Like many, Ive had some NIGHTMARE experiences in the past when it comes to moving companies -- my anxiety is now always through the roof the day of a move after a particular experience with a different place. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text the day before my move from ATB to confirm, and then was called about 2 hours before they showed, and they called an hour when the ATB team was on their way. Clear communication! Good timing. They were friendly, patient and knew exactly what they were doing. I have some big furniture pieces and they were so nice - In the past Ive had movers complain to my face. Not these guys! Use them if you need any kind of move, theyll make your moving day so smooth! Dare I say, they make moving enjoyable? Thank you guys!!

I can’t say enough good things about the ATB crew. We were faced with an eviction during the pandemic and ATB came through in a major way.The packers packed perfectly.The movers moved magnificently.COVID-19 compliant to boot!

We donated furniture to Habitat for Humanity. These were the folks that do that for them. They were scheduled for 8am - 12. They got here around 9. There was a crew of 3. They brought in a dolly and a 4 wheeler. They ended up moving everything by hand, including the Sofa sleeper.They were courteous and friendly. Also very professional. I would call them again without hesitation!

A 3hr job took 5hrs and cost $700 (highway robbery). Mike (the owner) was extremely rude talked to me as if I wasn’t a customer at all and the driver was very argumentative as well. Hardwood floor scratched. Glasses broken.An entire box of dishes broken.Very disappointed in this move!!!

Great customer service, arrived on time. I moved from a 3 bedroom house in Richardson to a 3 bedroom house in plano. They sent 4 guys out and got us moved in less time than estimated. They were careful and didnt damage anything. All and all it was a great experience and I will absolutely be using them again.

If I could give zero I would.... the house I was moving into was broken into so I asked for a chance to move the date... something totally out of my control and they were all so rude they literally just hung up.

I hired around the Block to move my 84 year old father. They were punctual and courteous. My dad is a difficult man to please but he was very pleased. It was a VERY hard move and the guys never complained once! I would recommend Around the Block to anyone who asked for a good mover!!!

Jay and Vonn were great movers. They were quick, friendly, and helpful. They were honest with time and didnt slow down to fill hours or try to nickel and dime me for random bits. AtB called to see how the move was going and they have great quality control. They told me after about how their company has good ESG and outreach since they contribute a percentage of each move to feeding the hungry and a bit more to fight breast cancer. Ive used Around The Block Moving at least 8 times in the last 12 years, & each & every time was a 5-star experience. They have relocated my office several times - which included at least 2 truck loads full of electronics, & at least 3 truck loads full of office furniture each time. Everything arrived exactly like it should have. I was surprised that they knew how to disconnect, & reconnect all of the electronics, but they did it like they knew what they were doing. They brought 2 truck loads one time, & 3 truck loads another time out to my ranch - & each trip was flawless. They have relocated my personal belongings from one 4,000+ sq. ft. house to another 4,000+ sq. ft. house 3 different times, & never a problem. I even used them to move girlfriends either into my house, or out of my house. I have had nothing but great experiences with this moving company. Mike, the owner, is very professional, & is as good as they get. Suzette always checked with me before, during, & after a move. The movers are great as well. Ask for Trey - hell have you laughing. I once had to use a different moving company because Around The Block Moving was booked - & it was the worst moving experience ever. I will never use another moving company besides Around The Block Moving. As for the few who wrote some negative reviews about this moving company, I think its just a matter of their medication not agreeing with them. I would highly recommend this company.

Around the Block Movers was a lifesaver. They moved us from a 5,500 square foot home to a condo half the size, as well as moving about 80% of our furniture (lots of antiques and art) to a storage unit. Somehow Mikes employees - Andy, Sean, Trey, EJ, Ryan and Robert kept huge smiles on their faces for three days straight. They were so professional, good tempered, careful and capable that they actually DO manage to turn a stressful job like moving into a pleasurable experience. Andrew and Trey had a move before mine that took about 5 hours and showed up to move me out of my second floor apartment into a different complex with a third floor walk up and it took them less than 3 hours!They saved me and I would recommend this amazing group of people to anyone looking to move in the Dallas area.

