Ive always had good luck here. The prices are fair, and they do a thorough job. Bought new tires today and was in and out way sooner than expected.

Very helpful folks. Had to stop from traveling for tire repair. Matthew ( or Marcus, cant remember) was very thorough in taking care of us and very detailed explanation of how he took care of the repair. He really has a passion for his work. Thank yall for getting us out so quickly.

My wife and I have been using H&L Services since it opened for business. We have 2 cars and a van. They are very nice and always do an excellent job, on time and they stand behind their work.

They were an absolute life saver for the kiddos and me. 3 hrs from home and needed a tire. They even stayed open past closing to get my tire mounted. Extremely grateful!! 5 stars for sure!!

My car broke down on a drive from FL to SC and I found them online. I left my vehicle overnight and returned in the morning. They found the issue and found the best value in replacement parts nearby. I am happy to recommend them to fellow travelers.

Awesome! We were heading down the highway when our trailer tire began to delaminate. We pulled off the highway, and into their shop to find that they could change the tire for us right then and there! Greased the tires, checked the PSI. Even had replacement windshield wipers! We were right on our way! Great job guys!

Traveling and had a flat tire on the inside rim on my F350. Outside tire had a screw that was not leaking air. After a short wait and and even shorter inspection in parking lot I was told I need a new tire and the one I hade was not repairable. Had an employee at the warehouse ready to grab a new one for me. They obviously looked at the outer tire and did not try to air up the inner to verify where leak was coming from as there was no screw visible. Two stars was for not wasting a lot of my time.

We were traveling from Florida to Delaware and ran into some car trouble. We called Earls Restoration and after explaining the issue, he directed us over to H&L and to our delight, they were able to fix us right up after having to troubleshoot why we were having issues in the first place. 2 hours later and they got us on the road towards home!! I want to give a shout out the folks at H&L. I was on my way from FL to NC and had a flat tire in Richmond Hill. THese guys were able to work me in to patch my tire and get me back on the road. They were able to do this in spite of the fact that their service bays were full and cars waiting to be serviced. THes guys must be doing soming right because they have a lot of loyal customers. If you need your car serviced or new tires this is an honest and quality shop.

I went in for what i thought was an alignment issue but got a front tire separated which made my Avalon pulled to the right. It is really hard for the front desk to understand you especially if you have a speech problem or an accent speaking or is it poor customer service?. Unprofessional. Thanks for that anyways not again.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! H & L Tire and Auto Repair performed better than I ever could have hoped. Wed been putting off a repair for a long time due to the previous estimates being so expensive. Finally, we couldnt put it off any longer and I brought it to H & L on a recommendation from a friend. I was so pleased when their estimate came back significantly lower for the same repair. It was so much lower I was able to ask them to tend to some other minor repairs that had also been pushed off. Each time they called to tell me it was ready, I had another repair I asked them to look at, and each time they were able to diagnose the problem, order the part and repair it by the end of business. They were fast, did excellent work at a fantastic value and were always so courteous and kind. They were truly the best experience Ive ever had at any mechanic shop!! As a military spouse trying to balance it all while my husband is deployed, I feel so relieved knowing that our family car is in tip top shape!! Thank you Mike and everyone at H & L for for being a super bright spot during a challenging time.

Very disrespectful!! If you woke up in the morning wanting to get talked down like as if you’re a child, this is the right place to go to. You’ll get talked to worst than a dog on a random street. You can go there for a certain concern on your vehicle and it will not get solved because “you did not say that on the phone” ... mind you they have a bunch of customers coming there for different reasons ... for example ... you can can drop your car off to get your tires checked or replaced but come back and they did not look at the tires but tell you they replaced your air conditioning because “that’s what you said on the phone”. Your mind wasn’t even on the air conditioning. They’re a we’re right your wrong business. You get attitude including with the payment and taxes you didn’t ask for.

We had an issue while traveling nearby on I-95 south. Our vehicle needed to be towed there after we looked them up and seen the previous reviews. The H&L team lead by Steve the service advisor was great! They really helped us out and treated us very nice knowing our situation. The prices were most fare and the service quality and speed was fantastic. They really help us out in our jam when we feared the worst. They went out of their way to get a part needed that was a distance away to help us get back on our trip ASAP. I am one satisfied customer. I wish we were located closer to them so we could use their services more frequently. Considering traveling the longer distance when I can to use them more. Thank you H&L Team! You really bailed us out!

