Wireless internet speeds are despicable, customer service follow up is horrible and technical support department doesnt investigate or solve problems. Charged me for modem rental when I told them I already had one. Paid for 1Gb an received less than 400 Mb. Paid for 400Mb and received LESS THAN 100 Mb with only mylaptop connected to the internet and sitting less than 1 foot from the router. They sent a technician out once--he moved the router closer to the tv--no improvement and no further investigation as to why i wasnt receiving the 1 Gb since their tests indicated on their end that I could. They were gonna send second technician and never followed up. When I couldnt participate in a zoom call with only my laptop connected to the internet AND was unable to chat online with a windstream customer support agent because the signal was so weak, I decided I was done with Windstream.

Cheap and best! But customer care is not as good as Xfinity. They dont have any stores.

My internet stopped working on 10/29/20. My kids missed all their classes. Called windstream and I was told the earliest someone could get to my address will be the following day. The windstream rep couldnt guarantee a time. I express how the internet is needed for my kids schooling and things around the house.A technician from windstream arrived the following day at 12pm and couldnt fix the issue. The windstream tech mentioned someone else will be out to fixed the issue. I called 2 hours later and spoke to a windstream customer service rep who told me the issue will be addressed today 10/30/20, I asked if she could contact the Technician to find out when hell be coming out. The customer rep put me on hold and never returned to my call. After several call and attempts to windstream with no succeessI received a call around 6pm that my issue cant be fixed till monday knowing that everything around the house uses internet and most especially my children schooling. The supervisors I spoke to mentioned there was nothing they could do and I have to wait. There was no empathy or understanding how this impacts a lot of thing in house. Im away for work, my kids missed about a day and a half of classes. I had to use my nieces phone to communicate with my kids. My kids were bored.I was told someone will be out on monday to fix the issue. There no time frame or guarantee. This has shown how insensitive and unprofessional the windstream staff are.

Im very happy with Windstream. Never lose service and great customer service. What more could you ask for? I would not want to change internet providers.

This has been probably the worst experience weve ever had with an internet provider install. First, he spent most of the day doing the install, which wasted my wifes whole day. Second, we come to find out we will have to use a bonded VDSL modem for $10/mo to use the service (we asked the phone reps specifically while signing up and were told ANY DSL modem would work fine). But worst of all, when I came home and looked in the attic, this bozo had ripped apart my home Ethernet! Like literally pulled every wire off the patch panel! That made my home alarm, security cameras, media center, and automation all offline. I even called the guys cell phone and he wasnt apologetic at all (The lines all look the same). Well buddy, if you dont know what it is, dont be messing with it. I had to drive to the local tech office and beg for help so that my alarm system and stuff could be fixed! I dont have words to describe how terrible of service this has been and we havent even been customers for one day. Once Monday comes I intend to restart xfinity and cancel with windstream.

So bad that I almost cried one weekend because I had no internet access.As a millennial I am extremely appalled due to the abhorrent service I have witnessed in my own home. Scientists please provide a cure for this illness called windstream. As I sat on my toilet one lonely evening I pondered on the question “Is there some type of thalidomide for wireless service?” It’s apparently an unsolved mystery.They are in dire need of an antidote. Don’t use this service for internet. You will be perplexed as to why you signed up.If you choose to take on the burden called “windstream” all I can say is buckle your seatbelt big fella. They r good during holiday season though.

Probably the worst internet connection on the planet. Some times my internet was working fine and then it just cuts off and i have to restart my whole router. Its download speed is down right pathetic.

Terrible internet speeds. They know they have bad lines and latency issues but why fix them when its better than nothing for their customers. AND lets rip off our customers by offering 12mb service even though they will never see ANYTHING past 1mb if theyre lucky for two seconds for the entire week! Thats where they get you. Speeds UP TO 12mb or 6mb or 1mb whatever they offer you for your area. Thats where they get you folks. Dont bother about customer service. 45 minute wait to talk to someone and for them to send their tech out to your house 3 days later just to tell you Yea the problem is on our side, the line is bad going to sugarland. Well have a good one! And thats as far as that ever goes. Why do I still have them you ask? Like I said earlier, better than nothing.... hopefully you heed my warning and just get minimum service if theyre all you can get like me and maybe one day theyll realise hey we need to fix this before we really start losing customers. But i doubt it.

Don’t waist your time with this provider!!! Internet service is lower than one star!!! Customer service slow too!!!No no no no.... will go back to one I’ve been using before, at least that one worth 3-4 starsOnes again DON’T !!!