Worst experience ever!!! I called this company for my move and was extremely pleased with the price so I scheduled my move. Today comes and it’s time for the move but NO movers. I called and spoke with a manager by the name of JEROME. He informed me that the move was scheduled for the wrong day. I explained I had to move today! Jeromes response was “I don’t know what to tell you”. Never apologized for this company’s mistake! He actually made an excuse saying the “31” and “1” were mixed up in regards to the date. He offered me NO other options. He was extremely rude to me for something they did wrong! Remind you this is a “manager”. Stay away from this company if at all possible. After calling other places, I actually found a cheaper solution so it all worked out. Horrible company and horrible service!

I have used a bunch of different movers in Dallas. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried Around The Block moving for my local Dallas move (from uptown to far north Dallas). ATB is one of the most efficient and responsible. They treat you with respect and are really professional and courteous. Mike, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. My dresser got slightly damaged during the move (not really their fault – it was an old dresser that was not very sturdy) and he replaced it at no cost to me. I will not hesitate to use Around The Block Moving again.

I needed to move out of my apartment April 1st, and the moving company I hired cancelled on me day of. I frantically called around and AB Moving was happy to help me in my need of crisis. The movers arrived exactly on time to my apartment. They carefully took apart my furniture & wrapped it to ensure my personal items would get damaged. I wanted to throw some furniture away, and they offered to load it up and take it to the dumpster. The movers were so friendly and nice. AB Moving was so wonderful that I hired them again to move boxes from work to our work storage unit.Management is fabulous as well. They are quick to respond to all e-mails or inquiries about their moving company. Just all around a great experience!

Yesterday I moved to my new apartment with the major help of Austin and Chris. They were both efficient, quick, helpful, polite and CAREFUL. I appreciated all of their help. They helped to turn around what was a bad month by giving me a very positive and easy move. ATB did a great job. They arrived near the beginning of the time window they gave us, and called to let me know they were on the way. The movers stayed very focused and were professional (they also didnt complain about our horrible stairs!). I also liked that they simply charge you based on the time used and I didnt have to do a bunch of work specifying what kind of things had to be moved. Id definitely use them again.

Reserved my move 3 weeks in advance and they even called a few days before to confirm. On the day of my move, no one showed up or called. I called to see where they were and they said they couldn’t start the truck. I said fine, send the guys and I’ll rent a truck. He then said they already sent them home for the day. Either I was flat out lied to or they don’t bother calling their customers when they won’t be able to do the job. Either way - I wouldn’t do business with them.

Worked with this company. They are very conniving and snake like. Will try and con customers out of money for miscellaneous extra fees. Also they ride clock moving extremely slow to finish the job or move customers furniture.

I booked this company to move my 3 story town home and specifically told the phone operator (?Anthony) it was a 3 story town home and I needed to move a refrigerator on the 2nd floor. A moving crew of 2 men came and ended up not being able to move the refrigerator. The mover told me he wasnt notified it was on the 2nd floor. To make things worse, they scratched up my floor when they tried to move the fridge. I ended up getting charged 30 minutes of the time they tried to move the fridge. The mover was ill prepared to remove the doors on the fridge so it can fit down the stairway. The phone operator also didnt tell me they would start charging me from the time the movers left their office. If I knew this, I would have hired another company who charges only a $50 trip fee! I think the movers did all they could have given they were not told about moving the fridge from the 2nd floor. I called them back the week after to discuss my issues and they never called me back as promised. I squarely put this on the phone operator and the company policy. I would not recommend this company.

My mother was looking for a mover for a dual purpose- to help pack her storage unit and plan a move across the country. She needed help with packing a few of the larger items- as they were to heavy to lift. The movers; LeDarrin, Reggie, and Robert, showed up a bit early (not before calling first to see if she was going to be around.) and they worked HARD for three solid hours, on a very hot day. The movers from Around the Block packed up the items so they could be in storage for a few years and I feel confident they will be in good condition when she pulls them out. I have recommended these gentlemen as movers to others that will need moving services!! Well Done, and a big Thank You!