Service was efficient. Communication was respectful. I am rating my experience low due to what was charged. Typically I get my vehicle serviced and all diagnostics costs are charged only if what needs to be repaired is not approved for repair. In addition I was not informed of the diagnostics charge at any point. If I had known that either way I would have been charged $110 for diagnostics, I would have ran the diagnostics for free at an auto retailer and then informed the coordinator to repair what was needed. I was disappointed, because I decided to go to H&L rather than my normal Honda service center. This facility was highly recommended to me.

Great team of people they are not trying to get your money they really want to help people. I thought my car problems were bigger than they were and the front desk staff took good care of me.

Everything started out good with the hospitality and then it went downhill after that with the guesswork of not really being able to diagnose what the problem was with my automobile.. I had to go somewhere else and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it

The staff were very courteous and helpful and making your stay comfortable while doing maintenance on your vehicle and keeping you informed if any other issues are found on your vehicle and will ask if you want them to fix it and whether it is safe to drive.

First time here was highly recommended by friends from Richmond Hill, came from Savannah. Went in today for a tire rotation and oil change. Very familiar with auto shops because my family owns one in another state. I asked the service writer to speak to my mechanic that was going to be working on my truck and it was no problem he came right in the waiting room. Waiting room was nice and clean. The owner was there, not sure of his name but he was very detailed and stayed on top of everything. They did not try to recommend anything I did not need and properly recommended I change my air filter because it was pretty dirty. On top of the good mechanical and customer service work, the staff also cleaned and disinfected the waiting room while I was there due to Covid-19. Impressed and would not hesitate to bring them your vehicle.

They changed my oil a few days ago and now my check engine light is on and I have oil leaking. Wont be coming here again.

THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!My husband and I were traveling from Florida to North Carolina and all of a sudden our tire pressure started dropping in one tire. We pulled off the interstate to fill it but realized that wasn’t going to do it. There was a large nail in the tire. A google search showed that we were really close to H&L. We got there and they looked pretty busy, but after explaining our situation they quickly pulled our car in. They removed the screw and fixed the tire and we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Total life savers!!!

Quoted me 3 different prices for the same job, didn’t respond for a week and a half after the initial diagnosis. Finally got my car in, they were wrong on the initial diagnosis, as well as tried to charge me $500 extra to change rear brakes and rotors which they failed to diagnose when I was originally in the shop. Got the same job they were trying to do at Rogers Auto Care for $226 in Hinesville. Would never recommend, too time consuming, too aggravating, too expensive

It is fantastic to be able to trust an automobile service shop like Mike and the guys at H&L!! The service is genuine and experienced. The really care about their clients. I have 3 kids driving and Mike has taken care of, insured the safety of, and treated their cars all like they were his own kids cars!! Today they did it again. I love these guys and the work they do.

It was already 6 pm and they were about to close. they accepted anyway to take a look at my tire and replace it. The owner was so nice and his whole team. After my wife called me in hysterics that our pickup was broken down. I began to call around to shops close to her. Everywhere I called could not help or would not help. This shop not only helped us by getting her in for immediate repairs, they even gave her a ride to and from the hotel she stayed at during the repairs. The truck needed a Heli-coil repair for a blown out spark plug and new coil pack. This job was quoted at over $800.00 at several shops... H&L did the job for UNDER $400.00 out the door! The gentleman that I dealt with via phone was very understanding that my wife was traveling alone with our cat while I was hundreds of miles away at a training seminar. He was very compassionate towards her and very patient with my very scared wife. They called me for every decision and were very easy to communicate with.If you are ever on the area and need work done... These ARE the people to do it!!!Thank you!!!

Had to have A/C system recharged, brought it in by 8:00am, was done in less than an hour. Great service.

I’ve had the misfortunate privilege of using H&L twice now for unexpected incidents. Both times they went above and beyond what’s come to be expected as the norm these days. They’re kind, honest, and caring when it comes to their customers and the service they provide. They communicate consistently, letting you know of any issues that have or might come up. Their pricing is fair and their turnaround time is very quick. H&L makes you feel like a friend and they will always have my business from this day forward!

