Dropped my phone off at 12pm on Wednesday and was told it wouldn’t take more than a few hours. The initial employee I gave my phone to for repair was super helpful, polite, and professional. My quarrel lies with the rest of their customer service team and absolute lack of communication moving forward. I was assured that someone “would be in touch” and the phone wouldn’t take longer than a few hours. Thinking that a 4 hour window was probably sufficient- I Go to pick it up at 4pm same day and the phone “isn’t ready”. Store closes at 7. Called Best Buy repeatedly until 7pm and was told by rude customer service reps that they were unable to put me in touch with a real person at the location where my phone was being worked on. Continued to hear nothing from Best Buy and 7:00 finally rolled around. So Best Buy geek squad just kept my phone overnight with absolutely no communication??? It is now Thursday morning and I’ve called Best Buy twice and gotten two more SUPER RUDE employees from their generic hotline refusing to connect me with a real person at the location which has my phone, stating that the phone “still isn’t ready” and offering no remedy to the lack of communication from the location, and STILL don’t have my phone. Terrible terrible terrible- just go straight to the apple store if you need a Genius Bar appointment.

The person who speaks the message to those calling, speaks entirely too fast thereby leaving some older folks unable to follow instructions. And there was no way to speak to a live person. Tried repeatedly.

They are very expensive. I got a basic stereo only and paid close to $300. I miss Circuit City.

The wait time is just our of control. Just came to pick up my computer that was fixed and already paid for, and had to go on 3 seperate occasions because of wait times being too long. They didnt even acknowledge me after 30 minutes of standing there the first 2 times. It takes 3 minutes to hand me my computer. The work they do is good and the people are nice, but geez what is the point if I cant get my computer back. I wont be using geek squad again. They need to have other staff come help the people waiting in line. Customer service was just standing there twidling their thumbs and told me they couldnt give me my computer...

I had a terrible experience today! I had to wait 45 minutes for them to tell me i needed an appointment when there was one other person there who also didnt have an appointment. So i had to go to customer service and get them to tell me i was going to be the next person! There was no reason for that! To top it off the iPod they replaced doesnt even have the apple logo on the back! How can you make me pay for something that isnt even what i needed replaced!
