Well, don’t go here if you have a dog. Or a cat. I was told not to come with any items that had pet hair. Kind of hard to believe. Said it’s too hard on their machines. i’m going back because I have a dog. I also think it’s kind of ridiculous.

Not helpful, refused service if there was any pet hair on items. PSA to owner: You own a laundry mat….people will be coming in with all sorts of soiled clothes. Don’t offer self service if you refuse customers with pets

They ruined my new expensive comforter! It came back much more wrinkled. We are just sick about this!!!! I cant even put it on the bed it is so ugly now.

Great place to do laundry, not too busy. Owner is very helpful, and reasonably priced. Its an older business I choose to support.Quiet area where you can go outside and sit on a bench as well. Coffee at the end of the plaza 👍

I had a white Members Only jacket with stains from years past and they worked them out. The jacket is back to new!

Jimmy is great!! I can always come in and get my laundry done fast!! Machines work great!! Close to my home and they have cold refreshments.

Very helpful owner. The boat we were on American Empress has no washing machines for guests. We walked here with our washing and the owner helped us use the machines. Were from UK and were unsure how to use them. Very good customer service. An added bonus there is even a bar round the corner!

Very expensive, and the attendant wasnt very inviting, not that a dry cleaners employee or owner needs to be just put me off. I know Im not coming back for 10 quarters to wash a very small load of laundry.

I have no idea why people post such horrible reviews for this place!I am new to the area and did a quick search for a place to do laundry. I came across Uptown and was very skeptical about going in based on reviews. With a lack of options I gave it a shot and was overwhelmingly pleased with the service. The gentleman told us it was a family owned business and was incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean and fresh inside and the machines are in great condition. The prices are great and the speed in which the machines work is phenomenal!Dont let all the negative reviews sway you. This is an excellent location! While youre there check out the memorabilia adorning the walls is fascinating the history of the place!

Very friendly & helpful. Machines are well maintained and you are literally in and out in just a little over 1 hour!! Super efficient and clean. They also offer oversized machines to wash your comforters and large blankets. Plus, they have a lot of memorabilia on the walls for sale.

I have to admit that in the past my experiences there were somewhat negative.The owner and her son Jimmy can be a little abrupt socially.However, Jimmy WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND PROVIDING GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE a couple days ago for me!We needed a sleeping bag laundered at the last minute,so I called and the owner (sorry,did not get her name),said I would need to get it there very soon.I could not make it there until the afternoon though.Their policy is a 24-hour turnaround time for my service,so Jimmy explained this and I was happy they could do it promptly.Then he kindly offered to do it immediately and pick it up within a couple of hours!He must have seen the hurried panic on my face,and TOOK CARE OF ME!Unfortunately these days it is nearly unheard of to receive outstanding service like this.I really appreciated it,and will now make Uptown Cleaners my first choice.They also have the best price and shortest turn-around time!THANK YOU JIMMY FOR THE EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Jimmy was amazing :)He walked me through how to use the washers and even gave me advice about the amount of soap I needed! Jimmy was super nice and made me feel like we were old friends! The building effectively uses the space provided without over cramming the building I WOULD definitely recommend this place.

Staff is so helpful and friendly! They coached me through the tricks of the trade to restore my daughters down jacket to properly fluffy and insulating. They even leant the tennis balls to me while I dried the jacket.....a two day, 3 step process....who knew!

Came just to wash and dry one blanket. I dreaded having to go to a laundromat with my two toddlers for who knows how long. The owner was super friendly, even let me leave and come back once my clothes were done. Waiting for the dryer to finish he gave my toddlers candy and turned on cartoons. Very clean and friendly. Made my assumed experience flip around. I’ll definitely go back there if I need.

I love it here the machines are amazing and the guy is really nice once u get to know him lol I seen other peoples comments about him but he is awesome cant let ones experience become your own. The machines work great the dryers are awesome I mean the best I have found in this area, I wont go anywhere else now.

3rd laundromat Ive ever used in life. Its small and very pro Mariners and Seahawks. Prices are great and staff are friendly. Sitting here watching my 3 loads in the dryer tumble, very relaxing. Old building but quality CLEAN WORKING MACHINES.Ill be back and you need to come too, look at your clothes you filthy animal ;).

