I read these reviews before I initially spoke with Mrs.Haynes regarding a new LPN position, and so I was skeptical. But after having my own experience I will say she is very nice. She has a brand she owns and represents so I’m sure she’s critical of who she refers to represent her company but anyone with their own brand is smart enough to protect it.The phone interview was much more comfortable than most. I also left the call with a great understanding of the job requirements and details.I’m definitely a review reader, never a review writer. But with these reviews being so mixed I thought maybe my insight could help.-SS

Interviewed with Ms. Haynes twice, first time she was professional and nice. Second interview, she was condescending and literally picked apart my resume and experience. Very condescending and demeaning during the interview process, will also have you thinking you “got the job” only to be told you’re not good enough.

I have had the most wonderful experience with CPC, but in particular with Pat. I applied for an administrator position for a rather large company and was contacted back within a week. I had an initial interview with Pat so she could get a feel for whether or not I would be a good fit for the position. She was very easy to talk to and we got along swimmingly! She asked a lot of questions about my qualifications and just got to know me as a person. Within a short time she decided I was perfect for the position and we continued the process. We scheduled an interview with the company and that morning Pat sent me encouragement via e-mail, which I found incredibly endearing and really put me in a great mood. She wants her people to succeed and it shows. I got the job and started work within a week of having my first interview with her! She knows what shes doing and shes great at it. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help them find the RIGHT job for their skills and personality. She is a no-nonsense person! She has a job to do, and boy does she do it. If you are open to her thoughts and ideas and YOU put the effort in, you will absolutely find the right place for you. Thank you Pat!

Ms Haynes approached me about a job via a resume bank. I called and followed up and answered and asked questions. She was fine at first, but began picking apart my resume and experience to the point that it was down right insulting.I was aware of the travel component of the job and the requirements. I was in the military, so Ive spent a day or two away from home. She insisted that I couldnt handle it. I told her that I had spent consecutive years away from home, and she in a round-a-bout way told me that I was exaggerating my experience. Insisted that I was able to come home whenever I wanted, saying I have friends that know people in the military, thats not what they said...... What? Also, she asked if I had supervisory experience in the military and I said yes. Then she picked it apart and insisted that it wasnt real experience and that non-experience was irrelevant and meant nothing on a resume, or to the career field that I was already employed in.If she talks to and treats half of the people the way she spoke to me, she is doing her prospects, her clients, and fellow recruiters and great dis-service. Steer clear of this arrogant aristocratic narcissist.

I moved to Virginia last summer seeking employment in the Marketing and Communications field. Prior to moving, I reached out to Commonwealth Personnel Consultants and had a exploratory conversation with Pat Haynes, the owner. She was did her best to understand my background, but suggested that once I moved, to come to her office and meet with her. I did so, and our chat was very constructive. We went through my resume and talked about my experience. She was honest in telling me that the market was dry for positions in my field but to stay in touch and if I found positions that interested me, reach out. I ended up finding a job (not in my field) without Pats assistance, however meeting with her helped get me in the right direction. Months later, she reached out about a job opening that I wouldve loved. Although it didnt work out because of personal circumstances, Pat is a great recruiter and will always keep an eye out for you.

Awful service! Sent over information via email for review, and no response or acknowledgement was given in return. When I called to follow up several days later, I was interrupted and told to speak up by the owner, Ms. Haynes, who then repeatedly insisted that I had called earlier in the day. After trying to get past her insistence of our earlier conversation, and in an effort to gather basic information about her firm and the services they offer, she continued to speak over me, bragging about the abundance of firms she represents and my lack of direction in asking questions. Her final selling point of over 32 years in the industry was capped off when she abruptly disconnected the phone call. If you are seeking personnel advice, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
