I gotta say I was skeptical at first, too good to be true from the reviews but these guys pulled through and got my little car back in fitting form after a month of back and forth with my last shop that finally closed down. Vince was professional and super knowledgeable on what was going on with my car and had it up and running the very day I dropped it off. They got a new customer for sure.

Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I just came for an inspection and my car was in and out fast. The guys here didnt push extra work or pressure me to let them do simple tasks like replacing a bulb. Definitely feels like the kind of place one could make their regular mechanic where they know you and your car by name and you get the same techs all the time. Ill be bringing my ride here first next time.

We traveled to Richmond to visit family and, on the way, picked up a nail in our tire. We arrived at 5:00 pm and, by that time, our tire was flat. I contacted Halls Tire & Auto and they were able to fix it that evening...saving us a lot of trouble for our visit. The staff and management were incredibly helpful and extremely pleasant. Were happy to give it our highest recommendation

The guy at the front desk was cool. He even taught me that phone numbers was only 5 digits I didn’t know that. They got me in and out was only visiting Va. definitely would come here if ever in the area.

This is the second time I have used Hall’s. They were very fair, honest and had a fast turn around on repair time.

I was very impressed with their quick service, and great price. Long story short, I’m not the most responsible car owner and I was expecting to have to pay a massive amount and wait days for them to fix my car. As soon as we walked in, the nice older gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and didn’t judge or mock my lack of knowledge or good care to my car. The mechanic called me a few hours later and gave me a run down of what was wrong and how much it would cost. They fixed the long list of things to do within the next 24 hours and called me as soon as it was finished. I also really appreciated how they worked with my schedule to retrieve my car after they were closed for the day. Again, I was highly impressed and glad to have a working car!

I was recommended Halls Auto & Tire when I bought my Jeep in 2001. I was so impressed with the Professional service, not only from the Mechanics, also from the Management Team.Over the years, I still own the same jeep, and of course when something went wrong, I only go to Halls. Several times in the past, I have had the jeep towed, and it passed many shops, only to be dropped off at Halls.Why? I like the Honesty & Professional Service. They DO NOT repair what does not need to be repaired. Once, I had a transmission problem, and they recommend who to take it too.The Mechanics have been there 20 years plus, so this says a lot in how Jack, Owner/Manager runs his business which was started by his father in 1946.I have introduced Halls to family & friends, and they too continue to return. They are a 5 PLUS Team.

This place is great. Super friendly people. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years now and never even think about looking around. They’ve done major repairs and smaller stuff and I have never thought they were trying to sell me on unnecessary items. One time I brought my 2006 Ford in for an inspection and found it needed a new exhaust manifold (which I knew was coming soon) and they had it back to me the same day!

My rommate has been coming here for years and I finally took the plunge when my auto dealers care plan went up and I couldnt be happier. I had my oil and tires replaced. Even though I made a mistake in tire size, they were still very prompt in getting the right tire size and helping me know what it is. Their employees have been I the area for decades, and are very kind and knowledgeable. I will be coming here for the rest of my time in Richmond.

Always awesome service

New to Richmond and needed to find a good mechanic. Took my car in after seeing the good reviews online. My car is newer and lets me know what needs to be done so I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. Jack called me back and showed me that the car didnt actually need the tire rotation and wasnt going to charge me for a service I didnt need. Most other places would just do it whether I needed it or not. These guys are trustworthy and I will definitely be bringing my car back to Halls!

Easily the best customer service I have experienced at an auto shop. And it wasnt just for the kindness.... They really care and are knowledgeable. I dont worry about being told I need something I dont, they dont try to charge you for every little thing they can think of. It really was like bringing the car into family.

These guys fit me in right away after I called about a flat tire. Very affordable and knowledgable. My tire pressure sensor was also working great after the replacement. Highly recommend!

Friendly people, quality service. Im seldom left speechless, but that is how I left Halls Tire & Auto Service. I stopped in adamant that I needed two new run flat tires. They were flat, there was no denying it. Run flat tires are most costly, but that is what my car takes. I was prepared for the damage. However, after a few minutes waiting, the gentlemen who was going to fix my flat come in to where I was sitting and said the valves to my tires were loose and told me I do not need new tires. He fixed it, handed me my keys and wished me a good day. Talk about incredible customer service! For any of my future tire and auto needs, I will be going to Halls. I hope you do too.

Brought my car in just to check a tire for leaks. 20 minutes and a broken screw later, my tire is fixed. The spectacular thing was that, without me ever bringing it up, they hammered out a dent in my fender for no charge. Its little things like that that gain permanent customers.
