They try to charge more than double what other shops charge. $700 for rear shocks, $260 at Les Schwab for the same. They seem to be concerned about over charging, not friendly cost competitive services.In the past, with good faith, I had them replace my front shocks & struts, they tore apart my wheel well aprons and thought a zip tie was the appropriate fix.

Every time I give them another try for minor auto repair, they disappoint. This time A/C. Got quote for $2315! Ford dealer also quoted, but only $1300. They are focused on making $$$. Too bad, as well. They are the little guy and close. But same thing previously on another rig with radiator leak. Figure it out people. We do have options.

TLDR; they helped me diagnose an problem thats been an issue for over a year.This is a bit of a long review. May of 2020 I had taken my car to a local Les Schwab (different city) for tire maintenance (note, I have a 2010 Infiniti G37X with aftermarket wheels if anyone else runs into this issue). It was the usual stuff, rotation, inspection, balancing, etc. Partway through, a technician came and told me the wheels were severely out of balance and that I likely had a bumpy ride (I thought to myself no not really but I was new to car stuff) and agreed to the balancing. Later that day I go to pickup my car and lo and behold, the steering wheel is shaking, even at lower speeds. I took it back in the next day to have it looked at and was told there was a bent wheel(s). At this point I should have taken action and spoken to a manager, but I was naive and have poor memory so I second guessed myself. The technician bent the wheel(s) back as far as he safely could and I went on my way. The problem quickly came back and there started the fun.Id spoken to a friend who knew more about cars than I and they didnt notice any issues, but they did comment that there was alot of weights added to the back wheels, odd. Id gone back to the same Les Schwab for another round of tire maintenance and was again told that the wheel(s) was bent and Id probably have to get new ones. Was given a brochure and went home to do research.Id since moved which is why Im writing a review for this location. I needed brake maintenance and previously had my brakes replaced here, thought this shopped seemed decent so I went another time to see if they had ideas as to the issue as well as some wheel maintenance. The two gentlemen there were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and had noted that I had aftermarket wheels, but no hub centric rings (which is a must to reduce vibrations). I took their advice and purchased some rings to the right size and put them on myself. While the problem didnt go away entirely, it definitely reduced it. I then took the car for a balancing/alignment at a local dealership (not Infiniti) as my research showed they had better balancing equipment. Its been running smooth since.In conclusion, I have no idea what the original Les Schwab did. They likely lost the hub centric rings on there (cant confirm if there were any originally) and balanced the wheels to that. I dont really have any other explanation for such a sudden change. I took my car in because it had a battery light on they said it was my battery and when I got it back the light was still on and they said the didnt know why then I took it into a shop and they said it was my alternator. So I wasted 150 on somthing I didnt need I would give them zero star if I could . Worst place ever and I broke down on the side of the road because of them and dont call me

Got the job done quick but question how proficient. Will know in a couple trips.

They want to charge $120 for very simple diagnosis. Then they asked for very high price for the actual repair. I need to have AAA to tow my car to another shop to get it fixed. It turns out they identified problems that my car does not have, according to the second repair. A lesson I learned is that to double check with another repair shop.

Had my brakes done, very good job. They are so great with electrical problems and they helped me change the battery in the darned Apple tv remote!!😀😀

We had to have our car towed here a few months ago after it just quit on us. Theyre up front about repairs, cost estimates---had it running in a timely manner, even delivered it to our home for us as a courtesy. They honored their warranty when same problem happened again, no charge for the repair this time. And also saved us money by checking several parts that the dealer said needed replacing, which did not. Highly recommend this place!

Called around to several places about a problem I had on my vehicle. Every Auto shop in the tricities wanted an arm and leg to fix. Called Tricity battery and we worked out a deal that I was very pleased with. They Ordered the part and got me in very next day. Good workers, know what they’re doing, and had great customer service. My 97 Ram 1500, lost nearly all of its oil, from a bad Oil Pressure Sensor. I shut it off near the Tri City Battery on Queensgate. After putting in oil and getting it to the shop, unscheduled and leaking oil, The guys at this location,Got my truck in and diagnosed very quickly and took care of a speedometer problem my truck also had. They kept me informed the entire time and in the end, the cost of repairs was better than I expected. Both the a customer Service and not being ripped off, are very rare these days and I would recommend these guys to anyone!

