Mike was my contact and he was very professional and courteous. My only issue was the repair took a little bit of time, 9 days total with weekends closed. Maybe I should have brought my car in on a Monday😐. But overall very satisfied with the work.🤩💯👌. My Accord looks fantastic!🤩

Found these guy online. Took my car in, checked out the damage, and provided me an estimate within 30 minutes. They were extremely professional and affordable. Not only did they get the work done much sooner than expected, I couldn’t even tell there had been work done! They kept me updated throughout the entire process, and I could tell the car had been cleaned & vacuumed when I picked it up. Their office area has a dual monitor setup so the customer can see exactly what parts are being ordered and how much theyll be paying. Nearby shop wanted to overcharge me so I decided to look for a different collision shop, Greg and LaMettrys saved me a ton of money and I will be returning for future repairs.

I was referred here by Honda which made me a little skeptical, I like to give smaller businesses my money and usually find they’re a bit more honest. But I’m so glad I was wrong! Greg, the manager, was super transparent and friendly. I brought my car in for an estimate and he had my car fixed within the hour. The part was inexpensive, and Greg walked me through the purchase and even showed me the physical part prior to installation! Sheila and Cody, two lovely women at the front desk, were professional, kind and made me feel welcome while I waited for services to be completed. These guys take wayyyyyy toooooo loooooooonnnnngggg! I’ve been without my car for a month. They also tried to give me a used spare tire wheel for the replacement.I don’t recommend them. I’m sorry, but they’re way to slow, don’t seem to think that getting people their car back is a priority.Never again.Forgot to mention that my rear window doesn’t work now nor does the light on my running board. LaMettrys replaced the window of my car after it was vandalized in a theft attempt. Allen was super helpful finding the right piece of glass for my older model Jeep, and Zach installed it super fast. This place is absolutely outstanding in terms of work, customer service, & more! I had my 2016 Honda Pilot here for possible repairs (ended up being a loss) and was just amazed @ the service. They make sure your property is handled as if it’s their top priority - as an entire shop not just one person. They contact you about anything whether it’s insurance, your vehicle, or any service being done on it. My car obviously wasn’t “fixed” here but LaMettry’s will be my only preference from now on. I’ve also had a 2016 Toyota Camry I owned fixed here years back and the service got 10 times better!

I had two encounters with LaMettrys Collision. The first was a scheduled repair for a bumper replacement as set by my insurance. They were friendly, fast and the car looked brand new. That service isnt the one Im writing the review about though.I came in today (more than a year after my bumper was replaced) because I was given new license plates and I couldnt get the mounting screws off of the rear plate on my newish bumper. I tried on my own and stopped by a local shop (to remain unnamed) and they did more damage trying to impact drill the screw off.Sorry if Im bad with names, but I think Greg (craig?... greg.) checked my car in immediately to see if he could help. They usually dont cut into metal but they took it in anyway. The technicians name was Doug (Dougie?... doug).I only waited about ten minutes.They had gotten the old mounting bracket off and installed new ones with new screws on the front and back that were no longer rusted. They advised that I get some license plate frames to protect it in the car wash and told me I was good to go.THEY DIDNT EVEN ASK ME TO PAY FOR ANYTHING!I asked if I could pay them SOMETHING but they waved it off and told me I could be on my way.A business made a creative solution, for a service they dont usually do, between appointments, at no charge. Im floored.I saw LaMettrys is a family owned buisness. I hope youre reading this right now (the family/owners). I have to navigate working from home and driving my kid to Woodbury for daycare amid everything thats going on and your employees made my day SO EASY. Seriously, give them all raises, keep them around, whatever it is that you do!I had a great experience as a customer from the time I pulled in to the time I left. Thats a rarity these days. I had a wonderful experience at the Richfield LaMettrys location and cannot recommend LaMettrys highly enough. James, Mike and Shelia were so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process of my vehicle getting fixed -not to mention the repair job was flawless and fast! I loved the option to receive communication via text, it made it so easy to get in contact with the shop and gave me regular and timely updates on my car. Mike was awesome with helping me liaise with the insurance company to get the repairs approved and was so accommodating while I waited to receive the insurance payment to cover the repairs.

Took my car in for an estimate for a minor car door ding. Was told by manager Greg Wood that it would take 3 days tops and that he would include a complimentary buff of another scratch on my car. I was impressed so I decided to go with them. Brought my car in on a Tuesday (before my wedding) expecting to have it finished before my wedding. I was later told that my car wouldn’t be finished until Tuesday of the next week. I call on the Tuesday because I hadn’t gotten an update yet and was told my car would not be done until Friday. when I asked for a reason I was told it was the insurance fault. I called them back later that same day because I had plans to be out of town for that weekend and explained my issue to the manager. He tells me that it was a miscommunication on their end on why the repairs were not complete. They worked with me to get my car done by Thursday. Unfortunately the unprofessionalism didn’t stop... I come 2 hours after I get the call that my car is complete to find that my car had been idling in the parking lot for the entire 2 hours with less than half of a tank of gas. When I brought it up to the employee who walked me to my car he was quiet and then said maybe his mechanic accidentally hit his finger on my button start before leaving the car that afternoon. He didn’t offer anything for the gas that was burned and instead gave me a ridiculous excuse as to why my car had been left idling. So unprofessional. I would have expected a mechanic to know the basics of turning off a car when it is parked...simply put my experience with LaMettry’s was inconvenient and unprofessional. I will NEVER take my car to another LaMettry’s again.