This place is fantastic. I live in North Richland, so its convenient, with good parking. Competitive pricing, and the service is excellent - Jimmy is great guy!

Great place to do laundry. Jimmy has been very helpful and friendly to us over the years we have been coming here. The machines work great and it is one of the more cleaner, safer places in Richland.

My first and second experience here were wonderful. Then this last time the guy working there was rude, he sat there lecturing me, if it wasnt over 1 thing it was another varying from way I do laundry, way I raise my children, over the amount of clothes I brought in to pay to use their machines to get them cleaned. Then turns around and tells me I should go to Pasco or Kennewick to do laundry if I have a lot of laundry to do, so hes turning away or pushing away customers and treats them like they are trash. I have never been so disrespected in my life especially over laundry and Im paying them and he spoke down to me and as if I was trash. I never made a mess, I kept the amount of machines down to what he requested and yet he still found it necessary to lecture me . Then I find out hes the owners son! NOT GOOD BUSINESS OR A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF YOUR BUSINESS

Ive been to the other place no comparison. The prices are right and its clean,and the machines are faster. I wont go anywhere else.

Our dryer broke and we came here twice. The first time was great but a little hot inside.. today the sign says they close at 6 and the guy said he wanted to close early to watch nascar. He started complaining that no one has been here in hours. I felt rushed the whole time, he said he would lock peoples clothes in here over night if they didn’t come before he closed. Why have hours on the door if you don’t want to go by them?

I left this place immediately after walking in. I just didnt feel comfortable being here. Its so tiny and dirty.

The lady that helped me was the most kind and friendly person. It was clean and the machines were effecient. Did a weeks worth of laundry in an hour.

This guy that works behind the counter needs to be cleaned himself. Been going there for 10 years 2 times a week. And the way he treated my wife is absurd. Mom he needs to be released. Send him over to the goodwill. Poor customer relations. Not good for business.

Cant find this place at all! Gps says its in the back, i have drove arpund for about 20 minutes looking for it.

Came in here with a friend. Prices were good. He needed his clothes back in 2 days, and apparently they dont allow people to pick up stuff on Fridays or Saturdays, so we had to go elsewhere.

As always when I Mom allows me to do the laundry I enjoy getting to go to Uptown Cleaners because the Staff is always in a great mood and their oversized units allow me to get in and out of their quickly

Used to be really nice, but Im not impressed with the pushing and judging as of the past few times I used this place. Very poor customer service and lack of understanding and respect for those who might be a bit different!

Great for laundry day. Cheap prices. Only thing is that you can only run 3 washers at a time because of electrical issues.

The prices are good, machines are pretty quick and seem to do an ok job getting the laundry clean. We had several mixed experiences with the staff hence the poor review. The gentleman who works there is very over bearing/rude/and tempermentle one time he was polite and helpful the next time he was cussing some lady out for bringing to much laundry, the next time he was very rude to my girlfriend and her son because his plumbing was not working correctly. Its just a laundry mat and there are other places to go without having to deal with moody employees. We wont be going back there not worth the hastle when there are other places to choose from.

They have great service, guy is always respectful and gives me straight up and to the point answers. dont know what the other reviews are talking about but im not really looking for a hearty conversation with the dry cleaner dude and neither does the employee.

My husband has been in once to have one or two loads done as he offers a wash/dry/fold option where you can drop off your laundry. This is great becuase we are really busy and i really just needed all my pants underwear and tawls wash.the guy was extreamly rude stating that he was upset there was not more then two loads. Whatever right? Then he picked up the laundry and not only was it NOT folded, but it was still damp.. i had to hang dry almost all the cloths and rewash some that smelled horrable.

So I went in with four loads of laundry to dry cause my dryer broke and couldnt get a tech out for a couple weeks. The man at the counter was extremely rude. I told him my situation and he told me that there were only two open dryers but I could see there were about 6 that were empty. I would of been ok with the two but he went on to tell me that he didnt want to make my problem his problem. His tone was very harsh and rude. I went in there to support his business and he made me feel like I was a problem to him. Needless to say, I walked out of there.

Man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Ask about amount of soap to put in before adding any!

Ive spent a lot of time in this place. Might not be the friendliest all the time, but it isnt too expensive and they offer a drop off service.
