Whoever Amanda is that works there is very RUDE . She does not act professional. She does not talk to you she talks at you making you feel the most horrible person ever for wanting a job or trying to get a job and deal with and if I had corporate number I’d have her reprimanded because I’ve heard plenty people talk about how she has also talked to them and fired them for snapping on her for the way she has treated and talked to them . As for all the rest of the workers there I haven’t had too much of the pleasure to deal with but they seem way more professional than she does and I hope somebody reports her really soon. She will be known as a bad image for professional services offered representing Express and they are a great agency I think it’s just the people like her that work for them that give them a bad name .

Express Employment Professionals has been great to me, especially Stephan Newton. He always in a good upbeat mood, professional, and always available to answer any questions I may have. Hes very honest and genuine. He definitely make you feel as he understand how it is to be without employment and having to take care of a family so he definitely do his job well by finding a good placement fit for you. He placed me with my first assignment June 2020 which was a perfect fit for me until the job did a layoff this year but Stephan didnt hesitate to find me another job placement. Thank you Stephan. My experience with EXPRESS is phenomenal .. ESPECIALLY with the staff of like to acknowledge Stephan, Tia, & Amanda . They are very thorough, helpful and patient ALL THE TIME. They said express employment is professional I think not express sent my son on a unprofessional job for one week….then they gave him a better opportunity the day he supposed to start they canceled on him then told him because they couldn’t get in contact with his old references you stop a person from working ?

I love working for this company I applied and they found me a job within the same week and started... I would just prefer to have my time approved on Mondays especially when the app ask for it to be submitted on Mondays to avoid a delay in payment. But other than that the have never messed up my pay or anything they are amazing

I never worked for express employment but I have a good friend Jeff hoffler who’s been my friend for years ALWAYS been a hard worker Dedicated guy loyal, caring, outstanding person since I known him the way express treated him……I DONT THINK NO ONE SHOULD WORK THERE!!!!!!!

The world is in a rough place right now, so it puts us in a tough place . Im a single mother of 3 beautiful boys and just when I thought it was no way I will be able to find an job that will fit all the requirements that are needed far as scheduling money-wise distance wise and these guys just made all of that happen in one drop for me and I was able to land awesome job that can be long-term thats 10 minutes from my house making more money than I expected to, so Im forever grateful and I appreciate the Express office right here on Brook road thank you guys keep doing what you doing keep helping how you helping because its helping our community ❣️

This Express office will be the best you’ll find in the Richmond/Henrico area! Everyone in the office is so professional and pleasant to do business with. They put on a GREAT assignment with even better people!

I went to work on a Monday, was not able to clock myself in on your app. I called and text to let someone know. No one responded until Thursday. I reccomend you find employment through the employer not this temp agency. They seem nice but, keep yourself covered or they will fire you.

This company is the worst. They will not give you health insurance and if you get hurt be readyTo wait 2 hours before sent you to a clinic. They dont care you so stay away from this trash of company and persons that work there

I just want to say that my experience with the North office has been the best ive had with any temp agency. Tia Thompson was very helpful, understanding of all my concerns, and helped me in any way i needed. Shes an asset to you all, i left and came back and Ms. Thompson processed me both times. Jamie helped me also the second time i worked with express and didnt delay in helping me in attempting to retrieve my old registration account, plus she gave me an express shirt, which was nice.

If I could I would give them a negative 0. My husband was employed through express staffing (brook road) every job he’s had through them he was always there and on time my husband takes pride in working and is a very dedicated to any obligations he takes on today I (his wife) has to go in for a medical procedure due to me having a joint disease which may leave me not being able to walk my husband reached out to the employer first jus to make them aware of the situation I had taken a hard fall this morning and my husband has been up trying to help me use the rest room an bathe and not to mention get our children together to which one of our babies is severely disabled my husband was then going to reach out to express once he got everything situated. Express ended up calling him and was very inconsiderate of what was going on. Amanda even told him he could have came in for a few hours and then took me to my appointment! I didn’t know that was her place. Amanda didn’t even want to mention it was her that said that to my husband at first and when I asked her how did she even feel that was appropriate for her to say all she kept saying was I can speak to Joshua if he has any questions, Not to mention I had to be at the hospital at 10:30 this morning. Needless to say Amanda put my husband on hold and after about 10 Minutes she gets someone else to get on the line an say we can no longer help you!? I’m lost How can you be so heartless about such a serious situation. My husband and I didn’t even need to go into detail like we did due to hippa laws but he really wanted to keep the line of communication open. Amanda didn’t even want to give the owners information but I didn’t let that go easily so hopefully we will be hearing from her soon.

I liked the fact that the day I went in to apply Tia had work for me the following day. I only worked 4 days in a half before I was back out of work. The communication skills wasnt so good, I didnt receive responses to emails. I ended up finding my own full time Job. I would recommend this to someone who doesnt have much work experience and isnt looking to work everyday.

I sought Amanda, and Tias assistance at the E Parham Road office in Richmond, Virginia. I was pleased to be addressed by Amanda by my first name after so many years. I relocated from CA. to VA . June 2016 . Once I started working with Express Pros on October 2016 . They found me employment promptly and throughly handle all my paperwork . Professional would probably not be the word Id use to describe this establishment. I sought out employment on their website and I called to enquirer about a position after speaking to someone in the office I was told to fill out an application and bring my resume. Once I got there I wasnt interviewed nor was my resume looked at someone from the back simply looked at me and said Sorry, you dont have the experience needed for this position.Ill preface that portion of the story by saying in this particular field I have almost a decade of experience at that position of which 5 of those were with a Fortune 500 company. When I asked for an explanation as to why I was given so much of a run around that a marathoner wouldve been jealous but when I asked why it wasnt fully explained either over the phone or on the website, I was told Well, its hard to describe the job qualifications on a website which struck me as odd because isnt that exactly what a website for a employment agency should be utilized for?Ive removed my information from their database and I suggest you steer clear of them completely unless you enjoy having both your time and resources wasted.

I think this is one of the greatest staffing agencys in va they are active in up front with finding you a job that pays well also finding you a job that meets your pay rate standards that you were making at your recent job tia and amanda are nice easy to talk to go beyond measures to find you work very understanding of all sisuations Ive been to a couple of staffing agencys but I say if your trying to find work this definitely the place they have variety of jobs for all diffrent professions 😁

They are horrible they promised me 4 different jobs in a months time and I NEVER received a job they gave me run around for an entire month I left my job because they told me they had a job for me but I never got anything and then they revealed my confidential information to another employee and they lied about my work history but they told me NONE of this but instead told another employee personal information about me

Poor communication skills offered by Express staff. If you deny one assignment they wont offer you other ones. Poor general service. Dont waste your time with signing up (which is not fast) . Use any other employment agency but this one.
