Frans was so sweet. I greatly appreciated her services. She went out if her way to alter a dress I needed 2 days later and had the dress ready a Saturday which she usually doesnt open her shop. Definitely coming back for future alterations

We went in for a basic pants hem, but the initial service conversation was so terrible, I pulled our request and we left. We first tried to enter the store during regular business hours on a weekday, but found the store locked. We were eventually greeted by a proprietor who let us in, but did so with obvious reluctance, giving us every visible sign that she didnt want us to be there. She continued to speak to us like we were unwanted. Eventually she was more direct, telling us that they werent taking any more business right now, as the calendar was full several weeks out. She was not apologetic in the slightest, and her general demeanor was that we were in the wrong for seeking services. The problem here wasnt the refusal, but the service approach. It is somewhat understandable that a business like this can become overwhelmed (although an inability to meet demand is the proprietors problem, not the customers), but there are ways to handle this far more professionally. We are not particularly demanding customers, and could easily have been convinced to come back later, or been willing to put our name on a call-back list or something, but her approach was so off-putting there was no way we were going to reward it with our business.

She does wonderful work. Shes very friendly.I have recommended her to all my family and friends.
