Were a military family and have moved a lot, weve had good and bad experiences with property managers so believe me when I say Jason and his team are the best of the best. They are excellent communicators and always addressed my concerns in a quick and capable manner. They treated my family with politeness and courtesy. They are professional, caring and very easy to work with. I highly recommend using Magnolia Coastal Properties for all your real estate needs.

Jason had to be the best agent in Georgia. I was contacted after my inquiry by the team and the experience from start to finish by far was the best Ive ever encountered. Ive dealt with a few different agencies since I moved here and Jason was by far the most respectful professional realtor Ive dealt with. He wasnt pushy or anything. He simply wanted to help and his efforts to find the perfect home for me was far above any service Ive ever received. Just a awesome down to earth honest man. Thanks for all your help and what a great team this agency has.

The entire Barker team has been so easy to work with. When we were in a pinch for time, they helped us find a property to move into immediately. They have been helpful with adjusting names on our lease, adding our dog, and any work orders that came up. They were consistent communicators, always letting us know when someone would be stopping by the house to fix anything and provided us their information and point of contact. They treated us like neighbors, sending us letters and emails on our birthdays and all the major holidays. Their thoughtfulness and support during stressful moves were made easier because of them. We are sad to move but so thankful we were able to experience renting through them! They truly treat their company like a family.

I used Magnolia Coastal for about 4 years. They came well recommended by my coworkers who were also my neighbors. It was easy to set up an appointment, and the next day Linda was at the house with the contract. She went over it in detail with me, making sure that my interests were reflected in the document and that I had full understanding. I signed the papers, went to the gym, 2 hours later I had a miscall. I called and they already had a tenant, they had already done all the checks and sent me the contract over the phone. I signed it still at the gym, from my phone without even interrupting my workout. A few years and tenants later, Im comfortable and confident to say by my own experience that you will not find better realtors/ property managers to manage your property. Whenever there were repairs needed Jason was quick to inform me and handle the situation, if the repair was small often he did it himself if he thought the contractors price was bad. When the A/C unit needed repairs he searched for the warranty papers and got it all fixed. The house was always rented, always taken good care of and I always felt at ease knowing it was in good hands. I got updates with pictures from inspection visits, recommendations and always conducted himself professionally no matter the years passed. Once I decided I wouldnt be returning to Georgia and wanted to sell, Jason advised me of all my options, the house was never without a tenant, not a day, ever. He once again worked with me through the process, ensuring I got what I wanted and within a week the house was already on contract and sold. There are plenty of property managers out there, but the Barker Team raises the bar to a whole new level. I only wish they were here in Florida too. As far as the negative reviews in here, Im sure it most have been someone who didnt make the cut or were asking for something that was impossible to accommodate or unethical. I know of at least 10 homeowners all within the area who use them and still to this day we talk about how efficiently and fast the Barker team is. I never got a complaint from any tenant either, every single one of them was happy with them. Heck, once I forgot to update banks on the HOA and Jason fixed it all in a day and made the adjustment with me so that the tenants pool access wasnt interrupted. I cant type enough reasons of why you should use them and not a single thing of why anyone shouldnt.

Jason and Linda always went above and beyond when I was a renter. I would 100% recommend them to anyone moving to the area, especially military families. They are great people who are hardworking, down-to-earth, and a fixture in the local community.

Not happy with Linda Barker at all,we were introduced to her by a home owner by the name of Tom who was looking to rent out his in Richmond hill,Tom was very nice,and he even offered us the home that day if my wife and I was willing to take it,but we werent ready just yet,we explained to him that we will be relocating in the next month or two,and we were really in need a finding home ASAP Tom promise my wife and I the home, that if we could leave a deposit of a hundred bucks, he would do anything to make sure we got the house,well we were suppose to meet up with Tom Saturday the day before we headed back to Miami,but we got a phone call from one of Linda Barker acting agents who was feeling in at the time, that we were to proceed with the application on line,we spoke with to let him know that we were told to do so, keep in mind that Tom had told us that there was no application fee required,but we were told something totally different,we noticed that it was a lot of miscommunication between Linda Barker and Tom,but we didnt think anything of of it, long story short Linda Barker TeX us Every day until she got the second application fees, now boom 100.00 bucks she has gotten,and now no more TeX, not even a phone call say hey you guys we have received you application here is the Nex step,now we find ourselves sending TeX messages to Tom and Linda Barker,but nobody wants to deal with us,I dont wanna say its because we are two black women,and we are gay,but I will, when I called Linda she was very cold,she said she would look into the application,but I dont think she did,now I think This is a case of, They will go away, well Linda Barker you may be right after return our hard earned money thanks

Not getting what you pay for – We do NOT recommend!We own a home in Richmond Hill and researched local property management companies when we were preparing to move away from the area. We met with a few companies and decided to go with MCP based on their professionalism, references, flat-fee charges, and promises to treat tenants well and respond in a timely manner. The relationship started off well with MCP securing tenants within 2 weeks of listing the property and transitioning the tenants into our house after we moved out. However, that was the best part of our 2 years with MCP. Overall, we did not get the level of service we expected. With each issue in the house, we had to contact MCP requesting updates because they were poor at communicating information with us. We experienced difficulty contacting them and often had to call, email, and text. Jason, the Property Manager, was slow to respond to phone calls and messages and expressed no urgency with service requests. When the stove broke, a technician tried to reach him on a Friday morning. He didn’t call the tech back until late that afternoon, which resulted in our tenants being without a stove for 5+ days (when it could have been fixed that day had he returned the call in the morning). The tenants asked about adding a pet and MCP was slow to respond to their questions and didn’t get a signed pet agreement (with all of the rules and info) until 1 month later. Then we received it 2 months after that. Their inspection reports were incorrect on multiple occasions (example: our tenants had a pet and MCP listed that there was no pet). We coached Jason on how to talk to our tenants so he wouldn’t treat them like they were the enemy (even though they were at fault for a broken appliance). MCP only works Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. They did not want to complete the move out inspection on a Saturday morning even though they wrote the lease with that date as the final date of the lease. After we insisted, Jason agreed to meet us for the inspection, but then backed out the morning of when the tenants asked for 15 extra minutes. We had to complete the move-out inspection and do all of the research and coordination for necessary repairs. Jason even reprimanded us when he didn’t receive the information he needed to be compliant with the law (although the timeline was not communicated with us and it could have been solved with him doing his job by being present at the inspection).We do NOT recommend using Magnolia Coastal Properties to manage your rental home. We don’t believe they pay attention to details, are timely in their responses, or care for tenants the way we want them cared for while living in our house. They were difficult to work with and gave the impression that they were inconvenienced when contacted. When we tried to discuss issues we had with them as the property managers, we were met with sarcasm and unprofessionalism. Not all of our communication went this poorly. But the poor far outweighed the decent. One blessing in this is that the experience with MCP showed us that we can manage the property ourselves (from out of state) and save paying property management fees.
