gas connection was not up to code on the old system and they would correct when they installed new HVAC. Installers didnt correct it. Salesman verified connection was not updated and made a note of it. He assured me it would be taken care of when Quality Control final inspection was done. Today when the quality control inspection was done 1.5 hours after the scheduled appointment the serviceman didnt have the gas connection part either because he didnt read his notes or the salesman didnt write the note on the file. My opinion is it was the former. Serviceman said it would be taken care of by the fall. Not what I was hoping to hear.I have mixed opinions on the service through today. In the long run time will tell. I have my fingers crossed.1 or 2 days after my post Dyess Airs original install ers came back and worked approximately 1.5 Hrs replacing the gas connection, plenum, vent and sealing the system. They went above and beyond. I am more than satisfied with the final installation. Its always gratifying when there is a problem and the company promptly addresses the problem to the customers satisfaction.