Leaving one star because they lacked customer service. I always call before I go somewhere because I don’t like wasting mine or the merchants time. I asked if they could fit me in for an oil change today. They responded with a “yea it will be a few hours”. I brought my car in they smirked and said I hope your trying to leave it over night we close at six (it was 4:35) Of course I wasn’t trying to leave it over night that’s why I called. Should have been straight up on the phone would have saved me the pain. I called Savannah tire and they were able to squeeze me in same day even threw in a couple of freebees.

Theyve ways been good to us, fair pricing, never felt like we were taken advantage of. Our go-to in town.

Beyond thankful for the guys at this shop! I was on my way to the airport when my car started acting funny and my check engine light started blinking! I pulled off the highway at the right time to the right exit! It was a Thursday leading into the holiday weekend and they were slammed! But they managed to sneak my car in and figure out what was wrong with it in less than ten minutes! They then sent a guy to go get the part and they got it fixed right away!! I seriously couldn’t appreciate them more for everything they did! My husband was currently out of the country and we’re military with no family around. I was so thankful for their kindness and hospitality! They also have a shop dog which my son LOVED!

I was a loyal customer for years, however thisblast visit cost over $800 for a spark plugs and wires, and a fuel filter. I feel a bit ripped off and Im not planning on coming back

Best customer service I have experienced in a long time! I noticed there was a screw in my tire yesterday evening around 5:30. I called their shop right away and asked if they could fix it if I got there before they closed. No problem, we will be waiting for you. I arrived at the shop at 5:45, 15 minutes before closing. The two guys at the front desk were very friendly and assisted me quickly. It turned out my tire needed to be replaced. Went back this morning to have the new tire put on, again fast, friendly service. I dont remember the name of the guy helping me this morning but I wanted to say THANK YOU again, you were awesome and have gained a forever customer!

Needed a minor adjustment done on my minivan.Other shops turned me down. H&L did it quite quickly, and at a very fair price.And the staff was very friendly!

I walked in not knowing anything about the place. I needed some tires and alignment on my wifes GMC ACADIA and the guy behind the counter showed me a few different brands with out the door prices. He was nice and the place was nice so I bought the tires. They told me to come back in an hour and they would have the tires at the store and ready to install. I came back and they had the tires and they began working on my vehicle. Took about an hour but the waiting area was comfortable and the guy has a dog that hangs around and keeps you company. They did a good job and the vehicle runs smooth. I got two other vehicles to buy tires for so I will be a returning customer. They were honest and straightforward.

I cannot say enough good things about this repair center. The staff is very professional, helpful and fast. I came in without an appointment to get my tire repaired while they had a full house. They took my car within 20 minutes, filled the whole and I was on my way in less than an hour. I cannot say that will always be the case, but with minor repairs they always do their best to get them taken care of as quickly as possible! I will be referring them to everyone we know, and with us being military we know A LOT of people! :) Hope youre ready for the extra business! Thanks again!

Mr. Mike and Julius are lifesavers. On Friday, January 10th I was traveling to Charlotte NC from Florida and got a flat tire. I was super stressed out as I had to work the following day so I drove from gas station to gas station trying to figure out what was happening with my tire. I got to the final gas station that had no air pump and just happened to look up to see H&L. At this point, I was super stressed as it was 6:10 pm and all shops online said closed. As I looked up I saw a man standing outside so I ran up to him and begged for help. Luckily Mike was still inside the shop and the nice man told me to go in and speak with him. So I explained to Mike what was going on and they gladly agreed to help me check out the tire. All the guys stayed to make sure that I was ok and felt comfortable. The very talented Julius fixed my tire and they gave me an excellent price that didnt break the bank. These guys are lifesavers and you can trust them with all of your mechanic needs.

We were traveling from south Florida back home to Virginia from vacation when we got a flat tire on the side of the highway. Every place near us was too busy to get our car fixed today so we tried H&L. They took us right away and when our tire was beyond repair they took the time to find us a used one and had us back on the road within the hour. They were close to closing for the day and could have turned us away but they took the time to give us excellent customer service instead. The entire staff was friendly and professional and more worried about helping us get back on the road any way they could. I would highly recommend this shop for automobile needs! I had heard great things about the shop from the locals and being new to the area I decided to try them out for an oil change. They were very professional and it was so easy to set up the appointment and I was right in and right out, which is great with my having to bring my toddler. They didnt try to hassel my into unnecessary repairs which is something I always dread being a woman. We will 100% be back for every oil change from here on out and for any repair we may need. The guys were so friendly, patient and answered all my questions with ease!