As an auto repair shop owner, Michaels Automotive in Boise ID, I will say that I was very impressed by the service that I received after my vehicle stopped running on I-82 on a Sunday evening. After my truck was dropped at their shop and I was taken to a nearby hotel, I called Monday morning at 8:40 to see when they would be able to get to look at it and I was informed that the technician was getting ready to test drive it. I was impressed by their diagnostic capability and the total of the invoice was very reasonable. They are a AAA shop and that is why I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Awful service truly upsetting we took our Tahoe because they didn’t fix a part correctly, they told us to get there at 2pm and told us to come back at 3pm. We made an appointment for 2pm, we ended up leaving the truck there until they were able to fix it. We went back to pick up the truck and there was two guys there who didn’t make eye contact with us, we told them we were there to pick up the Tahoe and they threw the keys at us and said there you go. They were very unfriendly and had terrible customer service very rude. I’m sorry but would not recommend this place.

We had been told at a different shop that our battery was toast. Since we hadnt had any problems with it we took it here for a second opinion. They tested it and told us it was perfectly fine! Complete rip. Had a squeak in the brakes. They quoted 1 hr. $110. They had my car 4 hrs. I called them twice, they picked me up took me to pick up my car with-a $300 and still squeaky brakes but a quote of over $1,000 to fix. I never received phone calls to ok more money. I went to Les schwab, $340 problem fixed, guaranteed .

Came here to get my oil changed for the first time since I got my new car. My car was in perfect condition with no leaks or anything. After I got my car back from them it ran good but started leaking oil really bad when I checked the dip stick there was absolutely no oil on it so my 2013 new to me car with only 80k on it that I’m still paying off almost blew up if I didn’t check the oil level. My boyfriend was furious and checked to see what was up with it and saw that the filter was not put on correctly! This shop took 3 hours to do a simple oil change for it not to even be done correctly and could’ve have had me out of thousands of dollars if the engine blew due to having no oil from the leak they caused by not checking their work. DONT COME HERE! Even if you don’t have the time to do a oil change yourself make time cus it’s very important that simple work like this is done correctly. Very unhappy with this business and I will never recommend them to anyone or ever come back.

They were fast and professional with replacing my alternator and gave suggestions on other things my vehicle might need in the future but were not pushy about getting it done. Ill be sending my car here if I have any more problems.

Ive been calling all around the Tri cities in finding out if any shops would install my rough country that I had bought elsewhere and had no luck. Shane from the Richland location reached out to me on my listing on Facebook and mentioned that his shop would do it. I got there first thing in the morning and and Shane immediately took care of me. He mentioned it would take around 7 hours for it to be done, and as promised him and his team delivered. I am very happy with the service I received and already scheduled a time to get $1300 worth of suspension work to be done on my Suburban. I was actually recommended from my boss Dr. Badorek and her husband to go check out Tri City Battery and very glad I did so.

I was in Richland for work and it was my last day there before heading back to Kelso where our shop is located. It was Friday morning and as I was just starting my day, the fuel pump went out in my pickup. Called a towing service and they recommended Tri-Cities Battery. And am I ever glad they did. They got my truck in pretty quickly and diagnosed it as the fuel pump, problem was, there wasnt a fuel pump available until Saturday morning, So they ordered the pump and proceeded to drive me to my hotel in Kennewick. So on Saturday, they promptly got the fuel pump installed and sent someone to pick me up at my hotel. Great service, great people and a great price. I would highly recommend them to everyone in need of sevice to your vehichle. I wish I could remember everyones name that helped me, but names arent my best subject, and I dont think it matters because they were all great. Needed a battery for an old Honda scooter, didnt have one currently . Went in asked for one they acted like they couldnt match one up ... all batteries are different & they need the original .Large older male was short with customer service and NOT at all helpful . Im headed black to Wal-Mart where I was just at but wanted to support a local shop SMH .
