Took my car in because of a coolant problem. First off the parts were upcharged and it was just overpriced. Second, the day I get my car back I go to fill up gas and it reads 130 miles of range... 100 miles later and it also reads 130 miles of range. I have owned this car for 2 years and never had a problem with the fuel system. Whether it was pure negligence or intentional, Claudio wont take ownership so I now need to go to another shop and get this fixed before it stands me somewhere without gas... Thanks Claudio...

I have been using this repair shop for many years probably about 10 years. i havent had any problems with Mr. Claudio he has always been very honest with me. I have never tried to get discounts from him cuz I always feel the estimated prices are fair enough. Regarding used parts comment on the reviews I want to say that he always lets me know about parts prices and I have sometimes chosen original parts for motor transmission and timing belt repairs other times aftermarket for less important areas and maybe a couple times I chose from the junk yard due to the fact the part was a water reserved tank or stuff like that, that dont have any mechanical functions on the car, but like I said he lets me take that choice, and warned me about the quality of a used part and i know if it fails that isnt his problem but mine cuz i chose to go cheap. I have never asked for a lower price on the labor because I believe honesty is priceless, I used to live in San Rafael, San pablo and Sacramento then I end up living in Richmond from 2011 to now, but from 2003 to 2011 i always found how other mechanics were dishonest with me but since I found C & D Repair & Towing I gotta tell you this is the place where i take my cars, very honest mechanic and I am very happy with his service.

I brought my vehicle to this guy and he charged me $700 for a check engine light. A few days later the light came back on again. He said if I paid him $140 more, he would take care of it. Now I have the check engine light again. Hes hiding from me every time I come to talk to him and wont refund my money.Bad experience. This guy is is a rip-off!