They literally wanted to charge me $400 to install a $40 part that my daughter could install. It was a hose with three hose clamps on top of the engine. They will take you to the cleaners if they can get away with it.

On our way down to Florida all the way from New Jersey our family experienced a flat and the nearest shop was h&l. We were preparing to be charged a mighty fee but when we went in and spoke to the man behind the counter to see how much it would cost for a tire change he said he wouldnt charge us. Walt changed it in under 10 minutes and had us on our way in no time. I highly recommend this shop. Very nice people who blessed us in ten folds. Thank you very much!!

Just got a new set of tires from H & L and could not be more than pleased with whole process. The tires had to be picked from another location, that was fine as I had erands to take care of. Got back a few hours later and they took care of me right away. When the time comes for tires for my wifes car, H & L will be the place Im taking it. Oh, love the new tires.

H&L is the only place we will ever take our vehicles. As a military family, we dont have the luxury of having our dads around to help or knowing who to trust in a new town. H&L has become like family. They are honest, trustworthy and have excellent customer service. They have always stopped whatever they were doing to get us in and out and on our way in an emergency. They have always been patient with me when I come in with a problem and my husband is gone. I have never felt like they have or would ever take advantage of me in fact, they have gone above and beyond to help and make sure I understand. Their prices have always been fair and much less than everyone else. I HIGHLY recommend them over everyone else and wouldnt recommend anywhere else.

This place is amazing. Traveling through Georgia I hit a truck tire that went flying across the road. Tore my under carriage cover off and wasn’t good to be driving the car with it dragging the ground. While the shop was very busy with customers, they promptly addressed my needs, got me fixed up and back on the road. Very polite & professional. Best part is - they didn’t even charge me. Super appreciative that this was where I ended up.

We were on our way from North Carolina back to Florida and our we found a flat tire😫it was about 11 pm and we tried to find anyone to help us and all attempts were in vain. In the morning, we found this awesome service and after we spent a night at the gas station these guys’ attitude to us was a bless of God! They found a tire for us and did all their job perfectly! To find a tire was one more problem for us as our tire is 21” and it is rare so no one keeps it in the stores. Thank you so much again! I was pulling my motorcycle with my dodge challenger and had a tire blowout on my trailer. I was about 5 miles away from this shop on the shoulder of the interstate, and was able to limp it to H&L. They mounted and balanced a new tire for me and I was back on the road in about an hour. I just showed up there, no phone call, no appointment or anything, and they appeared to be busy, but they still squeezed me in so I could get back on the road. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were on vacation and shortly after getting on the interstate received a low tire warning. Luckily H&L was just at the next exit. They quickly took a look, repaired and got us back on the road. Great, professional service. Much appreciated.

Unfortunately can no longer recommend. Used several times in the past with quality results.This time however dropped my vehicle off on a Sat with promise it would be looked at the following Monday. Was not evaluated until the following Fri. Multiple requests for written $$ estimate for recommended repairs went ignored over a 2 week period (I called 3 times, sent text and asked in person twice). I like to do business locally but guess I’ll be forced to find a shop in Savannah from here on out.

We were on the road to TN when the van started shaking when accelerating, went to h&l after getting a part and code read at a part store. Gene Shadler helped us out in a very prompt and professional manner. The overall atmosphere was very bussiness like and had a friendly vibe. Southern hospitality at its finest.

On our way back from vacation and our car broke down. Had a tow bring us to the closet place and we’re real happy it was h and l. The staff was very friendly and straight forward with us. They were in constant contact with us, made sure we knew every thing that went wrong and what needed fixing. We ended up needing specialized parts, which took an extra, but at no extra cost. There are veterans in the shop as well, so they had no problem offering us a military discount.

So we recently had to take the car in for an appointment which due to a massive repair that they had to do they could not get to it. So they literally work every which way to make it work for us. Very respectful very customer service oriented very open with communication... I have definitely found my home for auto repair!

I enjoyed this place, even though its right off the interstate. What I mean is, typically an auto craft place located off an interstate highway is usually focusing on price gouging, the drivers traveling the interstate. To my amazement their work and prices are pretty fair. Me being military and new to the Richmond Hill area, these people treated me as if theyve known me for years. I do believe theyve found a repeat customer in me.
