Perna construction did a wonderful job of updating/extending our kitchen island from an awkward/unusable space to being able to seat our family of 4. Communication, pricing and quality of work were all great. I would definitely recommend them!

The entire staff at Perna Construction was wonderful to deal with. Very honest people that were upfront with what they could accomplish and did whatever they could to accommodate us. They were punctual and easy to reach and that won me over from the first interaction!

When we purchased our home in Midway GA it needed some freshening up. In addition to prepping my floors for new flooring, painting and converting my loft into an enclosed office with 2 windows, they removed the tub / shower in moms bathroom and replaced it with this beautiful tiled walk in shower.

Perna Construction did a master bathroom remodel for me last year. I had high hopes that the remodel would be a wonderful experience because of their reputation and the reviews. It was absolutely horrible. I had to ask them to come back numerous times because of the poor job they did - uneven tiles, unfinished grout, unacceptable caulking/painting job, staining/mess in the driveway, etc. I went through a divorce and lost access to all the pictures showing the poor work that was done that had to be corrected over and over again. The lead crew member had a lot of personal things happen to him and that was their excuse for the poor job they performed. The worst part is that the new shower installed had 2 shower heads. Each set of plumbing work leaked. One happened soon after remodeling was complete and it was discovered because the laminate flooring started buckling. Their initial reaction was that my kids must have spilled something on the floor and tried to hide it. They were able to fix it but I was not compensated properly for the time, stress and inconvenience it caused. The second leak happened about 5 months after the remodeling was complete. Several experts all agreed that the leak occurred because the original plumbing work by Perna Construction was not done correctly. It caused enough damage that the entire flooring downstairs had to be replaced, Serve Pro had to leave their equipment for at least 1 week and a half to remedy the effects of the leak, and it took over a month and a half to get everything back in order. Of course, Perna Construction did not want to take any responsibility for what they did and actually said that the plumbing was tampered with. Of course after the 2nd leak happened I did not feel comfortable allowing them to return to try to fix the problem. They had done enough damage to my home at this point. Theresa was very unprofessional and not very customer service friendly with her interactions with me for expressing my legitimate concerns. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. I actually give them ZERO stars but that was not an option unfortunately.

Jacob Perna and his outstanding team of craftsmen totally exceeded our expectations for our master bedroom and closet area renovation. There isnt enough space here to detail how pleased we were from the very beginning to the very last aspect of the job. We were simply wowed with this experience. With all the trials and tribulations that we know can take place in a renovation or remodel - not to mention disappointments and problems that arise with some contractors - nothing could be farther from the case with Perna. Simply put - Perna Construction demonstrates much pride in their workmanship as well as being reliable, responsive, wonderfully creative, honest, and all that topped off with being the nicest team you could ever hope to work with! Five stars just isnt enough.

We live in an old midtown home. Real old. I literally couldnt stand going into our master bathroom. When we got an estimate from Jacob, it was reasonable, as was the timeline. Though we had to wait about 4 months for construction to start, the wait was totally worth it! Jacob told us it would take 3 weeks work, and it only took 2 weeks and 2 days (and part of that was our fault: a delay in the tile). Bobby and Brad worked on our project and were very punctual, communicative, kind, and considerate of our space. Our dingy old nasty bathroom is beautiful and modernized. The pictures posted (click on photos above) are before and after, though it wont be totally done until tomorrow.

Our experience with Perna was top notch!! From the very first meeting of Jacob coming to look at our dream, we could tell this was going to be a great experience. Perna did not disappoint whatsoever! In preparation for our project, Theresa was very patient with the 1,000+ questions that we had and was very quickly responsive to every single inquiry as our dream grew. They pointed us in the right direction for quality materials and people to help us select the items needed for the project. Jacobs crew came to work EVERY day (sometimes 6 days a week) which is very unusual for most construction crews--some just dont show up some days. The crew was always very courteous and professional and cared about our home and wanted to keep our home as neat and in order as was possible during the remodel. Both Josh and Jonathan always kept us informed as to what they were doing and both were a pure joy to be around. They made sure we were 100% satisfied with everything. As surprises came up during the course of the project (such as finding years old flooring that was buried under current flooring), Jacob was always communicative of the issue found and wanted to make it right so that we wouldnt have the problem to deal with in the future. You certainly cannot go wrong with Perna!!! So very, very pleased.

The movers for our tenants broke their washing machine causing a leak and damage to flooring in our house. Perna Construction took very good care of us and made sure the house was taken great care of since we live in another state. They are very professional and worked very hard to make sure our needs were met. We couldnt be more pleased with how the work turned out and how nice they were! I was recommended Perna Construction by my neighbor for our kitchen tile and fireplace remodel. I worked with Theresa Perna mostly for estimate and assistance in design and materials. Theresa was always quick to get in touch with me and patient with my indecisiveness. The workers were very nice, arrived on time, flexible with my changes and did a beautiful job. They were kind when I wanted certain tile pieces exchanged in order to gain a more consistent look in the tile scheme. They completed the job on time and cleaned up after themselves. We had a great experience with Perna Construction! We had subway tiles installed in our kitchen as a backsplash. They were able to schedule us in early and they showed up on time both mornings and completed the job fast. They did a very nice job on the backsplash too.

I had renovations done recently on my 1940 Cape Cod in Ardsley Park, Georgia. After using another general contractor for the previous reno last year and being rather unsatisfied with the entire experience, I decided to look for somebody that I could trust to get the work done efficiently, on time and on budget. After about a month or so of looking, Perna Construction and Flooring popped up on my Facebook feed. I did some research online and looked at his reviews; they were numerous and all very positive.The company specializes in flooring and bathrooms and that’s exactly what I needed so I decided to give Teresa a call. She runs the office and she set up an appointment with her husband, Jacob. I met with him last November; we walked the house; he took pictures; he wrote down everything I said; he listen very carefully; answered my questions if I had them and said that he would get back to me within a couple days with a detailed quote.I found his prices to be extremely reasonable. What really appealed to me was the fact that I knew when the work was going to start and I knew when it was going to be done. I did have some change orders on my original quote but Jacob still got the work done. His crew is amazing! They came in almost every day. When they were working, they were very respectful of my home, my time, and me.They are well trained, disciplined and excellent craftsman. They cleaned up after each day’s work; no profanity and hard-working. I can’t recommend this company enough!!!!