LaMettrys did a great job fixing up my car after it got caught out in some baseball sized hail. The fix was quick, they communicated with me every step of the way and it ended up being done a day early. Friendly and good service. Everybody there is amazing! They provide the best quality services. I had my front windshield cracked. I called it and got an appointment within 3 days. I met with Zack and he fixed my windshield within an hour and a half. I have lifetime warranty on it too! Best auto shop in the twin cities. Couldn’t have dreamed for a better repair.

LaMettrys made a special effort to get my windshield replacement work done on short notice so that we could take a trip. Work was done The morning after I called them and everything was done really well. They took care of contact and insurance and filing a claim with me on a three-way phone call. I didnt have to do a thing. They also went out of their way to let me know about open recalls and I found out about some important work that I needed to schedule for completion. The technician who completed my job called me when it was complete and walked me through everything about what to expect and how to take care of my windshield for the first 24 hour. I would recommend LaMettrys in a heartbeat to anybody needing body or collision work done.

My Tesla Model 3 was repaired here. The staff was very friendly and professional in all my interactions. The one hiccup was that Tesla had sent the wrong door, and I felt like the communication around this could’ve been better (my car ended up being in repair for nearly two months). Otherwise, exceptional service and they even worked with me to help me ship my car as I had moved out of state during the repair.

They were not able to fix my mothers SUV however their service was far above expectation considering my mother was out of state and she was very impressed with their attentive service.

Tl;dr - Im very happy. The best part was the ability to text with Mike at LaMettrys and get updates without needing to ask.LaMettrys was my choice for repair after a tree fell on my Mercedes-Benz GLK because Feldmann Imports said it was the shop they used. In general, body work is expensive and takes forever, but the experience was made all the better by Mike, who kept me in the loop with what was going on, and made clear expectations for what was going to happen next.For example, hed text on Monday that it was scheduled for paint on Thursday and then hed check back with me on Thursday and let me know what the next step was. It was that simple. I didnt have to worry or wonder what was going on.I had originally started the insurance claim with my agent, but when I gave LaMettrys the truck I also gave them my insurance paperwork and they took care of all the insurance stuff after that. My insurance adjuster checked in with me, but otherwise I didnt need to do anything with the claim.Mike was very receptive to my needs and was able to help me with minor body repairs unrelated to the insurance loss that I probably wouldnt have bothered with if it werent already in the shop.As for quality, of course the quality of the work is beautiful and I have no doubt the repairs will last me because of the warranty they provided.What most impressed me the most about the quality was that they were able to repair deep scratches in both the front and rear plastic bumper cover without needing to source a whole new bumper. Looking at it, youd never know there was a scratch. Same with my drivers side mirror, which had at some point rubbed up against a trash bin and gotten scratched. Now its like it was never there.

I was just rear-end and had my bumper replaced, Im okay with the body work. The customer service was okay, but those I worked with didnt like to listen to my concerns.(Which turned out to be valid.)To begin the journey, l told everyone I spoke to that my tire alignment needed to be checked, I didnt want my car in the shop multiple times. They downplayed and tried to overlook this concern because insurance didnt want to pay for it. I was told it would be fine and they tried to return my car to me early. I insisted otherwise and I stated I would be willing to pay for this myself, but turns out corrections were needed and insurance ultimately did pay for it.

I have brought my car here twice now. I had positive experiences both times. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and friendly. I was updated on the status of the repairs every step of the way by Brady. Also, my car needed some routine maintenance and they were able to take care of that, saving me a trip to the dealership. I would not take my car anywhere else

Have taken our cars here multiple times due to accidents. After this last time we won’t be back. They didn’t get the keys when the tow truck dropped it off. Yes, the tow truck driver didn’t leave the keys but we dropped off our set that same day so that was not an excuse to not look at the car. It took them 2 weeks to even look at it (this was summer so shouldn’t be as busy as winter). Communication by Michael was non-existant and couldn’t give me a reason why it was dragging. Something that should of taken a week took over a month. Just had someone rear ended me and we will be taking that car some place else for repair.In reply to the company’s response: This repair took over a month, the estimate from the repair company took a week. You had the estimate by the time the car was dropped at your facility for repairs by the insurance company. I find it funny that your only response is to try and defend yourself and not apologize for the bad service. My review of your facility stands. If you look at my other reviews I’m happy to give good reviews when earned and you guys did not earn one.
